Loving this report so far Kimberly! Especially where you mention Minnesota!! My beloved state just doesn't get enough recognition anywhere being in "flyover" country!

My girls are the same age as yours! DD7 thinks she is outgrowing princesses, but I beg to differ. She is loving Tinkerbell lately and is collecting her pins.

I'm not as Up North as you, but I will definately swim in January...and have in past years. I call myself a Mid-western, but Wisconsin can be cold. When we are in WDW, my family usually will spend our entire vacation in shorts, t-shirt and a sweatshirt...regardless of the wind and weather. Any chance to swim and there is 2 feet of snow at home...heaven! Great start to your PTR! I wish I would have switched to a Deluxe for the savings. My dream hotel is the Contemporary, but that will have to wait. We will be at Pop. Maybe we will meet up sometime within your vacation. I'm also excited to be at Epcot for the Chinese New Year! Great start!

Great job...sometimes I think about starting one, but I don't think it would be very interesting...we made our reservations and haven't changed anything since.

CHAPTER 4 (PART 1) : SHOPPING, SHOPPING, SHOPPING

So here I am at my computer, again! It seems to me I have spent a great deal of time in this same place! A couple of hours a day at least! I get a lot of stuff done here at my computer! I keep in touch with my friends, both far and near, I pay bills, I read, I research, I DIS and I also SHOP!

Yes, that's right, I love to shop online! Especially at the Disney Store! We are not as fortunate to have an actual Disney Store here in our city. I think the closest one would be in Minneapolis, which is a mear 6 hrs away! The closest CANADIAN store would be in Winnipeg, which is 8 hrs away! So, I do my necessary disney shopping on-line. However, I only shop when there are sales to be had!

The past 8 months or so have found me spending a lot of time ogling the wares at disneyshopping,com! I have been very fortunate to come across some excellent bargains! So far, I have purchased at least 15 t-shirts, a couple of tank dresses, and a couple of headbands! Here are a couple of the shirts I have bought!

The girls also have minnie shirts just like this one!


I also enjoy hunting for bargains on Ebay! I have found many a good deal from this treasure trove of deals! I have found AND purchased some tshirts and also some wallet lanyards. I will try to post photos of those when I can. Hopefully soon! Like I said before, THAT will require my camera and a SECRET trip to the very SECRET Disney Bin!

Aww, those shirts look like so much fun! I keep thinking about getting my sisters and I some, but i'm not sure they'll be into Disney character shirts. I think the younger sister would be into it, but am not sure about the older one. Do you think a 31 year old tomboy would wear something like that?

I too am an EBAY fiend...right now I'm trying to find a very nice denim skirt!! I hope to find a good deal this weekend!!!

Have you tried disneyoutlet.com (or something like that) they have a great site with all the stuff they sell at their outlet store you can find even better deals...I got t-shirts for like $3.00

Yes I have tried the outlet! It is very hard to get what I need there sometimes! When they have a super sale the stuff goes rather quickly and often it is tough to get the right sizes! I do keep trying though!

Well, I have never claimed to be a "girlie girl" although I am not quite a tomboy either. I wear Character shirts all the time! My shirt drawer is full of them! If you can find a good deal (try disneyshopping's outlet store) I say go for it! Or just ask her if she would!

That is very true..they do have a minimal selection at times...I'm hoping for Thanksgiving we'll have some great sales!!

Well, I just have to say that I am greatly upset that Universe of Energy will be closed during our trip! I had just convinced Ken that it was really cool and had him excited about doing it! Rats! Oh well! Next time, I guess!
