That was a funny line when he said it. But I've always found the guy disingenuous bashing the character for 20 years after...when he was trying to build somekind of Oscar resume.
And then he did six days, seven nights and Air Force one...
...not to mention the trail of stinkers since.

Because his accountant told him to. Just come out and say you hate Lucas...instead of bagging your own movies.
Exactly! If he had Marlon Brando or Lawrence Olivier's career (or even Leonardo DiCaprio) I might understand it, but all of his "dramas" have been so boring. He's an action hero, and he needs to get over the fact.
...and I think that Harrison Ford might be the best actor working. He always seems so charismatic in a film, but when I see him doing an interview he's the most boring guy in the world.
