The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

Hey kathy-

Here is the backpack pic. Not sure how big it is going to come out but Juliana was showing off her backpack on the first day of school.

I love the Hulk roller coaster - one of my favorites in any park.

From what I've heard about Forbidden Journey, it's not really a roller coaster. I'm not sure how to describe it. One of the threads on the US board said that the mechanism used for the ride is similar to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4aGKCAahv4 (without all the updside down motion). So kind of a more intense version of Soarin'?

OK.. seems like Hulk has to go on MY list... not Juliana's list. LOL

That ride was NUTS!!!!!! I like all coasters and crazy rides but that Lego Land ride didn't seem like it would be too fun. :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Tim, I love it. It's absolutely adorable and matches her "first day of school" outfit. She is such a "girl." I can't think of anyone more deserving than you. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah, I don't think I'd enjoy that ride either. But don't let that video scare you off FJ - like I said, there's no upside down motion, that's just the type of system they have to move you around to feel like you're flying. I'll give a better review after I'm there next month :cool2:

Oh thanks!

I'll be waiting to hear all about it!

Just read through your PTR and I have to say Juliana is adorable. She is just a couple of weeks older than my DS1 who was born on 4/5/06.

I am glad that Juliana is doing well and is cancer free.

Also I am so sorry for you and your wife's loss.

I can't wait to hear about this trip more. All of your plans sound fantastic. You will have so much fun at MVMCP. I am hoping to take our kids there in the next couple of years but DS2 needs to be a little older before we spend Christmas at WDW.

I love that back pack. Does it come with wheels? lol Kylee needs a rolling back pack. She wears her feeding back pack and can't wear 2 of them. lol

Awwww, this is the cutest pic!:goodvibes You should use it as your disboards avatar. Adorable!:goodvibes My DD7 would go wild over that backpack. Where did you get it?
I should use it as my avatar.. except I love the pic I have already. I don't think I have ever changed it since I joined the DIS.

We got it at the Disney Store... but I don't see it on their website. Wonder if they are all sold out? :confused3

I found one for $8 with free shipping. I never heard of this website though http://www.dealsvista.com/deal/sale-up-to-50-off-free-shipping-personalized-minnie/93984

So cute!!! The backpack looks as big as she is.
It really does look as big as her in that pic. You can barely see her legs. :rotfl:

Loving the picture updates. What a cutie your baby girl is! princess:
Thanks!! I really need to post some more pics... of her of course. No one wants to see pics of me! LOL:lmao:

:welcome: to my TR!

Thank you for the kind comments.

I am looking forward to MVMCP. I have in my mind that it won't be as fun as the MNSSHP. LOL Hopefully I will have some new news soon. :goodvibes

This backpack doesn't have wheels. It is just a regular pack.

I googled Minnie backpack and I did find a few with rollers but not the same one Juliana has. I'll keep my eyes open though. :)

Just posting an update since I haven't done one in a while. :surfweb:

We are still waiting to hear from MAW to see if Ana was able to get the tea party. I thought we would of heard something by Friday (9/10) but we didn't. There has been no other MAW news since I spoke with them last week.

Juliana has been enjoying school and is always excited to go. I think she would be happy if it was every day instead of only 3 days a week. :goodvibes

I have a question to ask everyone....

1)What ride/attraction in the MK have you always wanted to ride/see but never had the chance?

For me I want to ride the Astro Orbiter but it never works out. Either the line is really long or we just skip it to head to something else. We haven't seen Stitch's Great Escape and really have no desire to! :lmao:

Oh man, this is easy. Space Mountain. My first trip to Disney I was too young, my second trip we only went to DHS, and last year it was under refurbishment. I am so freaking excited about this ride!

I'm sorry you haven't heard any news yet. I'll send vibes that you'll know something by the end of this week.

This is going to sound really weird, but I haven't been on the riverboat since I was a kid, and every trip it seems like there's never time.

Perhaps this February!

I really wish MAW would let you know so that you could get on with your planning.

We have done every single ride at the MK so I can't answer that one. I guess the one I would say, since it has been clsoed the last several trips and we've only done it maybe twice, is the Liberty Square Riverboat.

I hope you go get that ride on SM! I hope it doesn't disappoint! I remember my first ride on it was cool and then after riding RnRC I rode SM again.... then I was a little sad. :lmao:

Thank you! I'm waiting for that phone to ring.

Mine would be Carousel of Progress. I really want to, just never made time for it. :confused3
We never have rose it either! Here is a confession... I'm not even sure what it is! :rotfl2:

Ummmm we haven't rode on it either. :headache:

It seems like a boat ride that is on a track that goes in a short circle isn't that fun. :rolleyes1 :boat:

Hmmm, I've never done the railroad. Each trip I say I'm going to but then the time flies by and it just doesn't happen. Maybe I'll finally do it this upcoming trip!

Ugh, do yourself (and Juliana!) a favor and NEVER ride Stitch's Great Escape. DH and I made the mistake of taking our 3DD's (they were 5, 7 and 8) and they screamed bloody murder! Actually there was a collective wailing from many kids once the lights went out! My youngest DD kept begging me to get her out of there but we were strapped into those harness shoulder things. So, be a good father and never subject your sweet girl to it!

Gonna try to work in TTA and Carousel of Progress on our upcoming trip. Never done either of those before and would like to. Haven't done the riverboat since I was a kid, and you had to use a lettered ticket to ride it (C,D,E????) which I guess is really dating myself! :lmao:

Darn, your old (and you can't come back and say I am--not a nice way to talk to a lady!).
