DVC Icebreaker- Five Questions!

DVC Resorts you own at: BLT, AKV, RIV, PVB, VGC

Funniest DVC Memory: 2 or 3 days jumping from stand to stand to get the magicband thing, finally got one and couldn't hold it comfortably longer than 10mins

Favorite DVC event you've ever attended: Moonlight Magic

Favorite DVC Trip and Why: every single one, I just love it

If DVC would grant three wishes, I would want them to: 1. I would love all of your wishes to come true, cool ideas!
2. More exclusive experiences. 3. D. Cruise for members a bit cheaper

Funniest: Not sure what to put here?

Favorite event: One day we went up to the EPCOT lounge and noticed they had a table set up in the little backdrop area. As a surprise and delight, not announced at all, Stacia Martin was there and was drawing portraits of your favorite Disney character on demand from memory. Watching Donald or Goofy come to life on the paper was incredible.

Favorite trip: I have loved all of my DVC trips, some more than others. I hate to pick a favorite (it's like picking a favorite Little Debbie). But my first DVC trip will always be special. We bought at RIV and booked our first welcome home for about 4 months later, but stalked the site and found a long weekend available at Jambo in a savanna view studio for about a month out. We booked it and arrived at the resort (neither of us had ever been there before) and were of course blown away as anyone who goes to Jambo the first time would be.

I remember I was taking a photo of the amazing lobby and flipped the camera around to take a selfie and who was behind me but Chip.

Waking up every morning of that trip to drink coffee with the giraffes and zebras still amazes me. And roasting marshmallows every night with the giraffes walking around is always incredible as well. And hearing the flamingos fuss at each other by the hot tub.

Needless to say, shortly after that trip my guide called us and said they were having a special on AKV points and we bought 200. Before our "first welcome home" stay, we had already added on and doubled our points total.

Three wishes: more discounts (such as at quick service venues at WDW), an evening reception at all DVC resorts (similar to the cookies they have in the Big Murggie's Den at HHI - doesn't have to be anything fancy), and do something with all the space at SSR if that spa is never going to reopen.

What was welcome home Wednesdays like?
The DVC programs on DCL would be closest to something happening now. You would usually leave with a token like a baseball cap. They took place in Jellyrolls!
There were pins that were given for participation and winners in the games.
