The Skeptical First-Timers made it back home, here's the TR! Completed!

DAY 6-part 3

So after Spaceship Earth we headed back over to Soarin’. Everybody was pumped up because they saw how quickly the fastpasses ran out that day and they were very curious to see what all the hoopla was about. Here’s the sign heading on up to it:

IMG_0708.jpg

Ok….this is the part of my trip report that everybody is going to jump ship because they are going to think I’m insane or something. I’m prepared to lose all my loyal followers from what I’m about to say: Soarin’ is not really that great at all. :scared1: Ok, I said it. I’m sorry. I mean it’s different and unique but I am flabbergasted that it is so hugely popular.

I did this ride one time and that was back in Feb when I went with my friend. She’s been all over the World and has been to Disney tons of times and she is completely impressed with this ride. When I saw how excited she got about it, I was intrigued to do it because Julie has done everything and been everywhere (versus my country bumpkin’ self) so if she’s impressed, it must be good! Well….once we did it and finished, I was like “huh? That’s it?” I don’t want to say it’s terrible or that I’d never do it again, not at all. I’m just saying that I am shocked that people will wait in huge lines for this.

BUT…..I did not tell my family at all or let on in the tiniest bit about my Soarin’ opinion because I wanted them to go into it with no preconceived notions. So…we hiked on over to it and since we had the fastpassses we zipped right in. We did get held up in one area for quite awhile I thought and everybody was getting sort of antsy but compared to the giant stand-by lines that went on forever, we were very grateful!

I remembered that when I rode this with Julie we got stuck on the very bottom and I took a mental note to try to request to sit on the top row when I took the family. Well, I froze up and was too chicken to ask because the CM seemed very busy and I didn’t want to bug her. And wouldn’t you know…we got bottom row. Ugh. Not loving those feet dangling overhead.

The best part of this ride is the scents. I do like that and Allison commented on how cool that was. I don’t think Ian and David even noticed. I looked at Ian while we were on the ride and I saw him looking all around and looking down at the floor and trying to figure out how it all worked. He’s not supposed to do that because he’ll see the floor and ruin the moment! I swear I’m not a diva and a picky person but the rumors about the screen being dirty and having lines in it is very true by the way. I hate to admit it though.

After the ride, the fam was like “that was neat” but none of us 4 had that pumped up feeling like you get after so many other attractions. I think most of us thought it was just like watching an IMAX movie. I’m sorry….I don’t mean to be negative or tick any Soarin’ fans off. Like I said…it’s unique and fun but the popularity and hype boggles my mind. And for all those waiting to find out what David’s most favorite thing on vacation was…..Soarin’ was not it.

So….we then headed over to Captain EO. Dave is a huge Michael Jackson fan so I figured “hey why not”. There was no “wait” exactly but we did have to kick around until the next show started. The kids went bonkers playing in this water attraction!! They went nuts and loved it! Funny how some of the things that I didn’t even plan for or know about ended up making such good memories (water fountain thing and dolphin show, etc etc). As a matter of fact, after EO, Ian begged to play at this fountain more versus getting over to Test Track!

IMG_0748.jpg

IMG_0747.jpg

Well, we got into EO and well…….what can I say? Words can’t describe this train wreck. I remember this from the 80’s so I knew it would be cheesy but I guess I’d forgotten just how cheesy it was. Ian doesn’t really know anything about Michael Jackson and afterwards he said “I thought he was a boy, not a girl?". Poor kid didn’t know what the heck we just watched.:rotfl: David ranted a little about how George Lucas helped produce it and he was upset that George would be a sell-out on something like this. I don’t know exactly what he was ranting about……something like that. Anyhoo…..once again, I wouldn’t say we regret seeing it because I want to see EVERYTHING at WDW one time or another but if we had skipped this and the Ellen snoozefest, we would have had maybe another 1 ½ in World Showcase darn it! So….if you guessed that David was WOW’d and blown away by EO…….um no.

