The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

ABSOLUTELY!!! :thumbsup2

:goodvibes

Interesting.... do you go straight for the Beverly or do you work your way up to it? I would think working up to it would make it taste worse. :confused3

You know, it doesn't matter to me. I can head straight to it or after other things.

Tim's threads- Bringing people together since November 2008. :lmao::lmao:

You're the gift that keeps on giving! :lmao:

Wait a sec... there are world Santas in the WS in December? I need to find out more about this.

Yeah they have the Santa's from each country at the World Showcase. Just be careful because she may be confused by the Santas, they look different. Some parents have come up with creative answers, based on the weather, or there is one Santa for every country etc. It is on our list of things to accomplish at Epcot! My mom still has Santa come to our house and we put the presents under the tree as they are wrapped because it looks nicer, the next door neighbors 7 year old was over and read the label and asked why Santa came before Christmas. Had to tell him that in order to get presents to the kids on Christmas eve, he delivers to older kids before Christmas, because they have an easier time waiting for Christmas day. I never thought of a lie so fast in my life!

Quick thinking! When my son was around 5 he asked me why Santa wraps the presents in the same gift wrap as some of ours. I replied that since Santa makes the wrap year round he gives it to stores so we can buy it. Sounded lame but he accepted it!!

Epcot to dos for us someday:
Segway tour
Eat & drink around WS (not all in one day:lmao:)
Mission Space – well, have to think about this one. But I did manage to go on TOT this past August (I was terrified) – maybe just maybe in a few years I can try MI!!
Try a Beverly!
See Caption EO

For you guys:

Turtle Talk with Crush – Juliana will love this!!

Japanese Candy Lady –Juliana will be fascinated. She makes candy into different shapes and only only asks children for ideas on what to make. The children she calls upon receive the candy as a gift – you cannot buy the candy.

Chinese Acrobats – second this idea – they are amazing to watch.

Innovations:
Piggy Bank Adventure– cute – you select a piggy bank, decide what you are going to “save” for and complete 3 different activities – this would be something you can do with her.

There is a section where you record simple movements and they are incorporated into a video game. You are recorded: Jumping in place, running in place, and then doing a dance (and we all know Juliana can dance!!:)) Then you are able to play a video game and “see” yourself in it. I think you all will have fun doing this.

You're the gift that keeps on giving! :lmao:
HAHAHA!!!!! Good one!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hey, you've not been over to the new and upated CSR thread. What's with that?
I didn't know it was ready.. I will check it out in a few. Ana is watching a movie. We spent some time in Costco and now it is raining here again. :)

Segway Tour :thumbsup2

...but that's probably not in the scope of your trip.
Not this time.. but I wouldn't mind doing that someday. Don't you have to be in Epcot first thing in the a.m.? I have a hard time getting to the parks before 10am.

See if you took "Adopted Aunt Kathy" you could have your 'adult' touring and Juliana and I could go do all the fun stuff. :cloud9:
hummmm.... true!

That is a funny story! Good thing for quick thinking on your part. Great cover!

I'm sure if we did see all the different Santas we can think up a good story for her. That is neat that they have different Santas. I don't think we are going to be spending a lot of time in the WS though.

We were worried about that last year but she never made any mention of it. I think we are going to use different wrapping paper for Juliana this year so we don't run across this situation. ;)

I would want to see the Japanese candy lady too. :)

I was following another Wish report where the kids did this and they really had fun. I think Juliana should be old enough to understand it now.

That sounds really fun! I think Juliana would love that!

Pretty sure Miyuki (the Japanese candy lady) doesn't give her candy out anymore- citing a big fat load of BS about food allergies, blah, blah, blah... The banter on the TP&A boards thought maybe there too many guest complaints from those who harbor the spirit of entitlement that they didn't get one too. :confused3

I saw her in Sept 2009. It this is true, what is wrong with people?? I thought it was great that the kids got to receive these unique gifts!!

We did too. We loved our little cheetah she made! The thread turned into discussion about kids that misbehaved, and parents who complained about not getting one, etc... ; it broke my heart!!

