The Unofficial Chatterbox Thread! Everyone is Welcome!

Well the weather turned out pretty good. It drizzled a little but that's it. I think it kept the crowds away.

In the Twin Cities we just say "94" or "35W" we don't use the "I".

We have the 62 which crosses just past downtown and leads to the southern suburbs , everyone refers to as "the crosstown". Except if you need to take the 62 northbound to the airport, then it's just "62".

During a construction phase last year they changed the off ramp to the left instead of the right for the south suburbs. Causing mass confusion during rush hour as everyone on auto pilot driving home had to jockey into position -- or got stuck heading the wrong way. They changed it back recently, gee thanks!

If you have recurrent ingrown toenails, do yourself a huge favor and see a podiatrist. Eloy had his done several years ago, lengthy appointment with numbing injection, cutting and acid treatment, but they have never gown back.

For pie crust worth it's weight in gold, keep your main ingredients cold.

Explosion diarrhea x2 is SOOOOOO much fun. Especially since my husband has been working overtime, and was gone all freaking weekend. We are trying to switch the twins to milk, and it is NOT going well. I think we are going to have to start them on lactose free milk. I did NOT want to do that. But if it helps, I am doing it. Vinny actually sprayed me with poop yesterday. Alex laughed so hard I almost aimed the butt at him.

Vinny took his first step today... Just the one. They are both so close to walking, I just dont want them to do it! But it is about that time. All my kids walked right around their first birthday.

Yikes! I hope you little ones are feeling better today.

I had such a good time this weekend!

On Saturday Pix met up with my mom and I around 6:00pm. We had just gotten over to DCA so the three of us went to the Animation Academy. This was my first time and it was alot of fun. We learned how to draw Donald Duck.

Afterwards we went to the Jazz kitchen for dinner with a bunch of other Ladies from the trip. Dinner took alomst three hours! After that my mom went back to the hotel and Pix and I "window shopped" in DTD and headed into Disneyland. We rode Space Mountain and by that time it was close to midnight.

It was really nice to see Pix and Mel. I wish I would have been able to meet up with the rest of you a few weeks ago.

Sarah... Im glad you had a good time! Wish I could have been there. Maybe I would have missed out on this bug we have going on right now!:lmao:

Seems to me its NOT the milk like I thought. They havent had it for a couple of days, and are still crapping up a storm. I am thinking it might be a stomach bug. They had massive sharts this morning after their bottles... SO I started giving them just water, and no food or anything. They have both perked up and started acting halfway normal. AND kept the water in. I hate poop. This blows.

Its a bug... Ill spare you the details, but I have it too now. :thumbsup2:rotfl2::rotfl2: Life is WONDERFUL today!

Rediscovering the marvels of my crockpot.
Yesterday it was fish - smell free!
Today I cooked up a bunch of chicken, chopped it up and now have the makings of several meals ready to grab in the freezer. Ripped the bones out, tossed them back into the crock with water, vegetables, and spices to create into broth for soup.

Good day for minimal hands on work. I think I did a little too much on the weekend. We are Car-less (being looked at today) we have been walking, walking, walking and I did a bunch of work in Eloy's class to clean up his lab on Friday. Four very busy days, out in the sun and the wind.
Nice warm days, feeling good - just a tiny bit of ache in the ankles.

Until Sunday afternoon, my body said ENOUGH!
It's like a wall of fatigue hit me.. followed by joint and muscle pain...

Today

Puttering with a few small things, walk/ stretch, rest, Tylenol... putter with a few more. Not getting much done. :rolleyes1 But part of this.. part of that... No worries, tomorrow is another day.
