The Unofficial Chatterbox Thread! Everyone is Welcome!

Guess what I did yesterday? I fixed our leaky toilet...by myself.:woohoo: I bought a toilet repair kit, took all of the innards out of the tank, even took the tank off and replaced the gasket between the tank and toilet.

AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!

So if you ever need to repair your toilet, I'm now an expert!:thumbsup2

:cool1::cool1: OUtstanding! I have a broken toilet. Wanna come fix mine?

No.. most babies are fine going out early. Unless they have a compromised immunity system or something. We didnt take the twins out much for the first month or so, because they were a month early. Technically "preemies" But if mom is breastfeeding, then they get immunities from her. I took my older two out lots when they were first born. I didnt have a choice.. Stuff has to get done!

I heard my cousin's wife got sick from their beach outing. :scared: I think she's okay now though. That's understandable though, you gotta do what cha gotta do :)

Awesome! I don't know how. :rotfl2:

I haven't eaten yet...I'm so hungry. I don't know what to eat. The only thing I've eaten today was a tall mint chocolate frappuccino from Starbucks and a small bag of Cool Ranch Dorito's. :rotfl2:

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2: Meal of Champions!

We had Taco Bell for dinner.. Jazzy stole my burrito, and sucked out some of the beans. :scared1::lmao::lmao:

Quick...make a run for the border!

I know! I haven't met him yet. I think only my girl cousin and Emilee (her DD) and my grandma were there at the hospital when he was born. My family and I haven't met him yet.

My grandma came back and started *witching* to my mom about how my guy cousin and his wife were doing with the baby. :sad2: I think that's typical of family, huh? :sad2:

I heard that my cousin and his wife took the baby to the beach 2 weeks after he was born. I'm not sure if that's good or bad......don't babies have to build up their immune system first and get various shots? I have no clue... :confused3

I took DS to Costco when he was 3 days old. We went to buy a diaper bag, they didn't have them anymore, but we bought two nice recliner chairs.:lmao: Oh and he survived. Actually, when DS was 5 days old I went to work to pickup my paycheck. I took both of the kids, my boss was there and insisted that we all go out for lunch. I was freaking out, thinking what am I going to do if my 6yo starts misbehaving and my 5 day old starts crying. :rotfl2: It was a fancy restaurant, but they both did just fine.

It's also a well known fact that grandmothers have no idea what they are talking about.:rotfl2:

Okies, I'm gonna run. I need to rinse and wash my hair because I just colored it red. Talk to you guys later :)

I think my gma just likes to complain and gossip about everyone in our family. :sad2::sad2: She's 80 something years old, so we don't expect her to change. She's the gma that lives with my parents. It's so easy for people who don't have kids to judge those who DO have kids.

Sure, let me swing by Home Depot and pick up the kit. Once I figured it out, it's really kinda easy. I can't believe that people pay hundreds of dollars to have a plumber repair a toilet. $20 from Costco, about 1 hour and it is fixed.

I used my new tool kit that DH got me for my birthday. Except i had to go dig in the garage for a giant pipe wrench. I'm thinking of getting myself a tool belt and some pants that show my butt crack to make it official.:thumbsup2

red?? woooohooo ;)

Noah was a week old, we went to mall of america...... without a stroller.. Eloy decided he would just carry him. yep never again! He was exhausted long before we got anywhere just carrying the little bundle of squirming, screaming joy.

Ladies, I'm tired and headed to bed. Happy Dreams to you all.:hippie::cloud9:

:lmao::lmao:NOOOOO!!! We have to take a stroller everywhere! Them babies get HEAVY.. FAST!!

Have I mentioned lately how excited I am to go to Disneyland??

Hi everyone. I'm sick  A few days ago my lungs felt kinda warm, like when you're running but I ignored it and went to the gym. On the way home I felt for sure something was wrong. By the time I got in the house every part of me hurt. Then the next few days my whole body was sore, I had a cough and my lungs felt like I had been running too long.

finally last night I had some really spicy chicken from the chinese restaurant and my chest felt normal! :thumbsup2 But then I woke up this morning and I feel all stuffed up again. I have no energy to walk to the doctors but this is the strangest cold I have ever had. I assume it's a cold because I don't have a fever so shouldn't be a flu.

Last night I had a dream that Catwoman and I were chasing Michael Jackson in a night club. He zipped down a firemans pole, I followed and I went so fast down the pole it scared me. Then catwoman jumped for the pole but missed and fell to the bottom. Michael asked if she was okay and then said "Don't pretend you didn't fall because we all saw you." I woke myself up laughing so hard and then I coughed. Catwoman looked so funny when she fell.

I admire your imagination.

:cutie:

My bout with the flu started with a cough, sore throat and "hit by a truck" feeling. The fever didn't start until a few days later. Week later, still coughing.. ugh! Hope you feel better soon.
