My SIL told me about an episode of rich bride poor bride where the groom was a complete groomzilla. I just finished watching the episode and found it so outrageous I thought I would share it with everyone. It takes about 25 minutes to watch and is in 6 parts. If you have the time it is well worth it. Just when I thought dramarama and family dysfunction couldn't get any worse, I saw this show! It said it is not available in our country but I think I saw it. Is that the one where they groom booked the reception in a campus bar and didnt' tell the bride? Then he spent a lot of money on winter decorations and a photo booth that he agreed not to get but got anyway? If that's the one then I know. I couldn't believe what I was watching. I also couldn't beleve that she went through with the wedding.

I saw that episode too (link wouldn't work so I hope its that one)... he really pissed me off because he kept telling her what she wanted was out of the budget but then went and bought things after they both agreed no... like the photobooth! Luckily the bar looked pretty good, but when they went there the day before and it reeked of beer and had cups and crap all over I was like OMG I would totally leave him. It was like having your reception in a frat house!!! and when they did a site visit she said, "well, I don't know, we'll have to talk about it..." and he said, "well, I already paid for it." OMG. serious groomzilla!!

I've seen a few episodes with Groomzillas. I told my DSil and DFBil to watch Rich Bride/Poor Bride since DFBil is being a Groomzilla(wants to cut his entire family out of the Wedding Party and they're the majority of their bridal party. There's also the Miami themed one where the groom was designing the bride's dress, wanted it Equestrian like, made the bride & bridal party walk over a plexiglass stage over the pool(which looked not wide enough to walk down to me. That poor bride could have wound up falling in the pool walking down the isle). There was another episode where a fw groom walks in and tries to help the Bride pick out her gown.

I saw that one too and he was atemate about the photo booth and the college bar.

I watched a few episodes of rich bride poor bride for the first time last weekend, and let me just say "OMG" to all three episodes! Until I saw this show, I thought I was the mother of the bride, but now I know I am really the wedding planner/keeper of the budget. If my daughter EVER acted like these brides, I would die of embarrassment! In two episodes, the brides wanted everything for free...one was able to save $100 on a dress by bullying the sales lady. She whined/*****ed about the cost of everything, and was rude to her planner. The other bride was so cheap that she wouldn't spring for hotel rooms for her family.,..they slept in a tent on the roof of a building! I turned the show off when she started setting the tent up. I can only imagine what a man with this type of attitude could do...

omg I forgot about the tent episode!!!!! yeah that was really bad. Did you see the "I don't care" bridezilla? the one who had a parasol instead of flowers
