The unofficial waiting to make Be Our Guest ADRs thread-8/20 7am

I was trying to book for a tuesday and she didnt say it wouldnt be available just that no dates for december had been added as yet

I am not within my 180 day window since our trip is January 2013. Can anyone check to see if BOG opens today for Holiday reservations? Here's wishing :wizard: that is why the system is down today. :wizard:

No need to look. These boards will light up like a Christmas tree when it happens! :santa:

This just made me laugh. But nothing could be truer. :thumbsup2 I bet the Disney dining CMs are dreading the day that ADRs are released.

Just checked online reservations. The system does not look like it is down for me. I was able to search for Le Celier for my trip in October.

I even switched to Dec 6 and nothing shows up when you type "be" in the restaurant name box.

I just got off the phone with a CM - I had to call to check and see if Dec dates for the fireworks cruise have been released.

I asked if she knew what was going on with the dining ressie's and she said she heard they are releasing more dates for around Thanksgiving and for Hoop De Doo. I asked if she knew anything about BOG and she said "no, but they are hoping for a Sep/Oct soft opening MAYBE - but if not then a holiday opening"

...I would take all that with a grain of salt...and perhaps a shot of tequila as well :rotfl:

Thanks for the update. I am still hoping they are opening BOG reservations with the system being down. :wizard: A girl can wish can't she :thumbsup2:goodvibes:wizard:

I actually would not be the least bit surprised by this. But I also would not expect ADRs to be available until the soft opening starts. But I'd love to be wrong. :)

I'm within my 180 days and I did try!!

I typed in Be our guest and it just comes up with this restaurant does not exist!

Claire :)

As someone posted earlier, they will likely do a soft opening first. I can't see any logic in posting a definitive date to start taking ADR's for BOG. The phone lines would be nothing short of gridlock and you'd have a hard time getting through.

I'm guessing they will just start taking ADR's without an official announcement or statement to let people find out by themselves.

Pure speculation on my part.

OMG, I'd throw just about any of my ADRs overboard for a chance at a BOG soft opening. I'd given up on October already. Damn you ray of hope! :lmao:

I would so love you to be correct!!

Is that scenario even a possibility :confused3;)

Claire :)

While I love it- I don't think it would be loaded without some kind of announcement. It's a big part of FLE and likely won't open without all of the other parts said to be opening in time for the holidays being ready to go...i.e. BoG taking ADRs would be a direct indication of when FLE will be opening.

I tend to agree. But then I have my moments where I think about that money maker potentially sitting there ready to rake in the dough for Disney..... and wonder if they'd find a way to open it with construction walls blocking the rest of the expansion if it was ready first.

A ride can sit there ready to go behind the walls for a while and it doesn't cost them anything......... but do the math on how many $$$$ they'd be passing up if the restaurant was ready to go and just sitting there (don't know that it is or will be..... just thinking out loud). The bean counters would be having a mass coronary.

It makes a lot of sense. Love this logic!!! :thumbsup2 It's that same logic that keeps me thinking that they aren't going to miss out on the Thanksgiving crowds and maybe even try and catch the tail end of the Halloween crowds. i.e. make a big splash when things are busy. Ultimately, you are so right...the sooner they can open things- the more $ in their pockets. Now if only they'd give us a little more info.
