Chad wishes we would stay home!! He gets mad when I plan things all the time. We hardly get to see his bro and sis so it was nice to spend some time with them.
Hollie loved getting her mani/pedi! Then, of course, she had to give one to her daddy!!

I wish I stayed home!!! I have worked with the State of Georgia for going on 13 years now. Chad is going to school right now. He did work for the City and ended up hurting his back. (He has scoliosis, but his mom didn't get it fixed when he was younger. She said there was nothing she could do about it, whatever!!) He had major back surgery in 2005 when Hollie was 4 months old. He was confined to bed for over a month! It was a very, very tough time. He still has bad problems and there is no way he will ever be able to do the jobs he used to do (FedEx, water department, etc.) so he decided to go to school and hopefully get him a job inside somewhere. Its been tough since his surgery, but we manage! We just get lucky going places every now and then but most of the time we aren't paying! If we had too, we wouldn't go!

Wow...ya met Chad in the Monster Mansion!? That's kind of cool. The ride sounds awesome! I want to ride it! Was he working at Six Flags too?

I wanna mani/pedi day too!! It looks like you guys had a great time at Six Flags. We had season tickets back in 2003 and it was so much fun. We would go to Cleveland almost every weekend. It's no longer a Six Flags, but it was fun none the less.
O.K., so how does your make up look perfect all the time? How do you not have racoon eyes? I have to ask what you use. Please do share.

Yes, we worked together. The first year I worked there I was in merchandising and I worked in the fudge shop at the back gate. Yum!!
The 2nd and 3rd year I was at the Monster Plantation. I worked with him in 94. You guys should come down and we will ride it!!! But, they are redoing it next year. We are actually taking Hollie back there November 2nd so she can ride it again. I am sad they are changing it, but it really does need a refurb BAD!!!

I used to love going to Six Flags all the time. But, times have changed there. When we worked there, we had to be nice and help people. The kids there now, UGH!!! They are horrible!!!

Aw, thank you!!! I use a whole lot of makeup! I actually use Mary kay foundation and powder. For my eyeshadow, I use MAC, Ulta, Urban Decay, and several others. Then for my mascara and liner, I use L'oreal or Cover Girl! I am a makeup ho!!! Seriously, I have 2 huge train cases, and about 5 plastic containers full of makeup. If I buy any new stuff, I have to hide it because Chad freaks out!! He's like, "Don't you have enough!!!" No sir, I don't.

this is the one thing i will NOT ride at six flags!!!! i hate that thing.

did you guys get to ride most of the coasters? although i of course prefer disney over any other theme park because of the magic, i love the rides at six flags. my three favorites are superman, goliath & deja vu! so much fun!!!! we've never been at halloween. was it cool?

Chad has never been one wanting to go out and party which is a good thing!!!

You and me both!! I don't do heights!!! We waited to ride Superman for only 15 minutes and when we were about to get on it...it broke down!! So, we jumped out of line and went to the Scream Machine and rode it. We went back and the wait was like an hour! Superman is our absolute favorite and we didn't get to ride it this time. Goliath was over 2 hours of a wait, but my niece and her friend rode it. Can you believe, they took down Deja Vu!! They put Thomas the Train town there now. We never got to ride that so we were a little disappointed.
Halloween used to be really cool there! They would have characters walking around the park dressed up and they have halloween shows which are awesome. But, thanks to budgets, they have took stuff away from Fright Fest for the past couple of years. Universal's Halloween Horror nights is so much better!

it's funny - i love ToT but i hate acrophobia (i'm sure i misspelled that). i think it's because ToT brings you up and down and sometimes it's short drops and sometimes bigger ones, plus you're enclosed. on the one at six flags you're outside and you just drop and that's it. i feel like i'm gonna pee on myself and then it's over!

bummer about superman. i love that ride.

goliath was 2 hours???? well, nevermind! i was gonna get ray to go to six flags sometime soon. he hasn't ridden goliath yet but there's no way he's waiting in lines like that.

no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! actually, i can believe it. it was always broken down. i think it's been there for like 5 or 6 years now and i've only ridden it twice because it was always broke down. the last time i went to six flags was august of 2007 and that was the 2nd time i rode it. it's an AWESOME roller coaster! after the first time i rode it i told ray i wanted one in my back yard.

I know what you mean, they just tilt you over and when I am outside on something straight up I freak!!!!!!!
They do have this thing you can buy called the Flash Pass (so not like Disney's) it is $50 bucks for 4 people and you have a separate line you go in. The most you wait is 10 minutes. If we had known it was only $50 bucks we would have gotten it! I just don't like how they make you pay for it! Why can't every park be as nice as Disney!!!!

Oh my gosh!!!!!!! That looks so fun!!!! I really wish I could have rode it but like you said everytime we were there it wasn't working!!!
