The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

She is SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!! :lovestruc

In the second picture (I think) she looks a lot like Mel - her face and expressions based on some of the pictures I've seen. Too stinkin' adorable ;)

All caught up again! :goodvibes

First, I'm very sorry to hear about the baby. But, glad you are doing well with it. You and Mel will be in my prayers!

I'm sorry to hear about not being able to extend the trip either! That's a big bummer. But great news on booking CP AND the possibility of the Princess Tea Party!

Adorable pictures! Is it hard to believe she is in school? I can't even wrap my head around that and I know Henry will be going NEXT YEAR!

Yep, Ana is still as cute as ever! :cutie: I just love her all dressed up for dance class.

That is so cute of the waiter!

Juliana is so pretty. Did she enjoy her first day of school?

Awe that is so cool that the waiter drew that.

Reminds me of last year. I was watching over my group, who was taking a French exam, and they were nervous as it was from the minister, and the last of the year. So I drew Donald Duck on the board wishing them good luck. I got a smile out of them hehe

Sweet pictures of Juliana! :lovestruc

I'm a rule-follower, so I totally respect your decision to go with your granter's wish to not extend your trip. However...the part of me that needs to understand things is really curious as to the why! :rotfl:
They said liability issues and it ended at that. OK I'm fine with it... a little bummed but fine. I really wantedt o have a few extra days to drive to Bradenton to see Mel's grandfather (about a 2 hour drive each way)

Okay, I just got done catching up, and I want to say I'm so sorry for your recent loss. I'm keeping your family in my thoughts and keeping all available appendages crossed that you hear good news about the tea party very soon.
Thank you.

We were supposed to hear something by today about the tea party... but no call. :sad2:

You mentioned that you might be changing your schedule around again now that you know you're leaving on the 7th - if you decide to keep US in there, let me know if you have any questions. I've been a few times, and will actually be there again in October.
Ok thanks.. I already have a question. :lmao:

Do you think it is worth going to US from 9am-2-2:30? We need to be back to the airport for our 5:45pm flight home?

Awww, Juliana is adorable!:goodvibes What a cutie pie. She looks like a pixie fairy:cutie:. Seriously adorable pics! Love the posing shots too.:goodvibes
Thanks! She loves to pose! :rotfl:

How fun that your waiter drew Goofy! My girls would've gotten a huge kick out of it. Have you ever done the Animation Academy drawing thing? It's very fun and then you can look like a drawing hero for Juliana! The pictures come out pretty cool.:goodvibes I can't draw to save my life but I was able pass off a recognizable Goofy!
I haven't done the drawing class and I don't think I'd be too good at it. I was never an artist. (I am horrible!) Juliana would probably be better than me! LOL

Bummer that you can't extend the days though. But that's just all the more reason to plan another trip! My feeling is that you just can't go to Disney too many times. It's impossible.
I totally agree with this statement! There is so much to do, I'm not sure if anyone could do it all! :confused3

Heather
Thanks!

I think it is hard to tell what side of the family she looks more like. I think she looks like my sister when my sis was younger. I'm not even sure if I have a pic of when my sister was younger..... I think she 'stole' them all! I need to try to find one.:goodvibes

I'm a little sad about not extending but it's OK.

Love CP!!!!! and I'm still trying for a few 'hidden' jems. :goodvibes

Adorable pictures! Is it hard to believe she is in school? I can't even wrap my head around that and I know Henry will be going NEXT YEAR!
She went last year 2 days a week. This year she goes 3 days. She really loves it. She came down with a cold today and was crying when it was time for her to goto bed because she thought she couldn't go to school tomorrow because she has a cold.

Yep, Ana is still as cute as ever! :cutie: I just love her all dressed up for dance class.

LOL Thanks!

Yea it was really nice of him! :goodvibes

Oh, she loves it! I wish she would tell us on her own what she does there. It is like pulling teeth to get it out of her! :rotfl:

What kind of grade would you give him? Keep in mind he was standing and the box was foam! :rotfl::rotfl:

Well, technically US is two parks - Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. We typically do both parks in one day, so I think you could easily do one park in that period of time, especially if you get their Xpress pass. That is similar to the Disney Fast Pass, except you pay for it upfront, and you can automatically go to Xpress lane for any ride, no waiting for your time to come up or anything like that.

