The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

Well the CM I spoke to was wrong about his prediction that BOG would be available to book when my 180 window opened on June 10th knew it was too good to be true!

Funny- I thought about that on Sunday. Oh well. At some point I think we should all just start making guesses on when we think the announcement will come and when we think booking will start. I mean, if the CMs can have fun speculating...why not us!

A poster on the Dec. Roll Call Thread was making her ADRs yesterday. The CM told her that she had just gotten out of a staff meeting and they were told that ADRs would start on October 1st.

Now, yes, we know that often what dining CMs says about this kinda stuff is usually not accurate etc (a la the Disney bus drivers), but I just wanted to share what was told to her.

It could make sense. It's MK's birthday! Oh well, let's see if this pans out to be true! If so, we all got awhile to wait!

I just read that BOG will offer quick service for lunch so thats cool, if it is in fact open when I go mid Nov, so if I cant get ADR for dinner then we could do lunch

now it just needs to be open

I ahve also read it may be table service for breakfast when it first opens to accomadate more people...just have to wait and see.

I read that thread yesterday. I spoke with a CM this morning while booking my ADRs for December and she told me they have not heard a word about when it is to open or start taking resservations.

My fingers are crossed ...

When they said ADR's for Oct. 1, does that mean that will be the first day the place is open to seat people with ADRS for that date? or does that mean that will be the first date you can call to make yoru ADRS?

I don't think I'm going to like waiting until October to make an ADR for be our guest!! I'll be booking LTT as back up for the night I want anyways. I'm sure it will be open for my trip, but my guess is that you've got to be in the right place at the right time to get an ADR for be our guest!

Does anyone know if at dinner they will have characters?

We have a January 2013 trip planned and our 180 window opens in July. I wonder if we will be able to make ADRs for our January trip in July since that our trip in January will be past the "2012 Holiday Season". Does anyone know any more progress on the restaurant other than the post on the Disney blog?

We did the same thing for our early december trip. Booked LTT for dinner (though not on an MVMCP night)...but will try for BOG ADR's when/if they go up.

First...to the pp who asked about characters...it's been speculated that it will not be a character meal. Once again- pure speculation/rumor...although I think something of this nature may have come directly from Disney at some point.

As for the Oct 1 rumor...that falls in with my guesses.

I was thinking mid Sept (i.e. once people have settled into school a bit) would be when they announced it and that early Oct would be when they opened it...since this would also coincide when people are deciding and booking dining for spring break trips. The MK bday would be a nice touch

As for an actual opening date...I seriously can't see them missing out on the Thanksgiving crowds, and since rates go up around the 17th...I would think there'd be a soft opening of some sort before they go live with the Thanksgiving crowds. i.e. I'm thinking around Nov 9/10 around when Osborne Lights starts up around this time as does MVMCP.

I know- wishful thinking, but hey- a girl can dream!

Snap - I also asked and told the CM about the Oct 1st rumour posted on here and she actually laughed and said you gotta love the internet. Good - Oct 1st was waaaaaaay too far away for me

That would be me We have an ADR for November 27th, our MVMCP date. We have no issues making changes to get into BOG!
