The show was about him. When he died, it all went blank.

You remember the conversation he had about how you don't hear the shot?

He looked up to see Meadow coming in, and the guy who went into the bathroom came back out with a gun and shot him in the head.

I'm sure there will be a million different scenarios as to what happened.

What happened is that we were let down, at least I was. Talking about anti-climatic endings.

Last week was really the finale.

The ending is an absolutely perfect setup for any future Soprano projects. FABULOUS

That is the ONLY thing I can think of with that dumb ending. That they definitely are going to make a movie. They better after that anti-climatic, horrible ending!

Oh, and my mother thinks that the moral of this story is "Life Goes On," and that the cat in front of Satriale's was Adriana.

I don't think we can assume that Tony was shot, because there was no one left with an incentive to shoot him.

I don't think Tony was shot either. Chase left it open incase Gandolfini ever agrees to do a movie. Right now, from what I've been reading, it's the furthest thing from his mind. But...everyone has a pricetag. Once he gets out there and realizes he's always going to be Tony Soprano he might agree.

DH and I are sitting here just absolutely dumbfounded!!! WTH was that!!!! Maybe life just goes on for them now that Phil is dead. I'd rather think that than to think that they died.

I also thought my cable went out. I cannot believe that ending. I guess we're suppose to make our own endings from that episode. I'm kind of glad it's over. Now I can stress over some other show

I would have been a little disappointed if Tony was dead, and a little disappointed if he wasn't.