I think your daughter might be too young to go on most of the attractions at the Universal Studios park, but Islands of Adventure has a Dr. Suess land, with many kid's rides. They also have the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter, if anyone if your family has any interest in that.

Here is the link to check out all the rides at Islands of Adventure: http://www.universalorlando.com/Amusement_Parks/Islands_of_Adventure/islands_of_adventure.aspx

Thanks for the info and I will check out your link.

I think since we are on a MAW trip we get front of the line privilege.. or something like that. Juliana would probably like the Dr. Suess area- we read a ton of Dr. Suess books and she has seen the movie Cat in the Hat once (felt it was kind of a mistake letting her watch it though)

Is US (either park) as busy as WDW parks? I just don't know what to expect. :confused3

I've definitely never seen either park as busy as WDW, especially on a weekday. It's a little harder to predict IoA now that they have the Harry Potter area, since it's such a big draw for people, but I don't think the added people going there would affect too many other areas of the park.

Here's Islands of Adventure just after park opening on a Monday in June:

and here's Universal Studios on a Friday in September around mid-day:

Thanks for the pics!!! It doesn't look too crazy. Now I just need to come up with a plan of attack!

I don't care about HP but I wouldn't mind riding the ride.I guess if I got to ride 1 or 2 roller coasters I'd be happy:goodvibes

Adorable pics!

We just did IOA and US on our trip though it may be December before I get to it in the TR!

We also did IOA only, back in 2004 when the E's were 4&5 and they LOVED it. Both parks actually have quite a lot for little ones. The crowds for WWOHP are/were a bit mind boggling but by the time you go it won't be the peak summer season or brand new so even if you do IOA and the WWOHP section, I can't imagine it will be as bad. I am more than happy to answer any questions about it!

We saw more characters in US (Scooby and the gang, Woody Woodpecker, the Simspons, more but I'm spacing on who) and all the Nick Jr stuff is there like Jimmy Nuetron etc. Plus Shrek in 3d...which is always fun. Some great shows on that side, the Beetlejuice graveyard review was a highlight of the total trip for me, and sweet rides like ET.

On the IOA side you have the Seuss area, a really fun classic comics area (Popeye, etc) and lots of super hero's(spidey, the justice league, etc...saw all of them "live", plus of course Harry Potter. Which was AMAZING. Ana may be a bit young for it though all of you would enjoy the theming and the detail even if you haven't seen a movie or read a book.

The FJ is an AMAZING AMAZING ride.

On both sides, if you are into the thrill rides for yourself with child swap, well, lets just say the parks rock. IOA in particular in our opinion.

lol I don't know how I'd grade him since I look for objectives and elements I asked for. And effort. So an A for effort. Probably a B or B+ I guess.

Still waiting for that backpack picture. :rolleyes1

Hope you have a good weekend. Are we working this weekend?

Juliana is growing up!
Claire started dance back up last night. (Friday nights at 5..not my favorite time) She is in full tap this year. In previous years she did a combo of eveything, so this is differnt this year. And boy do they go FAST! I was worried she wouldn't be able to keep up and get discouraged, but she did fine and said she liked it.
Juliana is such a little fashion model too. I love her clothes.

The other day, when went to the fair, one girl that was with us was name Julia. I kept calling her Juliana! IIPs.I am on Dis way too much! :rolleyes1

Oh, she loves it! I wish she would tell us on her own what she does there. It is like pulling teeth to get it out of her! :rotfl:

Lol I think most of them are like that.. When my nephew started all with got was one word answers like fine good etc when we asked how he got on lol!

Hi Tim,

I'm so soryy to hear about your loss. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
I have a lot to catch up on here. Your pages goes so fast.

I'm so sorry to hear about the baby, Tim! Hugs to all of you.
It will happen when it is meant to happen.
Juliana makes a super cute dancer. Adorable pictures from her first week of school.
