It's raining here. I wish it was raining men, but alas, nope, it's raining just plain old liquid sunshine! Sigh. I'm missing my dog walk today.

I'm a little nervous today because I'm having my first riding lesson since I had that mysterious vomiting attack last time. I don't want it to happen again. Sigh. I hope my body can handle this.

Well, since it's exactly one week before Thanksgiving, I've been scouring my recipe files, cookbooks and the internet looking for recipes for my recipe thread. I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving! What do you guys look forward to eating on Turkey day?

Last class before TGiving break! Hurray! I also don't work this weekend. I am going to be a nerd and read (for fun). I am reading "The Pliiars of Earth".
Tig- Paper is up to 10 pages and needs to be 12. It's not due until 12/9, so I have time!
Rora- I'd love to stay, especially since it is warm inside!
honu- Hope riding goes well!

Oohh, Thanksgiving!! Well recently the idea of meat has been a major turnoff. I'm not a big meat person anyways but turkey just doesn't sound appetizing..

I'm reaaalllly into the sides. Sweet Potatos, Mashed Potatos, Corn, Greenbeans.. YUM!!
And of course.. pumpkin pie!!

Honu: I hope your lesson is really good. Don't worry! Everything will be fine!

Paint: papers suck.. at least your almost done!!

Turkey is okay...I love my mom's homemade stuffing, sweet potato souffle, homemade mashed potatoes (boxed makes me gag), and green bean casserole. The best thing, however, is the desserts!

Rora- Mmmm! I look forward to the sides and pumpkin pie, too! I'm also looking forward to drowning my turkey and mashed potatoes in gravy.


By the way, I forgot to mention that I recently made my first pumpkin dish of the season. The canned pumpkin (finally) went on sale, so I stocked up. The first thing I made were pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I posted a picture of them on my recipe thread, but I'll share it here, too.

No, we haven't been able to figure out what happened. Someone on another message board I go to suggested that I may have gall bladder problems and should get it checked. So I'll go work on that. Apparently people with my disease tend to have gallbladder problems. Otherwise, it just might be weird hormonal fluctuations.

Thanks Rora! It was good. I rode a nice thoroughbred named Gumby. I'm going to ride him again on Sunday. He was really cute.

Thanks Tigger! I'm going to the GI doc next Wednesday to see if they'll do some scans of my insides to see what's wrong. I was tired and can't ride for as long as I used to, but it was still a good ride.

Glad it went well!! Gumby is a pretty cute name for a horse! I always wanted a horse.. either a big white one or an appalousa (spelling?). Don't think that will ever happen!
