DH GOT THE JOB!!!!! HE WAS OFFERED THE JOB AT THE CHEMICAL PLANT IN LONGVIEW AS RAILROAD TRACK MANAGER AND IS ON HIS WAY TO BE DRUG TESTED AND TO SCHEDULE A PHYSICAL! HE STARTS NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!!

He's totally thrilled with the opportunity. Even if it is a bit of a headache to plan.

He figures if the district is willing to pay (air fare plus $3000 for the training/ meals/housing PLUS a stipend for the two weeks for "his time") for training out of state , they are more likely to keep him around (good investment).

Got my 5 stitches removed from my chin this morning. Nurse said I was healing really well. Hopefully the scar won't be too bad. Plus it's kind of on the bottom of my chin and not real visible. One of those times it's good to be 5 foot nothing!

Anybody doing anything fun for the weekend? We were going to head to the lot at the beach and camp, but decided against it. So now we're cleaning windows (inside and out) Saturday morning and setting up the pool. Sunday DH is taking the kids mx riding. DH wants to catch up on yard work on Monday since he will be starting work on Wednesday.

Well I'm going on my annual Mom and Sister trip. We are leaving on Sunday, and going to see my Dad and brother first in San Diego and Oceanside. Then we are going to visit my Stepdad's grave and my Mom's brother in Banning, and then we are going to DL! We are staying at the Grand. This will be so nice for my Mom. She can just sit in the lobby and people watch if she wants. We also rented her a scooter for the trip. I can't wait for them to do things that they have never seen. And need I not forget to mention, that on Thursday, we are going to Club 33!!!

awesome! Im glad you are healing well!! We are headed to Grandmas house for the weekend. I cant wait. My mom has a nice little yard we can let the kids out and play, and not worry to much.. everything is shiny and new for my kids to destroy. Plus... I am down to my last case of diapers, and its time for a stock up... grandma style. I told her I had tons of coupons, so not to get anything till we got there.. And I think she is planning on taking the kids to the movies.

Last night I had trouble sleeping. I had a stomach ache from the kabob I ate for dinner. Less than 30 minutes after I ate it, I had to run to the bathroom because I didn't feel good. It doesn't make sense to me.....I've been eating it for almost a year and nothing bad ever happened until now. My bf said maybe the herbs in the meat weren't fresh or maybe their cucumber yogurt wasn't fresh. I had a stomach ache and kept trying to sleep but couldn't. Finally, close to 4am I get to sleep. I called in late this morning to work and am leaving in a few minutes. I checked my e-mails just now from home and I have lots to do for my customers today.

Yuk! I hope you feel better today!

DBF and I are going to Glen Helen for the 1st round of the outdoor nationals! Whoo Hoo! I'm excited. I think the outdoors are so much funner than the SX because you get to be right down on the track.

We should be busier then crap today too - graduation (lots of people in town)...Memorial Day weekend (lots of people in town)...and our annual Trappers Day event (lots of people in town) So needless to say - there will be a lot more then our standard few thousand in the town I work at - and John's store should get crushed too

Hi guys! My trainging at the Legal's Desk is going okay. It's just so boring and repetative. (sp). Oh well at least I'm learning new things.

Well DBF and I booked another cruise last night. We leave June 19th from Long Beach. We got our tickets for $149 each, that's $50 cheaper then this past weekend! And this is the first one back to Ensenada. We are way excited.

I might go to DCA this weekend with my little sister. I'm not sure yet and we are still trying to plan things out. The problem is that she still has the 2fer ticket and she would have to go this weekend before it expires. She also has a swim competition so I'm not sure how that's going to work out. We may or may not go at this point.

It's really hot. I don't like the hot weather.


Oh and I can't believe the Lakers lost yesterday by 3 points!!!

Hello,

I am online for a just a quick post and then it's off to Costco. My mom and my little sister will go too. I wanted to get Jack's Famous Salsa.....I don't have a clue as to why it's famous but it's GOOD! Best of all, it does not burn my tongue!


After work I took my little sister to the farmer's market. We got homemade tamales that were really really good. They even have pineapple flavored ones, which I know Shawna would never touch with a 10 ft pole! J/k!

We also got a small bag of Kettle Korn. A small bag had so much popcorn in it. Yummy! I also stopped by my fav. hummus stand and got Tzatziki (customer, sea salt, yogart, oil, garlic, spices, lemon juice). It's really really good and tastes good with pita chips or pita bread. It even tastes good with tortilla chips.

Do you guys have anything exciting planned for the Memorial Day weekend?

I forgot to make "batch" for E's dialysis.. oops!
Running on pre-bagged fluid tonight.
We had talked about moving dialysis out to the living room, we only have one AC unit. The living room could be freezing cold, but the bedroom would still be muggy hot. We had two days in a row of 90+ temps, still low in humidity. It was awful to sit back in the bedroom for 3.5 hours, drippy, sweltering and crabby. UGH!

Since the base unit wasn't full of 60 Liters of fluid today, I went ahead and did some rearranging.

Pulled the machine out into the living room, moved the love seat and the sofa.
Did I mention we have a tiny living room? Our total 2 bedroom, one bath apartment sq footage is 750 ft
Creativity prevails!!

Moved his recliner out to living room too.

Good Morning!!!

Today we have dance, I have a million sewing projects to do for recital and then Morgan performs tonight at a benefit dinner for a family that goes to the dance studio. This little girl is 4 years old and looks and acts perfectly normal but she needs a HEART TRANSPLANT They just discovered something was wrong with her heart and now the family has to move to CA to be closer to the UCLA hospital where she will have the surgery. This is so sad. Makes me realize no matter what has happened to me, no matter how bad I have things I am really BLESSED to live such a wonderful life with healthy children. I hope we can laugh tonight and the big girls and Morgan are going to dance for her and the crowd so I hope we bring some much needed money and some joy to their lives.

Ahoy there Mateys! Busy, busy day. Worked on tearing apart and scrubbing the back porch and deck. Also finished cleaning out the trailer from last weekends camping trip. Did housework and now I'm pooped.


I'm going into work for a few hours tomorrow morning and then grocery shopping. We have some friends coming over for a bbq tomorrow evening.

Monday I had decided will be my weed the garden day. My radishes are about ready to pick (actually they are still a bit small), but I have picked a few and there is enough to eat. Probably another week or so and they will be big enough to pick. I really need to thin out the radishes and turnips. I let the kids plant way to many of them in each row.

I'm really bored at home today but there isn't anything exciting to do. I woke up around noon and then dropped off a b-day present at my cousin's house. Her birthday was on Monday but she just came back for the long weekend. She loved the gift

My bf and I are just relaxing at home. I put away my sweaters in a large storage container. It helped to create more room for my pants. I watched Howl's Moving Castle again and am now on the computer.

So how is everyone's day going?
