I'll go with you to Medieval Times! That place rocks!

I've heard good things about Le Cellier but that it's almost impossible to get a reservation there. I know the Liberty Tree Tavern is family style but is it really expensive? I thought it was pay one price and it was pretty much all you can eat. That's perfect for my DBf cause he's like a bottomless pit! I'm not sure if we'll do character dining since all the characters will be wandering around on the ship. I mention Chef Mickey's ever time but the DBf's been there and says he doesn't want to spend the money on it. Personally, I think he's just to lazy to get up early on vacation!

Still no signs of Elvis!

I would definitely try for Le Cellier. As far as Liberty Tree is concerned, I honestly don't remember how expensive it was.. probably not too much, but we were in college and had absolutely no money. We were used to splitting the chicken finger basket from the walkup resturants in Disney.. so I think we were just a little shocked and left.

about your DBF! My DFiance's the same way.. he can eat and eat and eat.. I get kids meals wherever we go. He gets like giant combos and still doesn't gain any weight! It's magic.

It's $29 per person for dinner and lunch you order off the menu so the price varies. $30 is actually a great price for a Disney buffet!

Thanks! That's definitely not a bad price at all and he can eat food to his heart's content. We'd probably go there for dinner. We always stop at Pecos Bill's for lunch at MK! It's tradition. As are the Dole Whips! Last time there was no CM at the Swiss Family Treehouse so we got Dole Whips and walked through while we ate. Good times!

Oh and I forgot to mention, the knights at Medieval Times (at least the one in Jersey!) are GORGEOUS. The Black & White Knight There were all these high schoolers there, sitting in the Green Knight's section, cheering for the B&W Knight just because he was so cute. And then they lined up to take pictures with him! I have pictures I took that he's in because he was directly across from our section. When I upload them, I'll post them here!

They announced the Knights one by one and the first three were just getting cuter & cuter. But the B&W Knight...wowza!! The Red Knight was a cutie too but I don't have any pictures of him. It was almost as if I waited til the B&W Knight was facing us and I snapped a pic. I don't even have pictures of OUR knight. I'll prob have them up by Wednesday!! I just need to be sure the DBf is out of the room when I'm cropping close ups of the B&W Knight!

And the Green Knight looked exactly like my ex from high school! I spent most of the night trying to figure out if it was him or not!

I glad that you had a great birthday! Congrats on the new relationship. I'm glad that things seem to be going well. How did you guys meet?

We met online (Plenty of Fish); I think it was fate. I had put my profile up the day before, and he had just put his up again after a bad experience. He e-mailed me this really cheesy e-mail, but something told me to reply. We met 3 days after that first e-mail, and things have been going really, really well.

Starr, congrats on the new relationship!!! Keep us updated! I'm assuming he's a hottie and Unicorn Club worthy, of course!

He's the most adorable, considerate guy you'll ever meet. He made me supper yesterday; fettuccine alfredo and garlic bread. He even put candles on the table! He's always asking if I'm comfortable, if I need anything...he's just great. He does have 2 kids, who are 5 and 6, but I haven't met them yet which is very understandable since we've not yet known each other for 2 weeks! That part freaks me out a bit; I was only 20 and 21 when these kids were born! I love kids, though, and I really, really hope this whole relationship works out. I will definitely keep you guys posted!

I've been doing Marriott training for most of the day. I'm now a Marriott expert! Not really but I do get great rates because I'm a "certified specialist."

And our rep from Universal came in and brought us Dunkin Donuts. I'm about to go steal one now...

It seems to be a rough time for us Unicorns recently.. but us girls will make the best of it and remember everything always works out.

On a more mushy note: I'm so happy that we have the UC, it's so nice to come here and have a little safe haven (away from the scary threads on the CB) and just chat and forget about our troubles. You guys are the best!

Rora- Thank you for your kind words. You really helped to brighten my day. I agree that it's so nice to have a safe haven here on the UC thread. It gets pretty nasty out there! Maybe we should make it an official club rule to never talk about politics or anything controversial here on the UC thread.



Honu- I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. I really hope that you feel better soon. If you haven't already done so, try drinking some ginger tea and see how it works for your migraine. I'll be praying for you.



Jenny- I'm glad that you and your DBF had a great time at Medieval Times. Pictures of hot knights would be greatly appreciated! Oh, and congrats on becoming a certified specialist for the Marriott.

Girls, I think some major fun is in order. After all we've been going through, I think that we definitely deserve to have a good time to take our minds off of our troubles. We've brought up a lot of fun ideas in the past that we've never gone through with -- book club, siggie/tag redecorating party, Unicorn vacation, and other things that I can't even remember right now. I think that we should pick one of these things (or pick all of these things) and have some fun. What do you guys think?

I'm sorry to hear that you ladies are going through rough times right now. It's good to know we can come on the UC thread and have support from each other. This is my favorite thread on the DIS!

I was lucky enough to have yesterday off. Good thing too because it was snowing when I woke up. I went to see The Wrestler. That was a DBf pick. I don't know what all the hype was about cause I didn't think it was that great! It baffles me why Marisa Tomei is up for an Oscar for that. On the other hand, Mickey Rourke was good but no way was he better than some of the other people nominated. I'm rooting for Frank Langella.

Ok, I'm done with the movie talk (for now). My DBf wants to be a director and he talks about movies all the time, so it's rubbing off on me!

I have a work crush! His name is Alek and he is GORGEOUS. He is from Sweeden or some place like that and he seriously is the most attractive man I've ever seen. WOW! Shh.. don't tell DFiance.

Starr: I am so so sorry. Nothing hurts worse than having someone break your trust. He didn't deserve you anyways if he would write a cruel text.. Regardless, it's not easy. Take some time for yourself: treat yourself to a manicure/pedicure, spa day, mini-shopping spree, etc. The little things somtimes take the pain away. It just takes time.. I know you'll find the right person!
