Good Morning Everyone!

Soccer and dance rehearsal this morning. Just wanted to pop in and say hello!
Sounds like Disney is a blast for Justin, Tripp, and David......so very jealous!

Cathie - have a safe trip home!

Thanks DisneyInsider for all the photos and videos. It is MUCH appreciated!

Mrs. Fleagle out.......

Darn! (replace with a more realistic expletive)
I can't get the videos to come up.

Anyone else have any problems with the dreamcmo site?

Anne

I haven't posted any pictures or videos tonight for 2 reasons.

2. And here's the awful reason: I totally messed up, and accidentally deleted all my pictures and videos from this morning at Epcot! I feel Sooooooooooooooooo bad, and I apologize for the mistake. I can only hope Disney gets up the whole version of the quiz - because Justin just smoked the competition. (Sorry David and Tripp, but he did).

Also, I had some neat interviews to show you, but they are all gone, too.

So please accept my apology, and know I will post what I have from this afternoon sometime after I get home.

Meanwhile - back to packing!

Cat

Cat, don't do another thing with your camera or memory card! I have a friend who's husband accidentally deleted all of their Italy pictures. They took it to a camera store or computer place and they were able to retrieve everything for them. Don't touch it and make some calls when you get home. I'm crossing my fingers that you'll be able to retrieve some of it.

Suz

Ricky,

Thanks for the pictures! They are awesome. What a great camera you must have!

Here you go, DISgeeks and Marshay - the show was fun and most inspiring. The designers and builders of these creations are amazing.

As are our CMO guys and the reporters on the scene! We've been so lucky to share all these moments. THANKS AGAIN CAT AND RICKY!!!!!

It's off to bed as winter closes in on Seattle. I lived in Boston for 17 years so I have actual weather credentials and understand this is nothing compared to real winter places but our weather has been crazy this year. It snowed like mad while I was making my way to the show tonight - the latest date on which it has ever snowed here.

Thanks, Circusgirl! Now, that's cool! (I noticed fleagle's CMO pin, too! .... Nice touch! :thumbsup2 )

How many people participated in the fashion show? ... And how long did it take your friend to make that amazing outfit?

Wow! The people in this thread are so much fun!! :goodvibes

Hello!

Just wanted to pop on and say good morning again! I promise I will get to the questions and PM's soon! (I actually did something VERY un-Justin like at Disney today . . . . I slept in!! We're just getting ready to head our for some time at the MK before our "kitchen sink"-off at Beaches and Cream this afternoon.

Thanks for the support, the votes, the laughs, and for checking in on those videos. Cat has been amazingly supportive and my whole family and I will miss her this weekend! Meeting Ricky and Kenny has also been awesome. Thanks so much for coming out to see us guys!

I'm having a little trouble with the internet in the room here (SLOW) and it can't seem to load the CMO page with the video updates, so I haven't seen the latest clips yet, either. Trust me, though, the contests have all been amazing. THis is more fun than I can describe - - -even with a 10 syllable made up word!

Have a GREAT weekend and I'll try to pop in again and update you some more later on this weekend!

Hey, Justin! :wave2: I just noticed that your green light is "on," so maybe we're actually checking in at the same time?!?

Have a great time today with your family! Congrats on all of your "wins" during the competitions! party:

'Just thought I'd give our thread a quick visit before I head back out again. (I ran a local 5K this morning, and now it's off to a birthday party...)

Thought I would pop in as well.
We are heading for our cottage today for the night just to see how it held up this winter.
It is going to be 73F there so I have to take advantage of it!!! :cool1:
I hear there was about 4-5 feet of snow at one point this winter.
(2hrs north of TO, near Huntsville (ONT not AL :) ) if you care to google map it.)

Back to the Top 3
Cat!!! OH NO!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
Hopefully Suz D's idea will work, maybe they can save it. pixiedust:
The videos were great on the site.
Justin...Way To GO!!!! :thumbsup2
Tripp...Keep it up Buddy, looking good!!!!
David....Great Job!!! :yay:
I had a little time earlier to do some voting, but that will be it from me until tomorrow night when we get back.
Next week will be a lot of fun with the winner being announced and the Virtual XCtry trip to prepare for! :woohoo: :car: party:

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!!

Here you go, DISgeeks and Marshay - the show was fun and most inspiring. The designers and builders of these creations are amazing.

I saw some coverage of the show on the local news... unfortunately, they didn't show you and your amazing outfit.

Awesome!!! How funky and cool to wear!!!

I just watched all the videos from the dreamcmo site -- great job!!

I actually liked the "mock commentary" ... I found it entertaining and made me smile -- not a laugh out loud type of thing, but a cute, little smile.

Great job all 3 of you!!

Wow! The people in this thread are so much fun!! :goodvibes

The show itself ran for an hour and a half!! There were about 30 outfits or groups of outfits and about 20 models. The pop-top outfit I wore took many, many hours to make. The pop-tops are linked together with elastic thread, so the gauntlets and bodice are slightly stretchy. One cool outfit was made by a reporter for a local paper. She had never done anything like this before, but accepted the challenge to participate while at a staff meeting at her paper. Of course the outfit was made from copies of the paper.

I just looked out the window and it is SNOWING again. Enjoy Orlando all you lucky trip goers!!!

Just wanted to pop on for a second and then it's off to bed. I had a long day. After two days of competition and being pretty much away from my kids, I wanted to to give my wife a break. So I took Keely and Emma with me this morning to the Magic Kingdom. I also shot some video at the "sink off" which was really more like an ice cream social. It was very nice to get together with all of the friends and families.

Here's a link to the vid recap:

Keep voting! http://www.dreamcmo.com

Be back soon!

Hey everyone!!!

Check out the CMO video site. They have all of the videos up for both days except the "Know the Show" one. Didn't Cat say she accidentally deleted her video of that? Wouldn't it be strange if Disney lost their video too!!!!

<-<-<-<- CLICK on the picture!!!!

Is it just me or do the commentators get on your nerves too? I know they're trying to add a little comedy to the videos. It sounds like they were doing a commercial for the towels at WDW to me. Has anyone else noticed the fluffiness and body of the high quality, high end towels?? I think all of us agree that a fluffy towel is what you want when getting out of a pool or out of a bathtub. I would much rather hear more from the contestants than them.

JUSTIN - OUCH!!! That had to hurt.

JUSTIN & TRIPP - Great job on the TOWELAGOMI elephants!!! I like the simpler look myself. I think David went a little too far with his. If either of you happen to see David, tell him he did a good job on his FOUR LEGGED TORTOISE (as opposed to the others we've seen.) Way to go David on showing the Surratt like pointillism by using those hygiene products!!! :artist:

JUSTIN & TRIPP - What was the Cinderella Suite really like? Was it as amazing as it looks in the pictures? Did that have anything to do with the afternoon with the Dream Squad? What special dreams were you able to bestow upon some unsuspecting Disney family?

The videos and pictures of the suite have nothing on really seeing it in person and walking around in it. It was amazing. I was afraid to touch anything. The bathroom (above the tub in particular) was very cool! Maybe one day I will win a stay in the suite.

The Dream Squad shadow was something different. That was another incredible experience for all of us. We learned a little about how it [YOAMD] works, and got to see some magical moments as they happened: Fast Pass, Pin Trading, & Jedi).

I'll try to get on tomorrow and answer more questions. Gotta get some sleep now.
