BTW: Who is "Josh"? (Do you think it was someone affiliated with Brady? ... Maybe he was expecting a press release at midnight, then we had to wait for him to write up his "blurb" and post it.) Why -- oh why!!! - must I be so inquisitive?? (Truly, it is a bit of a curse! )

Most importantly, lunch, today will be slow roasted ribs......I know a heavy lunch but it is AnnDisneyMan's birthday today and what my man wants.....

I am also wondering if Josh was Brady....how do press releases work? Is there a timing element that the press is told to abide by? I still find it unbelievable that the site was not updated first???? Cannot seem to let that go......the whole technology portion and information sharing portion of this contest has been......to be kind.....lacking.

(commenting on Amy Kate)...Maybe it's that she wasn't a finalist? (Somehow, her tone seemed a bit cheerier than that, though!) I hope it's something good!

Maybe, because of her videos, they offered Amy Kate a "Samantha Brown" type of role??? That would make one cheery!

Congrats Tripp, Justin and David!!! Just returned home from Spring Break and saw the big news this morning. First off, I have to say I AM SO JEALOUS! ;-). Whew! Now that I got THAT off my chest, I'll also say that I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS!

I got an absolutely amazing makeover over the break (stay tooned) and am packing up my things so I can move in and pick out my room. I stopped by this morning and noticed all the goodies in the foyer AFTER the Starbucks drive-thru! Don't worry, I had my three-year-old stay on the welcome mat because he was absolutely covered with pumpkin scone frosting and hot chocolate. Yes, my car always looks greeeeat! As for the new digs, Mrs. Fleagle, you've certainly thought of it all!!! The place really looks amazing. I have a lot of catching up to do, so I imagine there's a party planned in honor of the Top Three tonight, right? If so, I'll see you there and I'll bring the wine! If not, I'd love to help plan something soon! TTFN!

So, has anyone else noticed that the day they're announcing the winner in front of Cinderella Castle is the same day that Animal Kingdom is celebrating its 10th anniversary, April 22?

At 8:45am in front of the Tree of Life, there will be a rededication ceremony featuring Jane Goodall, Meg Crofton, and others.

So... any idea what time the CMO announcement will be? I'd hate to miss it while over at Animal Kingdom.

About press releases: Actually, they can be distributed in advance, and they're then "embargoed" until a set hour. If you play by the rules, then you can work on the story before then, but you can't actually break the news until the predetermined time.

Thing is: "Josh" pretended to know info, but his Top Three predictions were wrong. (Substitute David Hawley (DH) for Amy Kate (AK).)

Makes me wonder if "Josh" knew that news was forthcoming, but he didn't know the specific details. ... Or, maybe it was all coincidental!

Brady did email me about his article and he said his info came from a Disney press release. I was unable to find such a press release on the web, which means he likely received it via e-mails. I regularly receive WDW-related press releases from Disney, but didn't get anything about this. Disney does have many different email release lists, so the LA Times must be on one that I'm not.

So that means they cut off the votes at midnight, right? I don't remember all the facts but I think we saw the counter go above 500K only during their voting problems...???

I believe the CMO crowning announcement will come in the morning hours on the 22nd. They asked me if I did not win, would I want to leave right away or hang out for the rest of the day. I of course said I wanted to hang out all day and watch Justin or David fill out all of that paper work...

Of course I will hang out and enjoy myself at the Kingdom win or lose...
