Welcome to my pre-trippie! I hope I don't bore you to tears with it. Yikes. I think its necessary to introduce myself.
This is me.
It may be slightly fuzzy, taken in my bathroom, and a little old, but I totally adore it. Anyway, the important thing to remember is my name is Abby. I'm sixteen years old and entering my junior year in high school. I have an obsession with all things Disney...but can you imagine, the last time my family took a trip to Disney I didn't want to go
? Yeah, I can't believe that either. This time around, I'm bouncing off the walls with excitement. My parents practically let me plan the trip! Enough about the trip itself now...back to me. But wait, you say, isn't this supposed to be a TRIP report, not an all about Abby? Well...yes, but I still would like to tell you all a little about me and my family and the spice girls before we actually start talking about the trip. I feel as though I'm rambling so let me start this over.
Me
- My name is Abby and I'm sixteen (you already knew that, I'm sorry). I'm also known to my family and friends as Baby or Abs. I'm real big on musical theatre. I dance, act and sing. I'm Co Business and Advertising Manager of my high school newspaper and aspire to someday be either a broadcast journalist. Two of my friends and I are known as the Spice Girls (I'm Baby). This is where the title of this thread comes in.
Now...when I was planning this trip my family and I were unaware that the two other members of the Spice Girls were actually going to be in Disney at the same time. We eventually figured out and decided that we were going to try and hang out as much as possible. Here's a little about them.
Kaitlyn (aka Posh)- Kaitlyn, or Kait, as we call her is also sixteen. She's also into theatre and has a gorgeous voice. Watch out...someday she's going to be Christine in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
Lauren (aka Ginger)- Lauren is once again involved in theatre. She's such a sweetie and totally Disney obsessed. She's a total Haunted Mansion junky and is really sad to hear that its closed.
Now...for the rest of my family.
Daddy- My Dad...although he probably will never admit it, really does enjoy Disney. However, he spends way more time planning trips to Las Vegas than Disney. I just don't see how that's possible. I think his favorite part of this trip is going to be the food. He loves to eat...although he seems to be allergic to everything in the world and is on at least 10 different medicines so he can eat everything he wants.
Mom- My Mom is a kid at heart. She loves everything Disney. She hasn't discovered DIS yet...but I'm sure its a matter of time before she does. She went to Disney the first time I think, about two years after it opened. After that trip, she's been hooked. Her favorite Disney movie is Mulan.
Brother- Ugh. My brother Adam is thirteen and just at that age when making fun of his older sister is cool. He loves thrill rides and basically everything his older sister doesn't. He plays football, baseball, and tennis. He also loves to eat and is thrilled with my restaurant choices.
Well, I think that's all for tonight.
