Glad it went well!! Gumby is a pretty cute name for a horse! I always wanted a horse.. either a big white one or an appalousa (spelling?). Don't think that will ever happen!

My old horse is a palomino quarter horse. She lives back where my parents do and is a school horse for my old trainer. I really miss her.

Gumby is a great name for a horse!

A big white horse would be cool, but they're really hard to keep clean!

So, what is everyone doing for the weekend?

I'm going to see my friend's band play tonight. Then relaxing for most of the weekend. I'm riding Gumby again on Sunday.

Thanks Tigger! I'm going to the GI doc next Wednesday to see if they'll do some scans of my insides to see what's wrong. I was tired and can't ride for as long as I used to, but it was still a good ride.

I'm glad you you were OK during your riding lesson. That's great you're going to be able to see the doctor soon.

Woohoo!! Happy Friday, everyone!!

So, what is everyone doing for the weekend?

I'm going to be doing some food shopping for Turkey day. My family and I also plan to start looking for some more Christmas decorations (for outside and inside). We're thinking of putting up the Christmas decorations this weekend. Mostly, I just want to relax this weekend. It has been a crazy week.

I am all for a relaxing weekend, too. I am sitting here waiting for dh to get to a save spot in his game (boys and their toys- got a PS3 last weekend).Then we are going for pizza and a little shopping- love stores being open later!
honu- DD had a brief stint riding. She was all for it, got grandma to pay to horse camp, and she was so scared. She was staying at my mom's and I told my mom to leave her at camp- too bad! She toughed it out but is still scared!
tig- I can't wait to decorate. The kids keep asking me when- day after TGiving!

OOh! He's done. Pizza! Later, ladies!

Ugh...we got our first snow of the year today!!! I got to start my weekend by brushing off my car. Don't get me wrong, I love where I live and know that living in such a climate has given me excellent driving skills, but it's such a pain in the butt!

Our Thanksgiving here was last month, so unfortunately I don't have any yummy food to look forward to this week. Wait, scratch that; I do have a Christmas party to go to on the 29th, so I guess all is good!

Hi, starrzone! Sorry to hear about the troublesome snow. But, hey, if it snows hard enough, you get to stay home and make snowmen and have snowball fights! Well.....at least that's what I would do. Yeah, I still haven't completely grown up.

Hi guys. I haven't had the internet for something like 36 hours. It's been torture.

I, too, have been preparing for Turkey Day. Our fam. is getting together the Sat following T-Day so here at home on Thanksgiving will just be our little family of 3, w/maybe my parents and a Honey Spiral Ham. Eb is w/his mom this year.

I am stressing over Christmas shopping. Are any of you DONE yet? I haven't bought one single thing. Except my Christmas cards, which are addressed and awaiting stamps. And they're cute too (made 'em from Photopass pix through Snapfish.com)

Tommorow, laundry and hopefully, shopping w/o the kids!

My riding is going great! I'm riding a thoroughbred named Gumby. He's sooooooooo cute! He'll look very good with my lavender show clothes. He he he. He's a 22 year old retired jumper. Just my speed and just my size. I love him bunches. He is a bit odd in the fact that he doesn't seem to like treats as much as my horse does, but I'll work with him on that. Thanks for asking! I get to ride him again tomorrow. That'll be the last time until I come back from Thanksgiving. Sigh. I wish I had the energy to ride more. But twice a week is good enough for now.

If everyone could kind of keep a good thought. I'm waiting for my MRI to be read by a doctor in Houston. I've been waiting for 6 weeks so far. I'm going batty! I guess with the hurricanes and other obligations he's kind of backed up in that department, so I'm going to have to keep waiting, which is soooooooooooooooo hard. I need y'all to keep me occupied so I won't jump out of my skin until the results come back.

julez- Glad to have you back! That's great that you've got the internet back. It's so hard to live without the internet, isn't it?


honu- I hope you get your MRI results soon. Waiting around and not knowing what's going to happen is tough. Hang in there. I pray that everything will be all right. I'll try my best to keep you in good spirits. I'll start by posting some pictures that I took on my trip to Williamsburg, Virginia last year. I hope they remind you of the fun times that you have when you go horseback riding.

Yeah, that's it! We must be twins that were separated at birth. I bet I know what happened. You were really born in Hawaii, but a sea turtle carried you off to Washington. That's probably why love turtles so much and took frequent trips to Hawaii.