Ok…enough of my negative ‘tude..
It was probably around 5 pm at this time (I’d know for sure if I had set my clock on my camera, duh) and it was time to get to Test Track. We had our passes and zoomed right on in. The whole attraction is done very well, even the line and pre-show stuff. All 4 of us really liked it! I never did this ride when I was here in Feb. so it was even new to me. The only thing is that the ride felt much shorter than I guess I imagined it would be. Dave and I were in the backseat with maybe a 10 year old single rider boy. It was hilarious because that kid yakked in David’s ear the entire time. He talked non-stop about what was coming up next, what was cool, “just wait for the end”……yakity yak yak. David is so nice and polite that he kept talking with the kid so he wouldn’t hurt his feelings but it was funny because Dave isn’t a talker and I know he felt weird the whole time. I wanted the kid to zip it because apparently he’d done this ride bunches of times and he was spoiling all the surprises in it for Dave. But…even with the Jabber Jaws sitting next to him, David still enjoyed it.

IMG_0751.jpg

When it was over, we all were pretty excited and liked it a lot! Except for the part where my sunglasses fell off and I stepped on them when I got out. Anyway….David said this was his favorite WDW ride on the whole trip or maybe tied with ToyStory Mania. Yay!! He really liked it. BUT…THIS IS STILL NOT HIS BIG “WOW” MOMENT for all you that guessed it would be Test Track. It was his favorite ride maybe, but not the “magical” experience that he got enthusiastic about. That’s all coming up very soon, I promise I promise. Hint…It’s a Day 7 thing and not even something that happened on our Epcot day.

The kids loved TT too and even had a great time checking out the cars on the display floor afterward. I liked TT of course but I’d honestly have to say that Epcot to me is not about the “rides” anyway and I could probably go there all day and not need to do a ride. I’m more of a World Showcase kind of girl.

I did feel a little sad after this ride though because I had this horrible feeling that this was the last “ride” on our vacation. :sad1: All we had left to cover was World Showcase. We still had a full day tomorrow but not any specific park plans so I just wasn’t sure if it was our last “ride’ or not, but I had a feeling it was…..boo hooo. Was this our last November ’11 WDW vacation ride or not??? You’ll see as I finish up the report on this day and our final Day 7 segment.

After TT and my little episode of feeling sad, it was time to get on over to World Showcase since we had an 8:30 reservation at Rose and Crown. It was only 6ish so that was good because we could “work” our way around that direction and check out the countries. Even though I was a little sad since we were on the tail end of our vacation, I was really excited to see Illuminations this night so that cheered me up!

Next segment will be about what we got accomplished in World Showcase and dinner at Rose and Crown and Illuminations!!!

I am ok with Soarin. I like it, but it's not superfantabulous. My husband doesn't think it's anything special at all. And I agree with you about feet dangling above. Ugh.

I think it is so popular because it's the newest thing in Epcot, even though it's already a few years old. Epcot lacks in thrill rides, and Soarin is one of the best things they have going. Everything is relative.

It really sounds like you're enjoying this day. I like that the kids take time to enjoy the "little" things like the dancing water outside Imagination.

I kinda like EO, but I LOVE MJ and I remember EO from the original days. We saw it last Sept right after they brought it back and it was like reverse time travel for me. The glitter and the platform shoes and the music. I hope Katie will want to see it. Just once.

I can't wait to hear if y'all did any more rides that night or the next day.

Although you didn't love Soarin' i'm still gonna follow along :lmao:. I still can't wait to read what David got all excited about so i'm still in :thumbsup2

Don't worry, you're not alone in the whole feeling "meh" about Soarin'. I have not been on it yet (during our honeymoon the lines were too long for us, 30 minutes, but we were spoiled with the lack of waits so 30 mins. was LONG, haha) but I have this feeling that I am going to walk off of it and think that I don't really need to ride it again. I mean, if I have an FP for it, sure, but I would never wait to ride it.

