The Unbearable Wait July 16th 2007

So, ummm. . . vacation is under the 27th day wait mark, but the wait is becoming harder and harder to deal with.

My fiancee and myself will be spending our first week together as H and W in the world, and both of us are having a hard time with waiting. Now, obviously, we're both excited for the actual wedding and all that, but with the extra stress that is added onto a couple trying to plan and put together such a large event, we're both extremely excited for the moment in which we are able to step on that plane and officially have a week in which we don't have to worry about anything other than making it to our ADRs on time.

Add on top of that the fact that both of our places of employment have becoming more and more stressful as the time goes by, including the lack of any form of air conditioning at either, and, well, we're really ready for a week off.

I don't have a point to this at all, other than needing a moment to remind myself that I only have 26 days 17 hours 50 minutes and a few seconds until my plane takes off to a place with no responsibility.

We will be getting there just a day before you, so I know how anxious you are right now! I am so excited i can hardly wait. Of course, I do not have the stress of planning a wedding on me!

Actually, I'll be a little sad to see July 16 come - that means MY vacation will be over.....

We're getting married in Wisconsin, which is hot enough already, so we're prepared to be doing a good bit of sweating when we get down to Florida. I'm from SC, so I'm used to the heat and humidity, but she's born and raised WI, so, well. . . yeah.

And as far as the wedding goes, we're actually really far along. Just went over our checklist for the next 3 and a half weeks, and we're looking really good.

But yeah, definite excitement. Final documents came yesterday too!

OOh you sound all prepared for the wedding - how exciting!!

Lucky for you you sound prepared for the heat too - I am so not prepared for the heat. We actually had hailstones here today at lunchtime!! Grrr!! Summer just seems to be refusing to arrive in Scotland this year!

Oh well I'll just need to soak up the Florida heat and bring some of it back with me!
