I found this in the rules this week: Team point totals will be updated by 6:00 PM Pacific Time the day following the night of each new Survivor: Micronesia broadcast. So I guess that's our mark. Whatever points you have at 9pm eastern tonight are yours, right or wrong. Good luck to you all!

So why was Cirie so intent on getting rid of Yau? I get that he is physically weaker. But Eliza is too and that's who the rest of her alliance wanted to vote out. I don't buy the bit about being afraid he would find the immunity idol like he did on his first season.

Going with the two couples as an alliance makes sense to me. They proved their loyalty to her by voting the way she wanted them too. If they can ride their alliance down to 5 then she becomes the swing vote again and is looking at final 3.

No time to count exactly, i need to get ready. But how many of use had 3/4 on the favorites?

Yay! Just finished watching! My plan to catch Pete WOULD HAVE worked big time if he hadn't changed up his team last minute on me! We both ended up with 3 FANS on our teams.... so no way to close that gap with the risk I took.

Pete, I think Cirie was intent on voting Yau-Man off because he's a smart man and therefore a huge threat. Eliza is the weakest person on that tribe and can get the boot at any time... When the numbers get tighter, I'd much rather be up against a weak player than a strong player... I thought her choice was smart. He's not helpful physically for challenges, but yet he's a threat because he's smart, he's deceitful, and you can't trust a word out of his mouth.

The more I think about it, the more Cirie has totally earned my respect with that move.

Yay! Just finished watching! My plan to catch Pete WOULD HAVE worked big time if he hadn't changed up his team last minute on me! We both ended up with 3 FANS on our teams.... so no way to close that gap with the risk I took.

Could be... I've never watched Survivor before this, so I'm not familiar with Yau-Man other than what I've seen him so far. My first impressions could be wrong.... but I do see him as a threat. I would not want to go up against him. Would much rather go up against someone like Eliza when the numbers are smaller and the chances bigger for being voted off

I was 2/2 because I wanted to take a risk with the Fans, but not TOO much of a risk. You had all Favs at that point! So I was pleased that I had the opportunity to gain some points on you.

Then I come home at 7:55 EST and find out you went with 3 Fans Quickly did a swap of a Fav for another Fan to at least match you... should have gone all 4 Fans... but I was a little chicken to step out on a limb like that in case they lost big time.

Oh well, I think I might have gained on you a little. Next week is another week!

I expected MikeyB to hold some hard feelings, but I expected Joel had proved his point and was over it. Doesn't seem to be the case. Kind of funny but looks like it might not be so obvious what the pecking order is over on the fans.

But Yau didn't have immunity. He had to play it at the first tribal council. He hasn't been to Exile Island yet and I don't think there's any reason to believe that he will go. He could ride someone's coat tails but if he thinks Jonathan is going to carry him then he's not as smart a player as people give him credit for.

I think either she has a personal beef with Yau, or she picked him to expose other people's alliances. She put Jonathan totally on his heels by forcing the point. The alliance of lovers agreed to vote with her despite the fact that they wanted to boot Eliza instead. So it goes back to Cirie's comments on the video confessional, she thought people should be working for her vote (carrying her on a chariot type thing, she said). The two couples went against their own plan to give Cirie what she wanted. That sign of loyalty was what Cirie really wanted.

This alliance of 5 looks pretty strong on the Favs side. Eliza, Jonathan and Ami are in real trouble if they go back to tribal again.

Yep, Cyrie will be the next one voted out in the ultimate screwjob, any other decision would be stupid. They didnt ally with her, they bought her vote.

I questioned her strat until Jonathon shot his mouth off, I then realized she is stronger in the couples alliance than with the other group. The couples will have to make their move at 5 not at 4, otherwise they will have a tie at the final four, and risk it over nothing. Cirie has a great shot at final 3 in the way she is handling herself. Past 2 seasons, final 3 is all it takes. Plus maybe pavarti and amanda even meant it when they said final 3 with cirie. Those girls are both good at the classic backstab as we have seen.

Something no one has pointed out yet, and I thought I should mention it just to warn Pink. I doubt this will happen yet, but I fully expect it to happen in three or four weeks. Traditional Survivor is played over 39 days with 16 contestants. This season is still 39 days, but there are 20 contestants. In the past when they have had more than 16 contestants, they've voted off two in one week sometimes, usually one from each team. Expect it to happen again and be prepared.

Scores are up!

I'm sitting at 590. I didn't get points for Alexis crying and I know she cried after her miserable night in the rain.... And I didn't get bonus points for James hacking away at that coconut. (Although Pete tells me that it was not a coconut, but something that looks very very similar to a coconut....)

Managed to close the gap a little bit between Pete and I so I guess I'm content, but CBS sure is making it hard!
