Well, I step away from the computer for a few days to visit my brand new nephew and look at all the updates I missed!

As usual, Juliana is like a little ray of sunshine! Love all the sweet pics of her excited little face! Although I must say my favorite one is her confused look over the gift bag for you Tim! Lordy, I was laughing so loud at that one! Her face said it all...um, Dad, I guess this one is for you? And I love that you called it a 'book bag' not a backpack! That's what I grew up calling them in NH but here in the south they say backpack. And it's y'aaaaalllll, not you all.

Can I just say that I'm so happy Puppy has been included too? She (Puppy) looks f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! I hope Juliana is bringing her to Disney.

The tie dye shirts are awesome too! You, Melody and Juliana will be your own tour group! You're not Brazilian by any chance, are ya? (there's always threads on the theme parks board about those Brazilian tour groups!) Love that you're man enough to match your girls!

Mock if you want, but a job at Disney would be a dream! I'd love to walk around as Cinderella all day! Sure I'm 37 but I could still pull it off! How old is Cinderella supposed to be anyway?

We are 20 days away. 3 weeks from today we will be chilling in Florida!

LOL She was confused when she saw that the bag was for me. Then she pulled out one for Melody and got mad! (not really mad- just tried to act mad)

We call it both bookbag and backpack. I think we mostly use bookbag though.

Well, I'd hate to think of Puppy home all alone while you're living it up at Disney! My DD7 has a princess Minnie too that she absolutely loves. My house is over-run with Disney stuffed animals!

We encountered some Brazilian tour groups ourselves one February. They were very friendly (playing with my girls) but apparently they don't understand line etiquette! I wonder if they know they're famous here on the disboards?

Tim, I just thought of the perfect job for you at Disney. Are you ready for it? The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! You claim you're good with hair (well, Juliana's at least!) so it'd be perfect! Ok, that was a joke obviously!

I hear ya on the weather reports! Back when we were supposed to have gone in Oct., I was checking accuweather.com a month ahead of time at least! What is wrong with me?? Now I'm checking the weather history for the beginnning of February! I'm starting to think I have too much time on my hands!

It was 10 months ago when we had our meeting with MAW and it seems like it too. In 19 short days we will be boarding a plane on the way to Florida. During the summer, when Juliana and I were outside all day, we would see a Southwest plane fly over our house everyday around 4. It flies low enough that you can see the red and blue colored plane. I always wondered if that was the plane bringing people back from Florida. It just could be since the MCO to Hartford flight lands here at 4:40. Like our trip, the plane seemed so close yet so far. Yet here we are 19 short days away and we are so close but our trip still seems so far.


Last Sunday was my nieces baptism and my sister asked me to be the godfather. I was honored of course. I just wanted to share a few pictures from Sunday.

So that was our day on Sunday. Monday rolled around and there were not 1, not 2, but 3 packages in the mail for Juliana! I gave her the choice of which one to open and she decided on the Cinderella box 1st.

She looked inside and found a pair of flip-flops.

And a matching hair tie!

The 1st pair came out and there was another pair of flip-flops then another. The 3rd pair were WAY to big to be for Juliana and WAY to small to be for me..... they were for Melody! Juliana and Melody has matching Mickey flip-flops!

Thank you so much Wilson Family (magicmomma) for the flip-flops. Juliana & Melody loved them!!! I'm not sure if it was planned but your gift went perfectly with what Juliana opened next.



The 2nd package was a big envelope with a Mickey head on it.

Juliana found the card first. It had her favorite character on the front... Cinderella!

We read the card.. then it was back to the package.

Juliana received a cute Minnie Mouse outfit!!!!! Thank you so much to Jen & Family (cjbear) for the awesome clothes!!!!


After the 3rd package was opened, Juliana tried them on with the flip-flops and they matched perfectly!!!!
