We're super excited about this trip after a really pants year for both of us. (Including almost having to cancel as we lost our jobs after the company we worked for went bust)

When:
24th September - 8th October 2010

Staying:
Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive :yay:

Parks:
Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Seaworld and possibly Kennedy Space Centre.
Can't Miss Attractions:
Halloween Horror Nights, this is essentially the entire reason we are going at this time of year. Plus the weather and crowds aren't unattractive either ;)
WWoHP, was talking to someone just yesterday who had been and had nothing but positive things to say about it :cool1:
Food and Wine Fest, really looking forward to wandering around the world showcase during this. :goodvibes
Sum of all thrills: I'm super excited to try this, as when booking DLP last year the travel agent had told us they had one there. Needless to say we were very disappointed when we found out that they didn't!

and that's all for now...:goodvibes

Great pre trip report :thumbsup2
Sounds like you're going to have a lot of fun. look forward to reading all about it!

Your plans sound great, we are going that time of year also and looking forward to the things you have mentioned.
Have fun planning, glad it worked out for you to be able to go.

We will not be doing MNSSHP but it will be on whilst we are there. I'm not sure how it will affect our trip, whether we want to avoid due to the shorter hours and more people being in the park that day or whether there will be less people in the park and give us time to go pop to DHS for a quick RnR or ToT before heading back to our hotel that day but just for my own reference these are the dates.
September Saturday 25, Tuesday 28, Thursday 30
October Friday 1, Sunday 3, Thursday 7

Halloween Horror Nights dates
September: Friday 24, Saturday 25, Thursday 30
October: Friday 1, Saturday 2, Sunday 3, Thursday 7
I'm not entirely sure how we're going to do HHN yet, I'm looking at the Frequent Fear Pass $74.99 as well as the Stay & Scream $34.99. Since my friend and I are big Universal fans and will probably spend the majority of our time here we could go numerous days, in which case the FFP would be the better option. We will not attempt to go during Friday/Saturdays.

I'm currently creating a park hours table for my trip.

I've now bought all my park tickets! :dance3:
The only thing I need to buy now is the Halloween Horror Nights pass, but still not certain what I'm doing with that one. :confused3
I'm also buying some leftover $ from a friend of a friend for a very good deal!
It's all coming together nicely and I'm so excited! :yay:

(I've been planning so much for this trip, I haven't done any for next week when I go to Dublin! :rolleyes1

My email was read out on this weeks email show, oh my freaking squee! :yay:

*ahem*

I've now got all my toiletries sorted. This week = spending moneys and then I'm getting my suitcase down next week ready to pack. I can't wait! :cool1:

Sounds great!
I did the Sum of all Thrills this time, it's pretty cool and uses the same technology at Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (which is also cool!).

You probably already know, but it's in Innoventions, but isn't mentioned on the map at all :)

:goodvibes

Not long to go now. Yes the Forbidden Journey in Harry Potter land is absolutely amazing. can't wait to go back next year.

Hope you have the best time ever, especially after losing your jobs.

Thanks folks! I'm so excited now. Just three days left of work and then I'm off to escape from the real world (I literally won't even turn my phone on once whilst there. I just know work will try and call me about every little thing! :headache:)

I've printed a whole bunch of vouchers ready to save us some serious squidlies on our shopping/edibles.

This week is going to be so slo-ow!
