And since Anne mentioned construction on 81 I'm thinking that 78 may be the best route in for me.

Val & I are looking at buying from our local AAA office that would give us $10 off ($43). Actually as I look closer, since we are seniors we should get it for $32. These are one-day tickets.

We're bringing our 8YO grandson Connor and it looks like the AAA rate for him will be $30.

Actually when I look at the ticket, it is only good for ages 9-54, so you would probably have no choice as you would have to get the senior ticket....(even though you don't look like a "senior" )The regular rate for a child is $32.95, so you're still making out slightly better with the AAA ticket for Connor.

OK, there is a little wrench in the plans. I called the hotel to check up on a few things and was told no food/drink other than water in the pool area. We are free to eat/drink in the breakfast area.

I have wine, cooler, wine bottle opener, plastic wine cups, plastic cups set aside and some of the beer (bottles)... I was going to get a couple more 12 packs in cans... now I'm thinking bottles again (prefer the taste)... Andrea & George... think we have any restrictions that we need to ahrere to?

Trust me. I've been to MANY a weekend car show where the gang just set up the spread in the parking lot with lawnchairs and coolers. As long as maybe someone brings or buys a couple of citronella candle buckets, we'll be fine anywhere. We ARE the party - we don't need a special locale.

I am going to call Nancy at the hotel tomorrow to double check on allowing alcohol/bottles in the lobby and breakfast area of the hotel....I don't think there is anything else you need to bring, sounds like your already bringing everything and the kitchen sink!

I'm not going to speak for George, but, I *think* we are going to go to the Hummelstown location just assuming that it is the closest to the hotel. I don't have any preference and if anyone knows why one is better than the other, let us know.

Awwww .....I was kind of thrown when she said no food/drink by the pool - I don't want us to be wandering around looking for a spot for our party
