The Tagliarchy Mansion

Where's Huggabaloo been? I know he's going to hate missing all the birth stories.

Whoops, I thought you were talking about the other thread. I loved your comment on the thread you linked...too funny.

Am I to assume that none of y'all got any personality quirks what-so-ever? Perfect people, huh?

Yep Lewski709, you caught them... Day care is a thing best decided by the parent, we have some horror stories in our area...Worse than the birthing stories. What is this pluggy thingy anyway?

llebrekniT, I would think she would like #1 better, more girley...Might I suggest combo ones that become shoes...at WDW they can be used to make her taller to get on rides. (heheheh) Aren't "In-line" skates more popular now? RRBB says we don't need a passporter, I am not sure what it would do for us...

gotta get back to work...

:bounce:

Welcome to the crazy house iluvtink . Love your color!

Kismetdreams, the wedding sounds like it will be beautiful. (And the food doesn't sound to shabby either! :smooth: ) We had a string quartet that played Handel's Water Music and Taco Bell's Canon too! :teeth:

llebrekniT, where do you find these smilies! LOL. Loved the pants wetting smilie. He-he.

Okay, time for a whine. Just got off the phone with my only sister who has lived in Atlanta for the last 7.5 years. The one who I haven't visited in 3 years. Rob and the kids haven't been down there in about 5 years! She does come home to Syracuse every summer and every other Christmas. I feel bad that we don't get down there more, but it's a 16 hour drive! And $1,000 for airline tickets is a lot of money for us to pay for a long weekend visit. Am I horrible for not wanting to spend a week's vacation in suburbian Atlanta?

Well, she was laying on the subtle guilt. "So, what are your vacation plans this summer? Are you going to get down this way?..." I told her that we were thinking about going to FW in late August. "Oh, to do the Disney thing?" (you can just see her eyes  when she's talking LOL)

Well, I guess it's over to expedia for me to see if I can find tickets to go over Easter weekend. (I'm not hold my breath though.)

Thanks for listening to me whine. I feel better now.

I thought "old school" when I saw #2 too. Very cool. Hey, has anyone seen any of the old school sneakers that are out now? I even saw Roo's. Remember those? With the pocket?

Quirks. Hmmmmm. Geez, I don't know. I am so perfect. ;)

I guess it's my pet peeve with noisy eaters. I hate smacking. I hate when people "cling" the fork on their teeth. Ugh! Just drives me nuts.

BTW, I forgot to tell Nephosaurus what a great job he did with his tour! :bounce:

BichonBarb, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she move there? If so, that's her doing and you shouldn't feel obligated to spend money to visit her. Maybe she could come along on your Disney vacation?;) And you're cheatin' by listing a pet peeve instead of a quirk. Come on, don't you have any funny little issues at all? I was going to get to the pet peeve's tomorrow. So for today, I'll just be sitting here waiting for you tell me something about you that's a bit strange......

OhanaThe plug, hmmmmm, it's a big gob of gloop which acts as a barrier against infection. Once it drops, supposedly the little baby will soon be making its' entrance into the world. And this may scare you but you think a little bit like my DH. He's always wanting to put lifts in her shoes to get her on RockNRoller Coaster.

OK, I went with the old school version. Just reminds me of being in 2nd grade so much.:D

I go to one staff meeting and I have all this catching up to do!

I have a Passporter book love it!

Bichon Barb hope you figure out what you need to do about visiting your sister. If it's any consolation I have a brother, who I love buttttttt so glad he lives 3000 miles away!

Gotta do work now so I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Thanks llebrekniT! She was once complaining to me about how my parents don't go down there and visit them enough. And that's exactly what I told her (nicely). "You moved away--not us. This is home base. You can come home and have lots to do. See your friends and family. See DH's friends and family, etc." She didn't get it.

Vacation time is hard to come by--especially when you have your own business. And darn it. I wanna go to Disney!!!!!

OMG! I just thought of a quirk, but I don't know if I can say it. Tinkbackwards, I'll PM it to ya.

In-line are more popular but she hasn't learned to skate yet and I think it may be easier to learn on the quads and move to in-line next. Her foot's still growin' so regardless, she'll need a new pair before long.

As for the Passporter, ah yes, you guys strike me as Passporter people for sure. RRBB would most likely have the cutest Passporter around, she could give it such flair. It really is a great organization tool and has so much handy info. I can't live without one now.

Speaking of which, I need to tweek mine a little.

Morning everyone! Hope y'all slept well! :)

Lots of talking today! Pretty soon, they are going to make us move again...

llebrekniT, I defiantely like the 2nd skates better!

As for quirks...I have way too many...I hate repeditive noise, people that make noise when they eat, people that ask the same questions over and over...

But, my number one, is smelly people! UGH! And I work with one...I can smell a mile away! It developed hen I wwas preggers and never went away, so now, I am tortured by stinky people! LOL!

Where do you get a Passporter? Are they bookstore books, or do you have to order them online? I've not heard of them.

Thanks!

Just got back from a LOOOOOOONG VOAD meeting (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster). Yikes. Lots of politics and people talking to hear their voices. Of course, with my big mouth, I kept saying things like, "Let's table that for a later discussion" or "That isn't relative to what we intend to cover today but it's an excellent point. Can we talk offline" or "We've talked this point to death, let's either vote or drop it".

Got quite a few smiles with subtle thumbs up. But when someone glared at me, I could feel the burn.

Guess that's one of my idiosyncracies! Not know for my political tact!

You can download preview pages of the Passporter at www.passporter.com. Check it out before you buy.
I thionk there is a discount at deb wills site.. but for some reason I can't get in to give you the link..

I can't stand for sippy cups to have the wrong lid. Stupid, yes.

Kismetdreams, The Passporter is a super handy-dandy guide book. It has lots of good maps, information about resorts, restaurants, parks, etc. It also has various places to write information about your trip (planning, places to writes PS's, memories, etc). I bought mine at a local bookstore.

Kinda like me asking people for personal quirks and all I'm getting are pet peeves!

Let me help you guys come out in the open a little more. I have to sleep with pillows completely surrounding me or I don't sleep. One under my head, very firm. Two body pillows, one each side. Furthermore, there has to be a little weight on my feet, such as the quilts pulled back and accordion folded, I stick my feet under them. When we check into a hotel I immediately request 4 extra pillows. I must have plenty or I won't be able to sleep at all. I have sleep down to an exact science.

geffric, thanks! I did a search after I posted and found the page (shoulda done that first, but hey...I got two more posts out of it. Heehee). I think it might be a little too much planning for me. I think I'll just type stuff up on the laptop and be happy with that. :)

Kismetdreams, how old is your DD? I didn't realize you had a daughter until you mentioned it yesterday.
