Hi all, I haven't been back to WDW in about 4 years under the new Lightning Lane system. We will have LLMP and will be resort guests with Early Entry. I have a few misc questions:

1) I saw somewhere that when you do your initial LLMP selections in advance, the system won't let you overlap with other reservation plans, but that at Midnight the night before the park day this restriction goes away and they will let you do some overlap. Is that correct? For example, if we have a 9:10am breakfast reservation we wouldn't be able to book an 8:15am Lightning Lane in advance, but after midnight the night before the park day, we would be able to then start booking lightning lanes at 8:15am if available?

2) Just triple confirming-- Early Entry perk for resort guests becomes available on check-in day, correct? Doesnt matter that you won't be checking into the on-property hotel until late in the day?

3) Guardians ride queue-- if our kids (17 and 13) don't want to actually ride the ride (boooo) with my wife and me, if we go into the Standby line they would be able to go through that with us and watch the pre-show and then just bail at the point where you get to the ride vehicles?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, this is correct. You are eligible for EE both on check-in and check-out day plus all days between.

Yes. I'm not sure about details for exit but there is always an exit option prior to boarding the ride vehicles.

I can't ride Guardians but will wait in line with my wife then bail out at the end so she doesn't have to be by herself in standby. The CMs have never given me a hard time about it.

All attractions have an exit prior to riding for the great reason you share! As long as you are tall enough to ride the attraction you may join your party in line but then exit prior to boarding. Just let a CM know and they will show you the way for you to exit and meet your party after they ride.

If you are concerned about this (which you don’t need to be, you qualify) why not do online check in? I haven’t gone to the front desk to check in since it has been offered. I just get a text when the room is ready and go right to the room.

Either way, you can take advantage of early entry on check in day.

To set your mind at ease on this- numerous guests who have Early Entry aren’t even Disney Resort Guests, therefore Disney has no way to even know their check-in status. They are from partner type hotels that Disney has an agreement with to offer Early Entry to their guests. Disney only checks that guests have a reservation linked to MDE at a qualifying hotel for that day.

I have no idea about number 1 on your list, I haven’t heard that before. But I’m not sure that that many rides would be available with that early of a start time on the morning of. I would book your 3 and then possibly try to modify after midnight.
