The STRANGEST thing you have ever seen in the parks.....

Poop, yes poop in the que for Test Track. It was near the end of the line, at the top of the stairs, just when you turn left before you enter the movie area. Human feces in the corner.

I have no idea how long it was there...you could smell it. We reported it to CM immediately. How is that an OK thing to do? It wasn't small...

Another strange thing I have seen on numerous occasions ... women in high heels in the parks.
I always wondered why anyone would wear heels in the parks. I wear Crocs or tennies and my feet kill me!

GROSS!!!! I am thinking it must be one of those time saver things for those who break down their schedules by the minute. You know..."Sorry kid, but I don't care if you have to poop. Your poop time is not scheduled until 11:53 AM. What? Well I don't care if you do it right here. We are going on this ride." :scared:

That leads me to my strange thing I saw in the park. I once saw a woman pick her daughter up right in front of us on BTMR, let her puke over the side of the building, and then made her get back into line. The LAST thing I would want to do after puking is to get on a ride. I'm just sayin'.

Seen that. My wife and I were having a conversation with a CM that just happened walk by neat Space Mountain. A women then walked by in 6 inch high heels, full makeup and wearing an outfit perfect for clubbing (it was around 11:00 AM).

My Wife, CM and I all stopped talking and did one of those "you have to be kidding me looks" to each other. :rotfl:

This is the norm in Tokyo disney. We have been amazed at how fast they can run in those things at the opening
:rotfl:

I can honestly say I haven't seen anything THAT out of the ordinary at the parks. Just your normal run of the mill bad manners theme park stuff. But my favorite story is one I saw in a thread like this about 5 years ago on this site, where a family/group took off their shoes and sat there washing and soaking their feet in Cinderella's fountain!! I had to go find the pic, this one still makes me lol.

I still don't get the reasoning behind them putting their feet in the fountain! Did they look at it and go "Huzzah! A perfect, lovely decorated place for me and my kin to rinse out feet after a long day of walking! Why, Disney does think of everything don't they?!". They must be either foreign and doing that is the norm for them, or some very, very uncultured people who don't know better.

I genuinely don't think I've ever seen this! Weird, I'm gonna look out for it now.

While I get the jest of what you're saying here. It's still not permitted in the U.S. That wouldn't stand as an excuse if I were in another country. I can just see it..."I'm an American, and we don't have any laws against that". Too bad, in their country I go by their laws. It's negligent, while maybe ignorant, it's still negligent.

Totally agree. Check laws, rules, and general do's and do nots before you go to a foreign country! That's basic planning...

Thankfully I've never seen some of the gross behavior mentioned here. Not here nor elsewhere.

That said one of the fun parts of going somewhere is peoplewatching.
We love to just sit and relax and watch people go by :)
The way some people look, behave or both can be more entertaing than any show.:happytv:

Love this remark by the way:
As she walked by, I tried to avert my eyes elsewhere and a lady standing by me said "and she thinks they are looking at her because she looks good".
It is so perfect for describing some people, mind if I steal that line?

Peope are strange, just sit back and enjoy the show :)

A European couple plopped down next to us at a parade in MK - at the last minute, of course, crowding us out. As if that wasn't enough - their daughter who was about 4 years old began to fuss.

To keep the daughter quiet, the Mom pulled out a breast & nursed her! The Mom was nursing a 4-year-old right next to us! OMG - it was eeeeeeeewwwwwww!

 That's too old! If they're old enough to ask for it, they're too old to get it! :lmao:

I haven't seen that many strange things, although I've seen countless people in clubbing outfits, including high heels at 11am at AK and MK. :confused3

So my 16 month old baby who can say nana for nursing is too old? Cool, got it.

Two things that bothered us:

Woman on bus back to resort, crouches down by back doors and starts puking at the edge of the doorway, over and over. Not a fun bus ride for anyone. I wished that I had a shopping bag to give her so she could be more discreet.

We're playing in the Dino netting area at AK when a little girl of about 3 starts tagging along with our kids (who are a few years older). I start looking around for a parent and notice there isn't any around. After about 15 minutes of this, we're thinking about leaving the area soon and still no parent in sight, so we notify a nearby CM of this lone child. Just before we leave, we see the CM talking to a man. He leaves with the child. Turns out he left her there so he could go ride Dinosaur.

And I LOVE looking at people's shoes in the park. There used to be a website dedicated to inappropriate foot wear in WDW and Disneyland. So many spiky heels.

:rolleyes2 That isn't what I meant and I think you probably know that! Sorry you're so amazingly sensitive on the topic :thumbsup2 I'm sorry but 4-5 is too close to be breast feeding. If you want to still give your child breast milk when they're 5 or 25, I don't care. But 5 is too old to be breastfeeding in public. Express and put it in a sippy cup. A baby is one thing but once the child goes to school, are you going be visiting at lunchtime? :lmao:

Anyway back to the topic at hand.....

I'm glad to know that's not what you meant. Because I have heard this many many times in this country. "If they're old enough to ask for it, they shouldn't have it" and that is just plain bullcrap.

No, it's not what I meant. :thumbsup2 I don't care at what age people want to keep breastfeeding but I do think there is an age where it should be expressed. :confused3 People can do whatever they want :)

Back to the topic... loving all these strange stories!

I'm sure I've seen my share of things over the years, but I'm drawing a bit of a blank today. I did want to comment on the high heels thing though. I have seen women do it and I wonder how the heck they manage! But a friend of my family went for the first time a few years ago. She works in a bank and wears high heels every day. When she went to Disney, she brought sneakers thinking that it was the sensible way to go, but she said they really bothered her feet because she is so used to wearing high heels.

I think the strangest thing I've seen is a little boy peeing on a tree right outside the bathroom at Animal Kingdom.

I guess I can see "maybe" if there is no bathroom around... but come on... you are right in front of one!!

Must be something about AK. Here's ours?:

A girl (late teens - early 20s) peeing in the Animal Kingdom parking lot. We were walking to the parking lot, just past the bus stop, and heard some commotion. We looked over and saw a girl appearing to be sitting on a grassy section. We kept watching and as she stood up it appeared she pulled up her pants. The woman in front of us said something to her husband and I said, "Was she peeing" and the woman said, "yep, that's what it looked like".

A woman dressed like she was in a nightclub, with very straggly, coarse hair (like a witch), dancing provocatively and watching the Beatles Impersonators.

The funniest part was watching other people who were just showing up notice her.

Very odd woman.

Oh I'm pretty sure this is exactly what OP meant as strange/out of the ordinary. I would suspect this is another 'cultural difference' as this is pretty commonplace in Europe. In my admittedly few trips across the pond it was common to see this in the fountains in the town plaza. More so in smaller towns as it seems the larger tourist cities are disallowing it.

This is absolutely disgusting lol

I hate feet.

Is that a thing? My husband would absolutely have me do that for him lol

It is againist the rules and if your cuaght, they will scoop up what ashes they can and remove you from WDW property.

Now that said, it seems it happens alot more then people know about.
