OH my!!!! I can't beleive how many are listed for the same day with in minutes of each other. I'm not that bad at all. We all tweak, but I cancel as soon as I know.

It is almost comedy to be following that thread.. do you follow it?

Tim are you looking for breakfast or dinner at 1900 PF? How about Akershus instead? I liked that place last trip. I have 1900 PF booked for the 9th, but I trying to decide if we want to pay OOP for it. I think you leave the day before though.

I was looking for an early dinner Monday 12/6. Or lunch or early dinner on 12/6 for CRT.

I am also looking for some type of early dinner character meal (non park) on Friday 12/3 for 7 people.

Does someone really have that many ADR's at once with times literally minutes apart from another? And then be brazen enough to post them here on the disboards? If I had that many ADR's, there's no way I'd be posting it here. The song from Beauty & the Beast comes to mind...the one where the villagers are whipped up into a frenzy to go after the Beast! "Light your torch! Mount your horse!"

Whenever I've tweaked my ADR's, it always pops up that I have another one at a time very close to the new one so I cancel the old and keep the new.

Uh, if it's real, then I'll be doing this because that is a hot topic! Multiple ADR's = trouble on the dis!

Just wanted to pop in and say in honor of your little girl and a favorite patient of mine, I stopped off to support the MAW foundation with the free ice cream at Coldstone Creamery. Yummy.

Keep checking daily. I read somewhere once, that all the cancellations aren't released till the next morning. Not sure if that is true, but you could check early each morning.

Tim I searched that day for character meals and Garden Grove at the Swolphin has a 5 PM open and it has characters. Most people don't think about this one because it isn't on the dining plan

i did the same with my dad at a graduation. we played trivial pursuit on my iphone

You are so right - this is going to turn into a huge debate like the mugs, saving tables and strollers for "big" kids.

I sometimes will have 1 or 2 that overlap because I make them, then check with Joe. But I cancel RIGHT AWAY. I don't make 482 willy nilly and then tweak, tweak, tweak. I can see a few like that, sure, gotta see if everyone in your traveling party is on the same page wanting that restaurant, but that is a LOT.

I sure hope you get your ressie Tim. Try searching for a party size that is 1 bigger, sometimes that helps, you wouldn't think it would matter, but it does! - and you can just tell them at the door it's for 3. People do that a lot b/c of the weirdness of Disney's ADR system.

One thing is the MODS are all over that thread. Any non-cancelation posts get deleted almost immediately.

Holy cow, it IS a real person! Wow, that's a lot of reservations, right? Weird. Hmmm, maybe she's a schitzaphrenic and is scheduling meals for each of her personalities! I'm totally kidding of course!

I was reading one of those ADR threads awhile ago where people were admitting they'd make numerous reservations for the same time (like 3 different restaurants) and then just pick one the day they were there! And some of them even said that they didn't care at all if someone else couldn't get a reservation because of them doing this. They actually said it's their vacation, who cares about anyone else, they'll do whatever they want. Um, my mom would be appalled! She raised me and my sister to have something called manners.

Ditto Tim on booking an ADR for 1 size bigger. I didn't know you could do that till the Grand Floridian concierge got us a table for 1900 Park Fare that way. Apparently the system will not book an ADR for a tabletop 6 for a party of 5. Weird, right? Anywho, good luck!

I'm in the shock/comedy stage now. I think I may have skipped a few stages though! It's still pretty unbelievable.

You should have Juliana call for those ADR's! What CM would say no to a sweet little girl! That could work you know! Imagine how adorable it would be..."hello Disney, this is Julianna. I do remember you TR with the characters. You've got the right idea! My family and I were at Disney nearly the same time you all went and ate at pretty much all the same places! And ya, we're big into breakfast at Disney. Our plan is usually to arrive at a particular park with an ADR before it opens. That way you get amazing pics of an uncrowded park, breakfast and characters all at once. It's genius I tell you!

Yup, we're only 14 days away. I can't believe it, it seemed so far off months and months ago and here it's only 2 weeks away now! My DD's are counting the days. OK, so are DH and myself! Can't wait!
