Well Ive just cleared the car, got my wellies on and Im heading out,I told Vic not to drive the 12 miles to college today. Cardiff Airport is closed and the roads look quite bad.

I don't think I've ever worried so much about the snow as I have this year, due to Kerry driving now

Well, I made the effort to get into work! I cleared the car and made it to the main road (A47) but that was solid with cars. We have a small hill coming into our town and cars were struggling to make it up (and sliding all over the place going down!), so I did a quick turn round and headed back home

I think I will work from home today - although the link to our company system is so slow at the moment I think it may be overloaded with folks logging in from home LOL

I have a snow day too, as does DH. I think all the schools in our town have shut and the police have closed a lot of the roads leading into our town and told people to only drive in an emergency. We have about 7 inches in my back garden right now and the forecast is for snow all day!!

Hi everyone, snow day here too, the kids are off again and i am fed up with it all now to be honest. I am supposed to fly out of luton tomorrow afternoon and hoping for a reprive long enough to get me to the sun but will have to wait and see. Apparently the roads are blocked here too, no buses running so we are stuck for the time being. I wish you all a happy snow day though for those that are enjoying it

Well, no work for me again today - all the local schools are closed (although Daniel's school was the last to be announced, around 7:45). The kids have just made a couple of snowmen and are now downstairs warming up again. Once I am feeling brave enough, I may walk to the shop and get some hot chocolate and marshmallows

I hope everyone who had to go into work has made it there safely - DH has gone and, so far, he is the only one in from his team but we are only 5 miles away from his work so that's fair enough. Stay safe everyone

In the space of a few hours here the snow has started again and not stopped. Its all stuck on the ground but I will have to get the bus in to Uni have no choice but to go in today got to hand my assignment in. I'm so cold I'm tempted to wear tights under my jeans lol.

Well the snow had virtually gone yesterday and everywhere was back to normal.

It started snowing about 8.00am and it's still going strong so whether the girls last a full day at school will remain to be seen.

My Dh has a hospital appointment tomorrow but if it keeps this up I doubt we'll be able to go as at 30 miles away.

My kids are drinking hot chocolate outside with their mates the snowman looks pretty dodgy and ellie is already moaning that she's cold !

We woke up to lots of snow, way more than forecast. Most local schools are shut. Amazingly our plumber is still planning on coming today!

However our 9 year old isnt feeling too good,her hips very sore today so she is off school,but the 3 year old demanded to go to pre-school .

Same here and I woke up at 6:30 and it was clear nothing anywhere but I decided to go back to bed and Id get the bus( we have to get into uni for before 8 if we want a parking spot) woke up at 8:30 and everywhere was covered in snow, its still coming and the sky is completely white. Thank god I didn't drive it would be a nightmare getting home.

We had about 7 inches on Monday now it is melting. We may get a little more tomorrow but not as bad
