For anyone shut out or not bothering to call because of the madness, I don't know how flexible you can be or anything or when you're going, but I was just on the phone adding allergies to my ADR's and was told that this year it's crazy for BOG ressies but for Jan and Feb of '13 they don't have much of a problem getting people in.

Will we be able to add allergies on to our ressies tomorrow, do you think? You know, because of the availability of online booking starting tomorrow? I completely had forgotten about this.....i have a dreadful shellfish allergy and this is the only ADR that I haven't included this fact

I believe you have to call to add allergies, since that's what I've always had to do. The phones aren't insane today, or weren't around noon when I called and added a few allergies to 4 or 5 ressies in under like 5 minutes total. DGF has life threatening nut allergies as well as cinnamon and shellfish (girl is allergic to everything) and I forgot to add them to most of our ressies for the next few months lol!

Does anyone know which rooms or how many of them will be used for lunch? Am I reading correctly that the ballroom is only for dinner? The other rooms seem so small, but it's hard to tell w/ the little snippets of pics they keep posting. Sure would be nice if they'd give more info out. so sneaky!

Wonder how many seats were omitted for dinner in that Rose Garden that could have allowed more people to get ADR's yesterday....They said the restaurant seats 550, but if you subract the seats in the Rose Garden, I wonder how many actual seats are available for dinner ADRs? It would have been smarter on Disney's end to allow all 3 rooms for dinner and to have stayed open later on party nights IMO. Maybe they will do this after they saw the madness yesterday.

It's possible that the Rose Garden might not have the same kind of layout as the dinner dining rooms, making that room non-useable or not as 'nice' for a formal dinner. I'm still unclear. So only 1 room at lunch, and the other 2 at dinner? Because if that's the case, then I'm even more happy that I got an ADR. Because only 1 room at lunch would be a nightmare of a wait.

This is what I was thinking also. I sure hope they might consider opening more rooms for lunch if they see one room is not enough...which I'm sure it won't be. or maybe include outdoor seating as well? probably not since it's on "real" dishes.

After the nightmare we had yesterday, I'm thinking they may eventually use all the rooms for lunch and all the rooms for dinner and that this may only be for now until staff and everything runs smoothly. Of course, I don't know, but I'm just thinking this is what will eventually happen...I also think this is only going to be a 1 credit meal temporarily. Had disney known the craziness that was going to happen yesterday, they probably would have already made this a signature dining.

I agree that Disney is not going to allow all 550 seats open in the beginning. No rollout is without glitches so they are not going to want to magnify all of the bumps by without giving the staff time to work out timing, menu and turnover.

I bet this restaurant will end up a signature dining experience after a while. My family was lucky enough to get CRT lunch before it went to 2 TS credits.

This is not a defense of Disney but I think they were fully aware of the chaos this would cause. I think they figured out the lesser of multiple evils and took one. Not everyone who wanted a reservation was going to get one. I think the cc guarantee was a massive oversight but in the end they accepted a ton of people.

For those that went back today and "retrieved" or "confirmed" that your reservation was still there, did you go online or did you call? I signed back into my reservation online and my BOG reservation was still there, however, I'm the one that put it in there, so I'm not sure how reassuring that is

i made a ressie yesterday with no cc. I too added it to my resort ressie and called twice last night, spoke to two different CM's both told me, we can't add a cc but it's fine it won't be canceled. I called again today and they took my cc # and gave me a new confirmation. Then my old ressie deleted from the list and the new one appeared. I feel much more comfortable knowing its secured.

OMG, I was asleep at the wheel! I had August 28 on my calendar to make a reservation. Eeek! I need to call first thing tomorrow.

Thing is I got distracted yesterday. I checked my waitlist for BC for Dec 31 and it came through. I wasn't expecting that till about November. Here's hoping for pixie dust!
