My husband and I went to see this movie today along with our daughter and her husband. We all really enjoyed it and laughed a lot. We liked how they worked references to other movies (some Disney, some not) into the dialogue/action - very good!

We just saw it too and loved it! It was DH, DS (18) and myself. What a great movie! Why can't all movie's be that clean and good? We'd go to a lot more of them!

"These are not the droids you're looking for"
I said the line because it so obviously needed to be said, then we all cracked up when the character said it! Love a movie with a sense of humor!

Did you stay for the little "after scene" after the credits?

Yep! :thumbsup2

I agree with your point about it being a good, clean movie. We were discussing the same thing on the way home. We all really enjoyed the National Treasures movies, and I think this one was just as good.

Oh, no - we didn't!! Several people seemed to be hanging around, so we thought there would probably be one, but then everyone left, so we gave up too. What was it?

P.S. - Type in white font, so it doesn't doesn't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. (Those who want to read it will have to highlight to see it.)

DH and I saw it this afternoon and loved it too!

The Star Wars reference was the best (and of course the "Mickey scene"!) - but I'm sure there are others that I missed, too.

Never typed in white before, but I'll give it a shot!
Scene opens on a library-ish room and pans to a table with a old looking sorcerer hat (like the one in DHS, blue with stars and crescents on it) under a glass dome, and there is a bowler type hat on the table next to it. You see a man in a long coat reach for the bowler hat and put it on (you only see him from the back) but you know it is the bad guy (Havish?).That's it, but it leaves the door open for a sequel. YEAH!
Hope you can read it!

I loved this movie, definitely my favorite movie of this summer.

We just saw it ! DH, DS 7 & myself & we loved it. DH & I were saying the same thing, great special effects, lots of cute Disney references & other little jokes for us grown ups plus all the action DS loves & it was clean & it had a story line :lmao:

We also loved it even more because we used the Fandango code "APPRENTICE" & saved $9 !! Cheapest of the summer movies for us & so far in the top 3 after Toy Story 3 & Despicable Me !

We went to the matinee and saved some, but I would have loved to have the BOGO!

I agree - it was really good!

Loved the "broom" scene, of course, and the Chinatown scene - very visually appealing.

Another thumbs up from here. DD12, SWMBO and I saw it this afternoon. We really enjoyed it.
