The Superfamily February 2009!! We're taking on the world!! MAJOR UPDATE 1/7

Jill is there. If you can take it, you can read on.

She says it is a beautiful night. They're getting ready to watch Hallowishes and see the Boo to You Parade. They saw Minnie and Mickey in their Halloween clothes earlier and danced with the villains at Cosmic Ray's. I wish you guys had been able to meet, too.

But, I think it is just awesome that you are waiting for your mom to be able to go with you later, so keep consoling yourself with what a great daughter you are!

Do you think you can plan to go to MNSSHP next October? I think Jill and I may try to do another short birthday trip then. We're thinking after the summer trip, if we can afford it, we might do a short birthday trip and a five or six day Christmas trip. Both of those trips last year were so much fun!

Awww, well I know I will be able to live it through her pictures when she gets back!!! I can't wait to hear all about it.

I am having some help with going through it, I am listening to live364 to the haunted mansion station. Plus, I have the CD I bought last year of all the music from MNSSHP. I listen to it everyday!!! :goodvibes

I sure hope we can plan to go next October!!

I love my mom and dad and would do anything for them to see Hollie get excited about Disney!

Well, since we are going to Disney in 5 weeks, I figured I would start putting things about that trip. Our big trip will be in February with our sweet Hollie.

But, since we are going next month, I will add that trip in here as well for a Pre-trippie!!

Okay, so most of you know we are going Nov. 12th through the 16th. It is going to be me and Chad along with his mom and stepdad. I know most of you are thinking, why is Hollie not going? To make a long story short, his mom planned to take us and not Hollie. She felt that Hollie was too young (yeah right!) and wouldn't remember any of it! (She still talks about last November!)

So, we were telling my parents about it and this was the plan. My parents haven't really been able to spend some one-on-one time with Hollie since my sister had her baby in January. It makes them feel bad because Hollie was the only grandkid for 3 years. She has her jealous moments!
So, my parents are going to spend that time with Hollie and take her to our lake house. She loves, loves, loves the lake! She and her pa (my dad) go fishing and they all ride in our boats. So, Chad and I can have a little vaca by ourselves. Which we would both rather have her with us, but it will be a nice little getaway for us too! This was the whole reason we were gonna take Hollie in October. But, things happened so now its February. Which we are really excited about!

So, on that note!! I will post our plans for November!

Okay, here it goes!!!!

We plan on leaving early, early on Wednesday, November 12th. Here are the plans and ADR's I have right now!

11/12/08-Arrive and check in at AllSM.
Rest a little and unpack
Go to the Polynesian resort and try some of their wonderful drinks at the Tambu Lounge
8:00 pm Spirit of Polynesian Luau

We have done this several times and love it! I know some people don't like it, but it is one of the dinner shows we do enjoy! I love the atmosphere! Since Chaddy wont' get on a plane, its probably the closest I will get to Hawaii. But, his older sis's boyfriend does own a home in Hawaii. She wants me to go with her and her friends next Summer for a trip. The only thing I would need to pay for is food and anything I buy there. I might actually consider it.....:lmao:

11/13/08
Epcot
We plan on getting there as soon as Rope Drop!

11:10 San Angel Inn
6:30 Coral Reef

I have heard bad reviews about SAI, but the last time we ate there in 2001, we loved it!!
CR, this will be our first time eating there. I have the custom menu's planned and also a diver! I am really excited about it!

11/14/08
8:30 am Chef Mickey's breakfast

Then Universal Studios afterwards. We haven't been there since 2002, so we will enjoy it!
Then.......get back to the hotel for MVMCP!! We plan on leaving US around 1:30ish. We usually get done there right around lunch. We want to get in the park for MVMCP at 4 pm. This year we plan on seeing the shows and getting more pics with everyone in there Christmas clothes!

11/15/08

Chad and I have 8:05 am for CP.
Then we are staying at MK all day long!

This day his mom and stepdad are going to DHS. I had to warn her it was Super Soap weekend, much to Chad's dismay! He was afraid she would want to go to MK. But, his stepdad hates going there with us!! :rotfl:
She is actually excited about the soap stars being there.

So, that is what I have so far!!!

Plans sound great. I had forgotten that you were going there with the in-laws. At least you will have some alone time without them. Happy planning.

