I got my guys stocked on easy to prepare food, planning what to pack and about to make my super shuttle reservation.

I'm doing the same thing. Going to go grocery shopping, gotta watch the weather forecast to see what to pack, need to make my shuttle reservation.

Awesomeness! kudos to you , but I have no need to train for any mountains to climb as there are no mountains in MN.

I never really thought about MN not having mountains. Guess I just assume mountains are everywhere, since I live in them.

But then again I always think it strange that people get so excited about Mt. St. Helens. Doesn't everybody have an active volcano 30 miles from their house?

I feel that way about lakes, what do you mean you don't have a lake within walking distance? You don't have a river running thru your city either? Where are the birch and pine trees? How odd!

I've always lived near water, except for our one year in CA. I think that's why we were drawn to the ocean, driving there every chance we could.

Lake Superior, Mississippi River, small lakes, big lakes, man made and natural.
We listen to frog song in the summer and fall, we have a little lake and nature park up the street that was recently refurbished.. it's gorgeous now.

Yeah, no shortage of water around here either. Although we don't have birch trees. Lots of people have them in their yards, so they can grow here, but are not native. They are a fairly dainty tree and our wind and heavy rain/ice storms tend to break them up easily. As you get into Southern Oregon and Northern California you see more pine trees, although some of them do grow around here.

Trees in the city have become sparse thanks to dutch elm and the ash borer they've cut lots of old growth trees. Kinda sad not to have that pretty canopy of leaves above the streets.
Brighter side, less to rake up in the fall.

Pix keeps asking, so what are we doing?? I dunno?? I have no plans, go where the spirit moves me kinda trip I guess.

There are just a few.. must do this trip:

Lincoln is back, curious how/ if it's changed

Captain EO if it's open.. but if line is long I won't bother.

Try one new item or place for lunch/ dinner. I noticed on the all ears DL menus there is a new counter service in Fantasyland ( I think they sold sausages/ brats before) that sells baked potatoes.. cheaper and filling.

Haunted Mansion, I can't remember the last time I went where it WASN'T the holiday version.

Curious how the gallery works in the bank location on Main Street

I am just looking forward to getting some uninterrupted sleep. Other than that... I dont care what we do! Food in my tummy.. a few rides.. just sitting and chatting with my friends.. We told the kids today that I was going out of town. They were crushed. Oh well. They will get over it.

ok I just got caught up my flight leaves at 7:30am so I might have to do a rain check for the breakfast :/ but I will call sameyeham when I get settled and maybe meet up later that day or something on the 6th not quite sure lol I am just going with the flow since I am going solo I dont have to deal with other ppl and I am starting to get excited for my trip now

Better check your suitcase when you leave Megan, no stow aways.

I can totally picture one of your children crawling inside and daring the other "zip me in, mom won't even notice!"
