The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

I just checked with the Yacht and Beach Club Concierge about this issue and he said our reservation to BOG was booked in the system as of now even though I used automated ad did not have to add a credit card. Now I am having him look into whether or not he can ADD a credit card to our reservation to ensure that when the system goes down it isn't dropped. I'll let you know what I find out. We have a reservation at 4:10 on 12/2 (MVMCP night).


She confirmed that without a credit card attached, the reservations would be cancelled tonight. She went back and added my credit card, had to charge a penny to get it to hold but told me to STILL call her back tomorrow to make sure it worked. This has me in knots! I told her I was on the phone for over two hours just trying to book it through the auto system. I will freak out if it cancels out this reservation after all the time I've spend this morning.
 
Has anyone been able to add the ADR to the My Reservations on the waltdisneyworld.com??


I haven't been able to get mine to show up on My Reservations. I talked to an agent, I gave a credit card number and I have a confirmation number, but when I use "find missing reservation" it doesn't come up.
 
How in the WORLD are people calling & speaking to agents multiple times?!? I haven't been able to get anything but a "busy circuits" message on 4 phone numbers since 7:00 am!!

Not that it matters any more anyway, since my dates seem to be completely booked up for my entire trip... :sad2:

I am wondering the same thing!!!!!! I am watching all my dates fill up and cannot even get through once. (well I did two hours ago only to get hung up on)

This is soooo frustrating. Waiting months for this day and..... blah blah blah.

I feel sorry for those who do not know about the Disboards, they don't have shot.............. then again, neither do many of us.
 
This is making me :mad:. I was listening to busy signals for a hour and a half this morning. Now because I used the automated system and they didnt get my credit card... I have now be on hold for 36 mins AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

frankly, that would be enough to make me cancel my Disney vacation and turn it into a US vacation. I WON'T take my money to Disney...I WON'T renew my APs...I won't stay on Disney property. In short, Disney won't get one dime out of me for a long time. I have paid for my airfare but everything else can be cancelled and re-booked at Universal.

I understand computer glitches...but Disney is big business and they have the capability to 'throw a switch' and exempt BOG from cc hold today. How many won't show up at BOG??? Seriously?

Disney needs to fix this NOW in the interest of customer service and good business.

You run a global DB update that puts something other than null in the CC# field. It doesn't even have to be a working number.

Or...you remove BOG from the CC hold "list" of ressies (so the auto process doesn't run on it....like it doesn't run on the OTHER "non-CC hold" ADR's) until you can fix the problem.

There are ways to get pretty much every system to work exactly the way you want it to, when there is a Customer Service fubar type situation.

I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the CMs working the check in desk. You know this is going to happen over and over again. It took me 2 1/2 hours to get the reservation and now I am on hold again to add the CC info. This is just wrong.

I tried Dec 6th and the 5th. She didn't tell they weren't loaded in system, just told me there were no openings.

So stressful...this one dining reservation has taken up four hours of my day starting at 5am my time so I am wrecked for the day now.

Glad to get it done...but stressed!

that's a plumb ridiculous answer. That CM was just throwing out whatever lame excuse came to their mind.

I will try my best to call them...but I'm getting "all circuits busy" and have been (with one lucky exception) on a variety of numbers. I WANT to add my CC number.

I can't.

And if they cancel my ADR because of their system problems...it won't be pretty, either. And while it won't be the BOG hosts fault...they'll likely be the ones to experience my displeasure.

That isn't exactly the way you want to open a new restaurant...because I doubt I'd be the first or only, were Disney to do what is being suggested.
 
How are people getting thru multiples times? I have been trying since the phones opened .... and haven't gotten through once!
 
i've been on hold for over 40 mins to add my cc#....i shoulda known it went waaaay too smooth this morning.

now i have to leave soon and even tho i am on a cellphone, i am confident i will losethe call in transit and be uber-p*ssed off the rest of the day. :happytv:
