The so-so trip..March madness is at WDW *Updated 7/27* Final thoughts

I totally missed the start of your report so I'm trying to catch up! We stopped in that Cafe not long ago, but I don't remember eating :confused3 it must have been a coffee or drink stop ;) I do remember they were very nice! I'm really enjoying your pictures, I'm really going to have to learn how to use my camera better!

Thanks for sharing the website (in code!) Scott. I see the adorable Minnie cell phone case. :) I want it, I want it, I want it!!!

Things are just starting to calm down at work/home so I’m finally able to get over to your TR – or at least the start of it!

Sooo many questions! Yup on the cheerleaders, until recently my sister-in-law coached pop warner cheer and they were there every year at that time. Hope they weren’t too bad.

1500 pics – whoohoo!

Hope you had the Dole Whip w/Rum!

Gotta love those early wake-ups, all our trips are like that. Nice that you got to skip all of those people in the special line!

Cool digital postcards!

Bummer that the Bloody Mary wasn’t good. Nice views on the flight down though.

Yay for bypassing all of the cheerleaders at ME! Crowded ME bus, ick. At least you left them all behind at AoA/POP.

I’ll be back to pick up on your first park experience :-]

Those are so gorgeous! I want one!

Glad you enjoyed your meal at Tangerine Cafe. We ended up stopping there so the boys could get some lunch.
me too.
Hope they enjoyed it too.

:thumbsup2 glad you're here.
:rotfl2: I have memories like that.
I use these trips to practice my camera skills.

:rotfl2: your welcome. It just would not let me post it. I might get Minnie for myself. :lmao:

Glad you're here.
A few incidents but nothing major.
1500 is small change compared to you. :lmao:
I did have it. Review later on. Whoever is on facebook with me knows already. It was a sneak peak. :lmao:
That was great skipping the line.
The postcards were fun.
Yeah but I will try it again in a month going to Aruba.
So true.

After our time in Morocco we moved onto Japan. Of course we had to see all the displays.

Then of course I needed building pics.

Then we came upon this.

Closer look.

Then another building.

Then we walked a little into Japan.

These fish are huge. Sushi anyone?

Looking towards the counter service.

Then we came upon more.

This one was interesting looking.

Then we walked a little towards the back.

I believe I was standing on the little bridge when I took this.

The little bridge I mentioned.

A small waterfall back there.

I loved the lights in the water and wanted to go back at night and take a pic and never did which didn’t make sense but that will come later.

And then our tour of Japan was over. Sorry for lack of words.

Up next,

We finish touring the countries.

When I was there a couple of years ago, those bonzais were on display next to that Japanese structure in the water. They look beautiful on display in those little garden settings!! Such lovely pictures!

Your EPCOT updates are inspiring me to be much more careful as I walk through WS. I need to find all the little subtleties like hidden waterfalls, etc. :thumbsup2

I must just always be rushing around, or just milling about waiting for Soarin' FPs to become available...:confused3

Thanks for the stroll through Japan to help me face this Monday morning! :thumbsup2

I loved your photo tour of Japan. It is so lovely. Sometimes you just don't need words - the photos tell the story just fine. :)

they almost look like they are fake and no way they could be real being that small.

the trees that is.

lovely tour through Japan, just looking at all the Bonsai's makes me feel a little more serene.

Thanks.
I used to rush around all the time ad now I slowly stroll. You see a lot more and each trip I find something new.
:rotfl2: understandable.

thanks. That is what I thought.

:lmao: For a moment I was like HUH? Gotcha now. I wondered if everything there was real.

Thanks. :rotfl2:
We are going to get a bonsai for the apartment. Small one of course.

The walking continued on. First I needed a pic of Spaceship Earth.

A little closer.

Then we came to America and look who we saw.

This is also the area where they had the BBQ kiosk for the F&G. it smelled so good here. This is the sign you see when you leave.

When you get to the other side of the pavilion by the counter service you will see.

Then we came to Italy and saw these two who I thought were adorable.

Then Vinny wanted to walk into the back.

I wanted to go in and have a drink but Vinny said he was not in the mood.

Then it was onto Germany and I took a lot of pics of the trains.

If someone could shrink me I would be willing to live here. LOL

This could be my home.

Of course I needed the village.

My shadow looks like the big bad giant coming to destroy the village.

The last train pic.

Then we moved on.

The crowds here on this day.

In China we saw them. I think these are here year long.

In Norway we saw something we had not seen before. It kind of reminded me of Dobby. LOL

Then we came to Mexico.

After this we started to head back to Future World. I will leave you with one last pic. One my faves.

Up next,

Design a car for no apparent reason…

So true.

Gotta keep that Disney magic going don't we? Glad it was nothing major.

I'll have to look for you on FB! :thumbsup2

Aruba - nice!

Now back to your TR!

Nice that your room was so close to the buses. That is strange that you both slept through your bags being delivered. It is a good thing we can trust those CMs aye? :)

DHS was a good choice; it didn’t look crowded at all. Love the choice of GMR to start your Disney adventure and to see the Cowboy version – score! It is good to see that bank on fire again. Nice shots of Indy, Jane, Bogie and Bergman, and especially the close-ups in Munchkinland.

I’m looking forward to doing more “grown-up” trips and being able to sit like Vinny and you did just drinking and people watching :drinking1

I know the Jack Sparrow thing is kind of lame, but it is 100 times better than the Narnia mess they had in there before. Still, not one we’ll be repeating so I hear ya.

Congrats on finding a good cover for your phone. I’m due for a new one this month and am contemplating whether I am going to get the discounted Galaxy S3 or preorder the S4. Either way I appreciate knowing that there are limited cover options for them – thank you :goodvibes

Cool shot of the water tower as you were leaving!

Dinner looked great and I had to chuckle about you getting spotted by the birthday singers, that’s the price you pay for wearing that pin :cake:

Loved the shot you caught with topiary Goofy/cake with the monorail in the background, wonderfully framed and captured.

It looked very beautiful there and it is amazing how many different topiaries/locations from my B-Day trip there in April of 2011. The Monsters, Inc. ones were fantastic! And pan on the roof of the castle – very choice!

Great shot of Vinnie in front of Lumier and Cogsworth.

Your lunch at Tangierine Café looked very tasty. Nice that you saw Aladdin and Jasmine while you were eating. Great shots of the sights of Morocco, I love that pavilion and all of the mosaics.

There seemed to be a LOT more banzai trees in Japan than on our last trip – wow.

The Woody topiary was very cool in the America pavilion.

I love that train village in the Germany pavilion too, looks like a very nice place to live.

The troll topiary in the Norway Pavilion is a bit like Dobby isn’t it?

All caught up now. The trip at least started well - low crowds, good weather, and good food. Looking forward to more! popcorn::

Love all the pictures of Japan....especially the pond. It always makes me feel peaceful!

Love Lady & the Tramp!

Off topic......I found this on a post about Annette's passing today. Did anyone else know this???

If you ever go inside the "Muppet 3D" Attraction in Disneyland or Disney World, you will see a big net holding all kinds of Jello hung from the ceiling. The prop is purposely put in place in honor of Annette Funicello because it's "A Net full of Jello!"

I think that's a unique tribute!

Love the walk through the countries.

Wow that last picture is great!:thumbsup2 I can see why it is one of your faves.

Seeing these pictures is getting me so excited for May. Just booked an impromptu trip over the weekend. We will be there 5/6 through 5/10.

OK

I found it a little creepy but then funny.

It wasn't overly crowded. I was so happy we got that version as I am bored with the other.

I’m looking forward to doing more “grown-up” trips and being able to sit like Vinny and you did just drinking and people watching :drinking1

I never saw Narnia I think and will revisit the Pirates.

Who knows when they will have the S4 cover. I really love the S3.

Cool shot of the water tower as you were leaving!
Thanks

it was. I really didn't think anything of it.

Loved the shot you caught with topiary Goofy/cake with the monorail in the background, wonderfully framed and captured.
Thanks. I was pretty happy with that one.

The Monsters Inc. I loved. I still have to thank that girl because I would have missed that one.

Great shot of Vinnie in front of Lumier and Cogsworth.
Thanks

The best CS meal of the trip.
Thanks. It is a beautiful place to look around
.

There seemed to be a LOT more banzai trees in Japan than on our last trip – wow.
There were definitely many of them. Hidden away and out in the open.

The Woody topiary was very cool in the America pavilion.
:thumbsup2

I love that train village in the Germany pavilion too, looks like a very nice place to live.
If I was an inch big I would. :rotfl2:

The troll topiary in the Norway Pavilion is a bit like Dobby isn’t it?
I thought it was. I loved it.

I did from FB. All over there today. So very sad.
That is a great tribute.

I love just wandering the countries.
Me too. So relaxing.

Love the walk through the countries.

it is my desktop wallpaper. :rotfl2:
That is exciting so you will see the flowers and topiaries.

I enjoyed your pics around Japan-lots of things I have never noticed. Must teach myself to slow down and explore!!
