Allow me to exercise my power as your nemesis and throw another wrinkle into your plans. Perhaps it would be better to keep the MK 2:25 appointment. Rather than spending the entire morning at DTD, you can get to MK at rope drop (or whatever time you think rope drop is)

I think doing the BBB would be a great idea going to DTD first and arriving at MK already princessified! That way you wouldn't have to worry about rushing from a ride or worrying about being in a line too long and missing your afternoon appt.

The Girls want CRT for their 16th Birthday next August so I will make sure I am on the phone exactly 180 days out from our arrival !!They want to do dinner which I think is easier than breakfast !!

Hmmm, is your DD planning to dress up at the BBB? Are you coming already dressed up or carrying it with you? If you're carrying it with around all day, then I'd do the DTD location. If you're not carrying around a princess outfit all day then I'd totally keep the MK one and do rope drop for sure. The MK BBB location is much sweeter inside IMO, adds to the whole magical castle scene, you know? Plus, it'll give your poor pregnant wife a chance to sit down in the middle of the day and rest! Are you planning to eat at the MK that night too? If you can't get into CRT, I'd go with 1900 Park Fare because 1. she'll be all princessed up already and 2. the characters are very interactive here, including Cinderella.

Tim, it's been wonderful to read your story and I really feel honored that you're sharing it with us. To see Juliana, that sweet baby hooked up to all those tubes...it just breaks my heart. I think it is important though, to have pictures of what happened, because you will want her to understand how far she's come and what a little trooper she is.

I'm so happy, as I said before, that you're expecting a new addition to the family. Having just had our second, I can tell you, it's a whole new world, but a welcome one.

Well, i was a bit behind on PTR but YAY @ flight times If it was me i would choose to stay at gktw the first night and just enjoy all they have to offer, I also have no idea what all s in store there but by TR's and others that have been that have talked about it thats something my DD and DS want to do (14 and 17) and they are sooo excited about it

Perhaps it would be better to keep the MK 2:25 appointment. Rather than spending the entire morning at DTD, you can get to MK at rope drop (or whatever time you think rope drop is), enjoy the morning at the park, get a nice lunch somewhere and get to BBB. It could make for a nice mid-day break, and then she's all princessed up for the rest of the afternoon.

That isn't a horrible idea... I will bring it up to the boss.

Plus RD is at 10:30 right?

Just a thought.
(And don't let this affect your BBB decision at all, but if you keep the MK ressie, we'll just be walking out of CRT as you are arriving for BBB.)

But this will ruin round 2 of Text-gate 2010.

One more thought...

Don't give up on CRT...On the day you get there (assuming you can't find any availability before then...go to Guest Services and see if there is any way they can add a Wish Family to CRT. Let them know the situation with the fact that you just got your dates, etc and they may make some magic happen.

You can also go to the CRT reservations desk and ask for the manager - I would not ask the CM's checking in - because they can't add anyone - but a manager could.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure that we even want to eat there. I figured I would just ask when I was on the phone. Then when I looked online at what was available I was shocked to see there is nothing available. I am probably the only person that wishes the booking window was back at 90days. DARN YOU FREE DINING!!!!!

I have to let these 2 ideas float around (MK or DTD BBB) for a day or two then make an executive decision!

One good thing is that for most rides we will have a front of the line pass... that will put us in the FP line or let us move towards the front, so most line waiting should be to a minimum.

My family will be in Disney for my Daughter Lindsey's wish at the same time as your family. I'm glad to see that your doing a PTR. I'm thinking of doing one too.

I think that MAW books the full package-including the dress, but I am not sure. If not, I'm sure we can cart the dress around without a problem. We will have Juliana's stroller with us.

If Melody can't keep up with me & Juliana, we will send her to the Wish lounge to rest!

I looked at 1900PF and there isn't anything open right now. I will keep looking till I find something. We will probably want an earlier dinner because we want to see Wishes that start at 8pm.

It didn't feel good taking pics of her like that, but as you said I took them to be able to show her when she is older (plus she sees them now from time to time).

The flights have made this trip very real and I am realizing how behind we are with the planning.

I just have to say that this is by far one of the hardest things I've ever done. I know a lot of parents may not admit this but, it can be frustrating and downright exasperating sometimes.

That being said, being home with the boys is also the most rewarding thing I've ever done, and I feel blessed to have this joy in my life so soon after losing my mom. It feels so natural that Squirt is part of our lives now, like he was always meant to be here.

Thank you! I can't wait for it either!!!!! I'm sure there will be plenty of drama between now and then.

I've been following the wish thread for about 1 1/2 years before Juliana was approved for a Wish. I think it was one of the first threads I starting tracking. I've tried to remember all that info but there is just too much! I've also met some great people from that board. Good luck with you DDs Wish!

I'd try calling too. That is the week of Pop Warner. And, although I know they have no idea at this point what teams will be going, some of those that have been years past, may have made ressies in anticipation of their participating again this year. It certainly can't hurt.