I think the plans sound good! I'm curious to hear your review of San Angel too. Are you going to do a trip report? You need to and take a lot of pics at the party!!! Hollie will have a good time with your peeps. The MIL is a little loony though thinking Hollie wouldn't have a good time. :sad2: Kids do remember that stuff and I honestly think they have more fun that we do! I hear "Monorail" at least 10 times a day from the baby. (He tells me all about how Papa will ride the monorail....Grandma will ride the monorail...Aunt Ashley and so on.) It's so cute.

:lmao: Don't feel dumb! I have done the same thing many of times!!!

Thanks for the early birthday wishes!!
We have never been in February before. Is it nice and cool? How are the crowds?

:rotfl2: Thanks!

February is nice and cool. Sometimes you may need a sweater at night and sometimes not. The crowds are pretty low but even if it seems crowded on a day or 2 it's still better than summer because everyone's tempers seem to be better. :lmao: It's just more laid back.

Your November plans look FUN. Glad you guys are getting a possible MK day to yourselves.

I think that your plans sound great! Make sure you take lots of pics! I've had mixed service at San Angel. 2005, 2006 was great. Last September the food was good but the service was crappy. I still like the atmosphere though and will go back next year probably.

It is great that Hollie will have a chance to spend some time with your parents. The lake house sounds fun! I wanna go...I love fishing, boats and anything outdoors :)

On the Hawaii comment...one of my best friends lives on the lsand of Kauai. She has been trying to get me to come down there for 3 years! Will (DH) is scared of flying that far for some reason. So....I propose we take a DIS girlfriends trip down to Hawaii...I need a girls trip and Hawaii sounds like blast :)

First off, you must go to Hawaii. The chance may only come once. It is my dream to go there. (We could have been stationed there when I married my husband, we didn't want to be away from our families so we didn't take it). We picked FT.Benning GA instead. :confused3 I will always regret that decision.

Now onto your November trip. :woohoo: I wish I could see the Christmas decorations and costumes. That's why I love th DIS. You can show them to me....pretty please. Your MIL is mean not wanting to bring Hollie. She will have fun with your parents and will have a fabulous time next February. You will enjoy the private time with Chad. You can do grown up things...;) Your ADR's look great. I want to go to the Poly Luau, we really enjoyed the Ohana last year. Coral Reef was good too.

Has Hollie started her Christmas list yet? I'm sure you will find some great gifts on your trip. :wizard:

Yeah, I figured I would do a TR of the one in November. I know we will have some fun and I can bring some prizes back for Miss Hollie!!
I am telling you, the MIL is just wonderful:rolleyes1

Oh, I am so glad to hear that! I love going when it is nice and cool. Plus, with it not being that crowded, that will be a huge plus!!!

Chad's sister and brother came up this weekend to spend some time with us for our birthdays. She brought up Hawaii again and I told her I probably would do it!! :lmao:

The Christmas decorations are so nice!!! We loved it last year. My MIL is a witch, to say in a nice way! But, Hollie will have a ball at the lake with my parents.
Oh yes, she has told me that she wants a guitar and drums!! :lmao:

Thats how we were. We ate at SAI in 2001 and 2002 and it was great, but then I started to hear about it being bad. I just hope not!
Girl, I love being outdoors swimming, riding in the boat, and fishing!! We should have a trip to Disney at the Wilderness Camp Ground!! How fun would that be!!!
I second the Dis girlfriends trip to Hawaii!!!:goodvibes

I'm expecting our packet in the mail any day now. My MIL received hers last week, so hopefully ours will get here soon. I mean, we only have a little over 4 weeks until we go!

Okay, Chad's sister and brother came up this past weekend to visit with us for our birthdays! His sister brought her 2 daughters (our sweet nieces) and also her boyfriends kids! We went and ate at ESPN Zone in Atlanta on Sunday, and went to Six Flags on Saturday. Here are some pictures from this weekend:

Looks like a great time this weekend!

What is Monster Plantation? Can you tell I haven't been to Six Flags since 1994? :lmao:

Oh my gosh, it used to be the Okeefeenokee Swamp ride and they changed it to Monster Plantation in 1981. It's just a little boat ride through an old mansion with friendly monsters singing in it. Then you end up going through the Monster Marsh where there are bad monsters. Its really cute and they are actually closing it at the end of this year and re-doing it. I am sad about it because I worked there for 2 years and that is where Chad and I met!:goodvibes

Too cute! Both my kids are now at the age where every year they mention how they would like to go to Six Flags! It may be time to venture down I-20 again!
