We got in the park about ten minutes after opening and by that point the line was already horrendous. By the time we had done three rides and headed over for breakfast, it was 5 hours long! There is no way you could make me stand in a 5 hour long line.

I know its still early in the day, but did anyone get on today? Did anyone try?

5 hours?! Eeek !

Is there NOT a FP for this attraction? Sorry I haven't been following the news on this opening, but we will be there in 14 days and now I am starting to think about it.

So, all these people willing to stand in these crazy long lines... are they mostly there only for these rides, so it doesn't typically impact the other rides/over all park, or is the park just even more crowded?

Mostly I'm thinking that I'm very grateful that my family isn't interested in either one of the new rides and we'll be walking around and past all these lines!

:faint: 5 hours? Heck to the no! Walt himself would have to be there signing autographs.

Add me to the "oh heck no" crowd. As much as I want to ride it in July when I'm there I am not standing in line for 5 hours.

How long was the FP line? Weren't you able to get a FP for it? I'd love more details about that. :goodvibes

Yikes! Is that because it was opening day? Hopefully by July they will have FPs up and running. I don't wait it 5 hours lines either! :sad2:

Fastpass is supposed to open June 4th so that is tomorrow or is that just for MM that it starts tomorrow?

I was at US today as well. Got in page...about 10am. TSM fastpasses were all gone by that time. Crowds.were ridiculous. I have never seen anything like it. Funny thing was it was hard to gauge. I went to Tower of terror and had a 13 minute wait. After that it would jump to 30 and then 60 minutes. Then back down.again. It was pretty miserable today for touring :woohoo:

Five hours is insane. It's like going through customs at LAX!

Doesn't anyone remember when Nemo opened?

Were you posting about WDW? There is no FP for TSM at Disneyland. :goodvibes

There are FPs for Star Tours. They were using it during a soft opening one day earlier this week. Guess they are not using it today.

:rotfl: So true.

I wonder why they were choosing not to use FPs today, hmm...hopefully they will tomorrow when I go. I am NOT waiting in a 5+ hour line.

That reminds me of the almost 6 hours my sister waited in line for Splash when it opened. I think I saw the rest of the park while she was waiting in that stupid line :lmao:

What is TSM? All I can think of is Toy Story but that is TSMM, and Space Mountian is just SM. Sometimes I forget my abbreviations. Don't even ask me what Mermaid is... AUAUAM... AMUAMA....:lmao:

I feel bad for all the poor souls who booked vacations for this weekend before the opening dates for star tours and little mermaid were announced...

The park was a mess today.... This would have ruined my Vacation!

There isn't a Fastpass option but if you stay at a Disney hotel you get two fastpasses to use on any attraction....

Any attraction that has a FP queue.

anything to do with the AP crowd you think? Not that the ap crowds affect the overall business of the park but the new ride maybe?

I thought I read that Star Tours will be open for magic mornings starting tomorrow? It will be interesting to see how this affects pp and the rest of Fantasyland.
