The Tagliarchy Mansion

For those of you doing the NCAA Tagliarchy Challenge: Once you register, go to options, then personal. It is there than you can change "your name". I changed mine to deadheadbelle so none of you axe murderers would show up here. :)

Also, if you want to play, but don't want to go through the registration, I can add other people myself. You can just PM me your picks & I can fill out your bracket.

I can't wait for the House by the Lake. I think Rick needs to tell us the story if the house by the lake (said spookily).

Is it just me, or is the Dis running real slow and going down a lot today?

Definitely not just you. It's driving me crazy!

Hmmmmmmmm, must be you two. I am having no trouble at all.

Hi everyone,
geffric, ibouncetoo and Lewski709 I've sent you PM's.

So how has everyones day been? Mine was OK. My class at school are getting better although they are still quite hard work (they are so chatty and fussy, too many of them want to be the boss and end up arguing over tiny things!!) We had a minutes silence today for the vicitims of the Madrid terror attacks.(All European countries had a 3 minutes silence at 11am). The kids are really good when we do things like this (we have a minutes silence every year in November for rememberence day) and we had the Spanish flag flying at half mast on the flag pole all day.

So does anyone have any plans for the evening? I'm just finishing my cup of tea and then am going to ASDA (walmart) for some flowers for my classroom, some deserts for dinners this week and to stock up on cadbury's chocolate bars and hot chocolate for some of you guys!!

I'll check back in later. :wave2:

plans: a possible late dinner with DBF(keep the vibes coming that fate gives us a break)

Oh my gosh... I just was almost done with this LOOONNNNNGGG message with a bunch of personal stuff, all in colors and everything, and I went to my bookmark for the Tagliarchy Color Wheel to find Dan Murphy's color to wish him a happy birthday, and instead of opening a new window like it usually does, my computer erased my whole message and gave me the wheel in that window. Waaaah.

Well... I could never be so clever as to recreate the whole post again, so I'll hit some highlights.

DH and I got back safe and sound from Nashville last night. First trip in a car in 18 years without a child present. It was kind of twilight zonish... really peaceful, really quick with no extra stops... We went to the Red Cross' Rhapsody in Red fundraising gala (DH used to be on the Board so we go every year, even from Ohio now). He was dashing in his tux with the red bow tie and red cumberbund, and I wore this really fun big satiny billowy full red skirt that was a blast to dance in. DH saved me some agony and bought something at the auction. He bought a Martin guitar autographed by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, and now I don't have to worry about his upcoming big 50 birthday present! Yeee haaa!
Came home to oldest DD feeling sick. This a.m., the Doc confirmed that she has raging strep throat. I have offered to pay the co-pays for the family she stayed with if they get strep ... seems like the least I could do! :(

Okay, here goes again..

Dan Murphy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! How about a Chicago DIS meet in Columbus for a change of scenery??? :teeth:

HuggaBaloo, Rather than read back 100 pages, where are you moving? Still in Lookout Mountainland? I waved down I-24 on Saturday night and blew you a kiss. Did you get it??? :wave2:

Lewski709, ohanafamily, and RRBB
- I would love to do the exchange thing, but someone needs to tell me in user-friendly English what I need to do! It's a great idea, whatever it is!

RickinNYC - I'll have to miss your scary stories. I am one big cluckin' chicken when it comes to slasher stuff... but I do want to know how much food is 35,000 pounds? Is it bigger than a dump truck? A semi? Good luck with it. What a great job you have.

What is WCC?

Where is everybody!?!

OK, I'm going to sign up for the NCAA thingie.

Deadheadbelle - I'm in on the NCAA Challenge... I picked KY... my momma is a tried and true Wildcat. I think she was at KY when Coach Rupp was there ... I think. Anyway, did you pick KY, or Louisville, or Murray State???? If you picked KY, I hope it's a really BIG Wonka bar so we each get a lot when we win! ;) Thanks for putting it together. I signed up as iluvtink so you can track my winnings! ha ha! I pick according to quirky stuff like: my friend Lezlie went to Michigan State so I'll pick them, and Gonzaga is such a great name, I'll pick them... etc. I've won money that way before, but people who pay attention to basketball hate me and my system.

geffric and ibouncetoo you guys don't need to send Oreo's to our little english friend. Trust me when I say, I'm gonna take care of her.

Bichon Barb - Country music isn't ALL bad... don't you like Faith Hill? She doesn't sound anything like Dolly Kachunga Parton and Porter Pompadour Waggoner sounded when I was a little kid in south Louisiana! I like most country and bluegrass music, as long as it doesn't make my dogs and DH howl ...

Shoot, I know I had more messages, but thanks to my pea brain, they are now scattered to the winds.

Oh wait, I wanted to tell Kismetdreams to have a wonderful, beautiful, magical wedding. I wish I could be a butterfly on a flower there so I could see it all in person! God bless you both.

DD is croaking for me, so I have to run... I'll try to check in tonight before bed If y'all move, will someone tell me so I'm not lost? Thanks!

Hey everyone!

iluvtink, I am so glad you joined the competition. You might want to go in & under Options choose Personal. It is there you can put iluvtink so we know who you are. I don't know why, but they don't list your registration id as your team name. Same goes for you Lewski709. Right now, there is one person with no name & I assume it is you.

As far as UK goes, I am not a fan. I did go to school there, but I was never a big fan. Not a big Louisville fan, either. Murray State? Nope not them either. I moved to Kentucky from Michigan when I was in Junior High. I have always been a Michigan fan. Of course, I'll be cheering for them this year in the NIT :( . I haven't filled out my brackets yet.

Well, General Hospital is on....I'm outta here

BOARDS ARE TOO DARN SLOW TODAY!!!!!!