It's like with TSMM; it was the longest wait that we did (all of 45 minutes, which is probably a breeze for some people), and DH and I both agreed that it was not worth the wait. You can experience that at home on a Wii and I guess I just didn't think it was that great. I'd rather go ride Buzz over at MK, which always had 5 minute waits while we were there. I thought that was a really fun ride!

:confused3 So I don't tend to usually get the hype of rides like TSMM, I have a feeling I'll feel the same way on Soarin'. DH says Soarin' is okay, but not AMAZING. I think Epcot is more of an experiential park, it's really not all about the big rides...

Oh also, when I was 6 and saw Captain EO on my first trip to Disney World, it terrified me so much that I tore off my 3D glasses and shut my eyes. I think it was due to some lady with snakes for hair? I could be off with that but I haven't seen it since then, so it's been awhile.

Hey - you tricked me! I thought one of those 3 was the WOW! Oh well.

I like Soarin' a lot, but don't think it's quite amazing or anything. (Though I do think it's more impressive without the dangling feet - and never, ever, ever be afraid to ask for the top row - or anything else at Disney.) I was never WOW'd by test track myself. The end is fun, the rest is pretty dull...too much to sit through to get to the end.

Captain EO was one of the worst things ever. Just painful, especially after our DD threw a fit about how she didn't want to see it and we had to beg her to go. (She does this for every single 3-D movie.) The poor imagination pavillion needs so much love or else it will go the way of the Wonders of Life Pavillion.

Hope you guys eventually made it to Mission:Space too!

Soarin' fan here ! I'm not sure WHY though .. I just love the music and the scenery .. but I DO wish they would change it up some. I don't see what would be so hard to change the movie .. kind of like Star Tours where you never know which one you'll get. :confused3

I don't get all the hubbub about Soarin' either. I'm good with one ride per trip (I don't think we rode it last time at all) and will only do it with a fastpass -- I certainly don't want to wait in line for it. I don't get the multiple rides in a row, where people get a fastpass, then ride standby, and then ride again with their fastpass.

I like Test Track when you zip around the outside, but the inside stuff is just okay.

Well I was going to place TT or Illuminations as David's WoW. I feel the same as you about soarin' "so-so" but there is a rumor a new 3D soarin' over the world is comming that could make this attraction better.

From what I have been reading is that all you have left is the Musical review at FWL, so would that be what WoW'd David.

David said this was his favorite WDW ride on the whole trip or maybe tied with ToyStory Mania. Yay!! He really liked it. The anticipation is killing me. I was worried you were going to say it was the Figment ride but when you said it’s not in Epcot I’ll have to keep guessing.

Wow, I feel like I'm in the minority on this thread in that I love Soarin'! :lmao: I am in total agreement about the screen/film looking dirty or scratched or something. I've noticed it, but it still doesn't take away from the experience for me. I love the music and the smells especially. Glad to hear you all enjoyed TT though!

I think part of why Soarin' is so popular is because it's so family friendly. Lots of elderly and lots of little bitty. Everybody can do it!

Although you didn't love Soarin' i'm still gonna follow along :lmao:. I still can't wait to read what David got all excited about so i'm still in :thumbsup2
yay! Was worried I'd make everybody mad and they'd abandon me!

Don't worry, you're not alone in the whole feeling "meh" about Soarin'. Snakes for hair? I think she did actually now that I think about it. It was just a flat out weird attraction! Now if you are high or drunk, it may be a great show!

Hey - you tricked me! I thought one of those 3 was the WOW! Oh well.

ooops, didn't mean to trick you. His favorite time of the whole trip is coming up on Day 7!
Your poor DD, I'm sure she isn't the only one that has thrown a fit about not wanting to see EO:lmao:

Soarin' fan here ! I'm not sure WHY though .. I just love the music and the scenery .. but I DO wish they would change it up some. I don't see what would be so hard to change the movie .. kind of like Star Tours where you never know which one you'll get. :confused3
I think that would be great if they changed up the scenery. I'd actually like it better if it was one long scene instead of being so choppy and cutting away to different things. know what I mean?

