ok i can top the mistaken for sister,,
aboutt 15 years ago i had a distant (4th or 5th) cousin that murdered his wife.
his name was Jerry Allen, mines Jeffrey Allen,
we had hte same hair cut.(long somewhat curly, worn in pony tail)
we both wore full beards
hairlines both receding
same size,, hieght/weight
same age
we even both drove brown chevy trucks(same yera model)
he lived aboutt 30 miles south of us in LA
(same town as lucyanna girl lives in now)
we had never met,at least not as adults, we met as kids at family reunions, but were not close
after hearing of his arrest, on the news
for over a year i could not go into LA with out the cops harrasssing me, following me, pulling me over,
the worst time we ewre mistaken, a great uncle to both of us passed on.
he was hte last member of the grand generation of the family, and my grandmother and i went to his funeral to represent our branch.
jerrys mom and dad were there, when i walked in the door, his dad turned white as asheet, and his mom fainted. they both , along with several other members of the family believed that he had broken out of jail to come to the uncle funeral it was almost an hours delay as granny and i proved that i was not jerry to the other family members.
and i still believe that the law enforecement officials there, after discovering we looked so similar, ran seveeral checks on me vs him to see if i was involved in the murder.
