So I was on a music discussion board the other day, and the topic was the soundtrack of your life. By that, it means the songs that describe you and your life. Soundtracks and playlists are about eighteen to about twenty songs.
I felt like participating, so I came up with one. It took about an hour and a half. I was going through all of my CDs, all the stuff on my iTunes, and even going through my parents old 80s music.
So my challenge to you, you amazing TBers, is to make one for your life. (Recommended if your really bored. XD)
Here's mine:
01: I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
02: Broken Strings - James Morrison & Nelly Furtado
03: This is Me You're Talking To - Trisha Yearwood
04: Who I Am Hates Who I've Been - Relient K
05: Your Call - Secondhand Serenade
06: You Found Me - The Fray
07: Gravity - Sara Bareilles
08: Want To - Sugarland
09: When You Say Nothing At All - Alison Krauss
10: Chasing Pavements - Adele
11: Hero/Heroine - Boys Like Girls
12: Soulmate - Natasha Bedingfield
13: Realize - Colbie Caillat
14: Stop and Stare - OneRepublic
15: Rehab - Rihanna
16: Love is a Battlefield - Pat Benetar
17: Come On Get Higher - Matt Nathanson
18: In Another Life - The Veronicas
19: You Can - David Archuleta
20: The Life of a Song - Joey + Rory
These twenty songs describe me pretty well, I think. From the hopeless romanticisms like You Can, When You Say Nothing At All, and Realize to the love done wrong songs like Rehab, Gravity, Broken Strings, and Love is a Battlefield, to the religious parts of me like You Found Me and Who I Am Hates Who I've Been, to the "LOOK AT ME, I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU DAMMIT" of Chasing Pavements, Want To, and to a lesser extent Soulmate. The Life of a Song is just a good closing song, stating how life should be a song, and go on forever and touch a bunch of lives.
So, what can you come up with?
