Ummm well the stankees just clinched a playoff birth tonight by beating Toronto.

I actually wish that the Sox made the playoffs.... it is more exciting when it is NY vs Boston.

There has been a lot of catching up going on around here lately....

We are excited to go to MVMCP but the only day we could fit it in was the same day that GKTW has their Christmas party. Hopefully, we will be able to make it to the GKTW party someday.

Okay, I'm trying to get caught up! The bedroom looks lovely from what we can see. Nice paint job. I always hated pink as a teen/young adult but it just worked for Tessa's room. She's a pink girl. (Just to spite the pinkness of the world I painted Phoebe's aquamarine)
I would say if the tea party still isn't full, that's a good sign, but you already knew that. It's shaping up to be a very fun trip. Once in a lifetime.

I would of took pics of Juliana's new bedroom set and freshly painted ceiling and walls but I think it is a little weird to post a picture of my daughters bedroom on the internet. Am I losing my mind?

Juliana is all about pink. Everything has to be pink... but you already knew that! Glad you got to take out your 'love' of pink on Phoebe's room!

Besides me checking the ADR site a few times a day, I'm kinda in the dark about any more specific plans.





RANT ALERT::: So I've been checking the December Canceled ADR thread for a month or so and I think I know why there aren't any ADRs open. It is because people book numerous ADRs for the same time. I guess now with the online system it is even easier to do. I mean how can someone's first post on the DIS be on the December canceled thread? I've seen it numerous times. Or someone canceling 3 ADRs for the same day same time. I guess there is no way to monitor this but it is very annoying. RANT OVER::

Haha right on! But for a minor league team the red sox did pretty well this year! If they didn't have half their roster on the DL they may have made a run at the playoffs. I guess it's back to "There's always next year"

Your PTR, rant on and I hear ya. I guess I'm the type of person that doesn't think I need more than one reservation at a time, knowing that other people are wanting a little piece of the magic.

Actually when I was doing ADRs for my Sept trip...the Online system would not let me book one without canceling another for a 3 Hour time span of each other???

I had an ADR for Dec, but I wanted to change the time. I went onto the online system and tried to make a new reservation. It said I already had one (at the same restaurant even) for two hours later. It asked if I wanted to switch my reservation time or make a new one. Like a good little DISer, I had it cancel my existing reservation, but I believe it would have allowed me to keep both.

you are totally justified to be ranting over this! people shouldn't be making reservations that they absolutely cannot make, especially when others don't have any. but i have to admit, i've made breakfast reservations that i couldn't even get up to make

The Sox did do a good job this year especially with their injuries (Sox injuries), but every team has injuries. (Yankees injuries)

I changed a few that were close in time too and it asked me whether I wanted to keep or cancel the original ADR. I can see people having multiple accounts and holding ADRs till they figure out a schedule. Seeing how some of the people around here act (no one specifically and none of YOU people), I can see them holding on to these ADRs till the weeks or days before their trips.

Tim, I am guilty! I have 2 ADR's for the day I have planned for Epcot. They are about an hour 1/2 apart. I'm not sure which I want right now. And doing research on both places. Also the one I am leaning towards is actually not at the time I would like. Once everything is set in stone, I will cancel one though.

What places are you looking for? Maybe try a few different ones you hadn't thought of. Or for a different time.

I still do it the old fashioned way I call and speak to someone !!!!I have called and changed many a ressie but I have never had 2 for the same time frame !!I put a lot of thought into my adrs and sometimes it's hard making the decision 6 months out !!!But if I can't get a ressie at the perfect time I do just keep checking !!!

Odd. When Mary and I were changing up a couple of our ADRs, it auto-dumped the ones that happened to be within and hour or two- I dont remember how long. THey sent us e-mails saying they were sorry, but yada, yada, yada...

Does it always work this way- or only when you do them online?
