Yes, thanks for asking! She was just updating me on her current health status (which hasn't changed). But thankfully the doctor told her she won't start to feel better for 6 months to a year.. I'm so happy he told her this because everday she is so concerned as to why she isn't feeling better. Please keep her in your thoughts!

Seriously, I'd have to agree with Chelsea Handler on that one. There are a lot of people who show up at all the different awards shows and I can't help wondering why.

I'm sorry to hear that she's still so sick, but I'm glad that the doctor is optimistic about her condition. I'll definitely keep praying for her. Please keep us updated.

Pretty dresses rock! I love how Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie's pictures are right next to each other. I love Natalie Portman and Jennifer Aniston's dresses the best, too. Angelina's dress is nice, but kinda blah.

Speaking of delicious food- I have decided to give up sweet things for Lent (40 days.. What am I thinking? ). Now, I don't know if anyone celebrates Lent but even if you don't and you just want an Anti- Sweet Stuff buddy for a little more than a month, let me know! Not sure if I can do this alone.. DFiance says he'll do it but he's been known to sneak a cookie from the kitchen when I'm not looking..

Now, back to the Oscars!

Here's Penelope Cruz's dress. I think that it looks pretty from the front, but somehow I don't really care for it from the side with the train fanned out and everything. I think that it'd make a great wedding dress, though.

Honestly, I wasn't that wild about Amy Adams' dress, either. I think that the black lines didn't do a thing for it. The necklace was quite pretty, but it didn't really go with that dress.


Vanessa Hudgens' dress was pretty, but I agree, the white fluff ruined the dress. I hope it's not tissue paper!!!

I'm not familiar with all the Mardi Gras stuff either. I only know about king cake because they talked about it on the Food Network. Here's what I found on neworleansonline.com :

Thanks for the info on King Cake-- that actually sounds like fun, but I'm never too keen on having things in food. Like a lot of girls I know just got proposed to. Their DFiance's put the ring in like cake, a drink, etc.. for some reason it just grosses me out! Plus, how dare a man put such an expensive ring in ice cream! I'd have to get it cleaned first,