To add to the "Santa" delema, DD got to pick out special paper for santa to wrap her gifts after he got to grandmas, we left it under the tree with scissors and tape, just make sure you buy enough to leave some under the tree.

tell Juliana that the Santa's in WDW are his helpers, Mickey brings them in special every year, just like all the santa's in the mall's are Santa's "helpers"

my DD got one of the candy animals from Miyuki in 05, she was the only kid in the group though too so I don't think any adult would of questioned her getting it, but I'm sure there are some out there that would.

definately see Crush, we love him!
spend time going through the countries in WS, when DD was 5 she did the kidcot and got the passport, coin set and a small souvenior from each country. she then shared them with her preschool friends as a "homework" assignment, was great fun for all the kids to hear about the world and we also brought them each a Mickey lollipop!

Your trip is going to be so amazing and I'm so happy to be a small part of it!
BTW, I made the photo mats bigger just for all those photopass pics you might be getting!

Catching up....LOVE the Gift Card Dance!!!! :lmao: And what a very magical day between the gift card and the beautiful autograph book. I love Juliana's HUGE smiles.

As for Epcot, the only thing I haven't done in Futureworld is the Circle of Life film. In the World Showcase I would like to see the film in Canada. We did France this past trip and really enjoyed it - even Henry liked it! I also haven't seen many of the performers and would like to catch the acrobats in China.

It wasn't the adults complaining that they didn't get one, more that their own kids didn't get one- isn't watching her do her stuff enough magic, and to get one a massive bonus?? Anyway, I won't drag your thread down Tim, moving on...

I hope Captain EO will be there for a long time. At least so that I can see it once more this summer.

It is a shame that she doesn't hand out her candy anymore...

Don't worry Liesa, my thread is as good as a place to vent as your thread! What's mine is yours! :lmao::lmao:

I think this would be the best way to explain it. :)

How neat! Did she eat it? Was it good?

definitely see Crush, we love him!

Bringing home Mickey lollipops for her friends at school.. I might have to 'steal' that! :thumbsup2

I figured the mats were for 5X7 photopass pictures. We can't wait to fill it up!!!! :goodvibes

I have another dance coming up too... I think she is even crazier in this one. LOL

By the sound of it, you aren't missing much with missing the Circle of Life. It will be something to see when our kids get older.

I would like to see the acrobats in China too. ::yes::

I think we (you & I) are the only one's hoping that this will be open for a while longer... Oh and Jen too! ;)

I almost feel like I should borrow your friends MJ doll to take and enjoy the show with. LOL!

Maybe.

Then again, during one of the showings I went to, when MJ appeared on the screen (and his back to us) people started applauding and cheering. It was so great.

No DD did not eat the candy, it was rock hard and I was afraid it would hurt her teeth.
You may "steal" away the lollipop idea! and others too!!!

The only thing I can think of that I really haven't done at Epcot is the Wonders of Life pavillion which is closed!

Today when I was going through the mail there was an envelope addressed to Juliana from Lake Buena Vista, FL. I started wondering what I bought or what could of been sent to us. I almost opened it myself but I figured I could have Juliana open it and take a few pics.

I told her she had a letter from Florida. When we say Florida to Juliana she immediately thinks Disney. When she sees Florida license plates she says 'Look! That car is from Disney!!!'

She finally got the envelope open and pulled out a paper with a Tinker Bell gift card on it.

We couldn't believe that someone sent a gift card and the generous amount that was on there!

I asked her if she wanted to say a thank you for the gift card and she said yes.

Click on the picture for the video:

After I taped her she asked if she could do a gift card dance. I didn't know what that would consist of but I said sure and I just started taping. Click on the picture for the video:

As you can see, Juliana was excited!!!!!!!! She was a being a NUT!

Melody and I would like to thank the Laxton's for the generous gift!!!!! Thank you so much! Juliana cannot wait to use it!

More Pixie Dust coming up in a minute!! :goodvibes

So glad she liked it! Sorry for the delay we just got back last night.
