The thing I most regret looking back at my trip is missing The Dapper Dans.

I looked up their times for the day while on the Monorail heading to rope drop and tried to commit to fitting a show into the day's plans. Unfortunately spring break crowds and plan adaptations bumped their show to overlooked status.

What are some of the best ways to watch their different shows so for my next trip I can give Dapper Dans a definite spot in planning?

Are all of their shows year round the exact same and in the same place? I've seen a few different variations at Disneyland depending on season and show location.

We missed them on our 1st trip and I was determined to catch them on our 2nd!

They were dressed up in their Christmas attire and sang Christmas songs. It was worth the effort to get there to see them!

We have been trying to catch them for several trips, even sitting at the place where we thought they would be for 15 minutes and never seeing them. Finally on this last trip we saw them on the way out of the park on the right hand side of Main Street at the end just before the circle. They were very entertaining, and we would like to see them again during our May trip. I noticed there were speakers in the building above them for their show. Are there other places they stand sometimes or will they be in the same spot for all of their shows? What other specific places gave you seen them perform?

If you are on an extended trip (6 days or more), plan an entire morning where you simply don't leave Main Street. For us, that makes so much more sense than repeating rides over and over. There is so much to enjoy on Main Street, but most of them are morning offerings so they do not interfere with the afternoon parade. We had planned such a morning in October, 2016, but Hurricane Matthew got in the way and wiped out a day and a half of our carefully planned trip. We're looking forward to trying it again on our next trip.

We did a morning on Main Street one time. It was my husband's request and I was not too happy about it at first, but it turned into my favorite day at Magic Kingdom. We rode most of the Main Street vehicles, including a private trolley ride with the Dapper Dans serenading us up Main Street.

The Dapper Dans are awesome!! I always make a point to see them at least twice during my trip. I'd make it a priority while at MK next trip. They're so entertaining. Grab a schedule when you enter the park. They even have their show times listed on the website, but I dont think they post it too far in advance though.

To answer an above question, they can be in any of several possible spots around Main Street. Including inside Tony's when it comes time to open the restaurant for lunch or dinner. So if it's time for a set, just wander around a bit. And they may be a few minutes late, as well.
Many of the Dans also perform with the Voices of Liberty, so besides being good comedians, they're very fine singers as well. (The legendary Kevin Miles, for instance, retired from the Dans not long ago.)

They are on my to do list. I never have caught them but plan to in Sept

My DD loves the Dapper Dans. She could sit there and listen for hours!

Pro-tip! Wander around Main Street early in the morning until you catch the Dans. Then ask them where and when they'll be performing next! If you do this, you can easily stalk... I mean, follow! Them through their entire day. :thumbsup2

I think that sounds like how I should plan it. Instead of going for the earliest Fastpass+ times I'll start with times after lunch then do a Main Street morning. I've done the Disneyland trolley with the Dapper Dans serenade, shows on Main Street, and many watches of the Halloween show on Rivers of America, but never seen them in Magic Kingdom.

Yeah, and I think I need to go even further and ask cast members when we arrive to the park in the morning if they have specific locations planned for the day for the show times. When I looked at the guide online it had the show times but no guide on where to see them. Even if we didn't get distracted and sidetracked on our last trip I would have been walking around guessing where they are for a specific show that I made a hard time to see them?

Now I want to see the Dapper Dans perform alongside Voices of Liberty in the Rotunda.

@cigar95 Yes this is very true. They could be anywhere on main street. @CplUseless I remember one time I had to ask the CM where they would be on main st because i couldn't find them. She pointed out where they'd exit from, so i'd just wait there. They come out of the same exit as the parade enters (gates located to the right side of city hall).

We met the Dapper Dans when we went for the flag lowering ceremony. My kids got to actually lead the Pledge of Allegiance, so they chatted with the Dans for a bit leading up to that. A very special memory of our trip to WDW:love:

Even this can change sometimes. It's not uncommon for them to exit the onstage area through a gate on Center Street. I've even seen them walk off to Liberty Square.

We are going in September and hopefully will hit a MNSSHP. I'm hoping to see the Cadaver Dans there!

Yeah, that was one of the highlights of the halloween party. We actually saw them at Disneyland, on a raft over the fog strewn Rivers of America. They sang spooky classics like Grim Grinning Ghosts.
