Compared to you I am not a big planner...obsessed and always looking for ideas and tips and have become an unofficial travel agent to family, friends, and co-workers....Our only plans are as follows:

11/25 Thanksgiving - Flight from Chicago arrives at MCO at 11:30 a.m. No plans this day except for a cocktail at the Poly as soon as we arrive.
11/26 - no plans, but Spectromagic is that night and I need to see it at least once.
11/27 - ADR Chef Mickey's 9:55 a.m....may cancel I am getting tired of being rushed here.
11/28 - BBB @ 8:30 a.m. and praying she chooses the bun - I am in the process of trying to brainwash this decision in her mind and ADR for CRT @ 5:40 p.m.
11/29 - no plans
11/30 - 9:45 a.m. Dolphins in Depth for DD14 (graduation gift) and DH (Father's Day gift - I got a neck massager ) then ADR @ Teppan Edo 6 p.m.
12/1 - no plans
12/2 - ADR Coral Reef @ 6:30 p.m.
12/3 - no plans
12/4 - ADR Le Cellier @6:20 p.m.
12/5 - leave at noon and back to Chicago ( I would pray for a snowstorm, but not at the full price of Poly!)

Hummmm... I don't know if our paths will cross? But I'm sure my plans will change a few more times, so you never know!

Have you ever eaten at Teppan Edo before? I want to eat there someday.

A neck massager? Hopefully it works!

Why do trips seem so much shorter when you put them in writing??? Our first and last day will always be at the MK...it is my favorite with EPCOT just behind.

The sad thing is that trips, especially WDW trip, go by way too fast!

We did the Poly for our 15th Anniversary last year and booked this year's on the bounceback offer. However, we are paying full price for the first three nights (Thanksgiving holiday ). I don't know if I will ever be able to go back to a moderate...they may have made me a Deluxe Snob...but I'm sure college tuition prices will bring us back to reality.

I won't call you a resort snob... I'll call you a Poly lover!

I have 14 years before college.... I'm sure it will come quickly.

Keep trying to see if you can get the Poly under one of their special offers...there is not limiation as to length of stay. I just checked prices on check in on the 8th and out on the 10th, but no Poly available, but BC was $204 a night....

I have a 40% off pin and I also get the mousesavers newsletter which has all the Disney discount codes in it. I always watch and play around with pricing.

Don't give up...I would give you mine and take a later time, but the date doesn't work for you. Maybe you could a post out there for someone to give you a heads up if they cancel during your dates???

I've been following the canceled ADR thread. Maybe I should start my own Canceling BBB thread?

We go to the MK everytime on this day! Don't give up just expect not to get back and forth on Main Street easily.... You will need to go through the stores to get past Main Street and don't try to cut across Main Street...just go through the lands. Thursday and Friday they tape the stage shows (say Beyonce our first year, but nothing good after that) and the parade is Saturday (need a special ticket to be on the right side of the ropes) with a rain date of Sunday. Otherwise, rides are like any typical Saturday.

Thanks for the info... this is good to know. Maybe Justin Bieber will be there this year.

I regret last year being our first year seeing this!!! Very magical - it will bring a tear to your eye when Juliana sees it for the first time (okay maybe your wife depending on your emotions and since she is pregnant - maybe a lot of tears).

Hopefully, we will feel the same way!

We got a call from Juliana's granter yesterday. She said that she spoke to the office and if there was some other activity that we would like to do besides BBB to let them know. They would be willing to book something different for us. She suggested MVMCP or a character meal.... but said if we find something we like to call and let them know. So it is possible that we could still do the Perfectly Princess Tea Party.

I have been on the WDW site looking for ADRs and my work has paid off! We were able to get CP for dinner!!!! At least we have 1 character meal, we like the food at CP, and we don't have to leave MK. Score, Score, & Score!



On some other non-trip news, Juliana had her first day of school today and loved it. Unfortunately I was working this morning and missed it. Mel sent me a couple pics and once I upload them I will post 'em. Tomorrow she has school and her 1st day of dancing since her June recital.

I forgot to add... I found out from my brother on Monday that his college roomate who is a dancer (no not that kind) was in the Princess and the Frog. He was cast to do the dance moves for Dr. Facilier. He had to wear a special suit(sorry, don't know the name) and do the dance moves in front of a green screen. Then they follow his movements and overlay the cartoon to get the moves. It was pretty interesting stuff. His roomate has been in Wicked and in a ton of other broadway plays. He has also toured all over the world in different productions. My brother saw him last week on America's got talent (or one of those shows)

Have you ever eaten at Teppan Edo before? I want to eat there someday.

My family has become addicted to Teppan Edo. We play different disney games throughout the year to win choices and things on the trip. The first year we went to Teppan Edo - my DH had one a serious game of the Magic Kingdom game and the prize was a TS Dining Experience and he choose Teppan Edo. My kids whined the whole time as to how disgusting this sounded and had the biggest pout faces when we arrived.

They changed their minds quickly and we had a wonderful experience. The following year - just as great. The chefs are entertaining and bring in a Disney flare. They seem so serious when they come out, but they change very quickly - not to mention the food was great both times (DS11 loves the white sauce they serve (1 of 3) with the meal. Juliana will be kept entertained - Hannah was 2 the first time and behaved the whole time.

Your new plans look fabulous! We've been itching to try Rose & Crown, the menu looks delish and I've always wanted to go to England. Also, Crystal Palace is one of our favorites because the food is good and the characters so darn cute! I'm sure your DD will enjoy it.

The Perfectly Princess Tea Party sounds like sooo much fun. Is that the one where you just drop them off or where you go with them? I always confuse it with that other one. My girls really want to do this but hmmm, 3 girls X the cost is kind of pricey! Maybe we'll just have tea in the room!

Sounds like you have a great time planned. Planning is half the fun anyway, right? What are you putting in place of the Kona ADR? May I suggest the Ohana breakfast? It's delicious and the characters are so fun. I love the atmosphere there.

That is so cool! Two of my friends are dancers. My friend Nick was in the movie "Hairspray" he played the part of "Sketch." He was one of the dancers on the Corny Collins Show. Nick's roommate Kenny (who I have met a few times) will be taking over Kevin Bacon's role in Footloose! It is always so cool to see people you know in movies! My sister is supposed to be in Kevin James' movie Zoo Keeper, and she was in Knight and Day for like 2 seconds lol. I think her car had a bigger role in that movie than she did!

Anyways....that is awesome you got your character breakfast! I saw you are trying to extend your trip. I am flying on Southwest and accidentally booked my from from Orlando to Providence instead of Prov to Orlando....ooops (we are flying SW there and Jet Blue back). I was able to change the flight without a problem. Don't know if you have that option where MAW is booking it for you, but it never hurts to try.

Tim I have to add my love of Rose & Crown !!Ate there last February and it was wonderful!!I had the pork dish which was to me outta this world and the lemon tart too !!I sat on the screened in balcony and had a wonderful view of the lake !!!