I don't get all the hubbub about Soarin' either. I'm good with one ride per trip (I don't think we rode it last time at all) and will only do it with a fastpass -- I certainly don't want to wait in line for it. Totally agree with every single thing you just said. I am happy doing everything once and moving on. The only thing we did more than once was TOT and EE but that was just the kids that did it because we wanted to "nap"
By far, the hilite is the zipping around TT, they need more time of that!

Well I was going to place TT or Illuminations as David's WoW. I feel the same as you about soarin' "so-so" but there is a rumor a new 3D soarin' over the world is comming that could make this attraction better.

Well Well Well, we may have a winner here;)

The anticipation is killing me. I was worried you were going to say it was the Figment ride but when you said it’s not in Epcot I’ll have to keep guessing.
Well, his favorite thing on the whole trip did surprise me some (I thought I knew my husband but I guess not!) but it wasn't Figment.

You are sooooo not the minority on Soarin'. Maybe the minority in the people that responded in my TR but Soarin' is hugely popular so you are waaaaaay not alone.

DAY 6-part 4

So we felt like we had completely done Future World. Technically we didn’t do “everything” there since we only did one Innovention building and we didn’t do Figment and we didn’t do Mission Space. We also never saw “circle of life” in the Land area. All in all, I’d say we felt satisfied with our Future World Tour though. Probably, maybe, possibly would have done the EZ version of Mission Space if we had some extra time to kill but we didn’t.

We started our trek back over to World Showcase after TT. Here’s a big tip for somebody that has never gone before: World Showcase needs to be seen at night AND during the day. We all thought it was GOREOUS this night. The weather was probably low-mid 70’s while we walked around. We couldn’t have asked for better weather to do all this walking in! However, being here at night has the downside of not really being able to see some things. I mean, aren’t there Koi fish in Japan or China in the ponds? It was too dark for us to see things like that. That’s why you need to go in the daytime to see all the detail and then back in the evening for the gorgeous-ness of it all.

Since we had already done Mexico and Norway earlier, we skimmed those by and headed for China. Dave was in his usual drinking mood and kept getting distracted by the drink stands though. He had a few along the way but I don’t remember exactly what they all were. We did get a grey goose slushie in France though!:thumbsup2

Ok…after skimming by Mexico and Norway, we got sucked into China and were there FOREVER. Allison was completely in her element and loving every single thing in World Showcase and David really really liked it all too. Ian was patient but definitely not the hilite of his trip. Here’s a pic of Mexico and China: Now…taking pictures in the dark is not my thing so you may have to use your imagination a little.

IMG_0761.jpg

So we browsed around China and of course it was fascinating. I didn’t know this but the Chinese Acrobats were about to start and everybody wanted to watch that show. Very very cool! I felt like a beached whale after seeing how in shape these girls are though and I have no idea how they can bend and move the way they do.

IMG_0766.jpg

Even though the show was great, I was concerned with time because we had to get all around the loop and end up at Rose and Crown by 7:50 (not 8:30 like I said on a previous update). I hated to rush for an ADR! I also knew how many cool things were coming up and I tried to explain to the fam that there was a ton more to see and we didn’t need to spend all night in China to be entertained.

We sort of whipped through Germany, Italy, and America unfortunately. I did manage to carve out enough time to jump into the caramel shop and get some caramel corn though! There were about a million things in there that I wanted! I was hoping the caramel corn would be warm but it wasn’t. Not that we still didn’t polish off a bag! David wasn’t around for the caramel shop because he was out somewhere sniffing out another drink booth. I imagine he got a beer somewhere around here.

IMG_0768.jpg

I just can’t explain how excited Allison was at World Showcase. Too excited to the point that she was driving us crazy because every time I turned around, she was darting off and we’d have to look for her. She literally would get sucked into each country like they were big vacuums and we’d find her gazing at a statue or in a shop or wherever. I loved that she loved it yet it made me nervous to constantly be looking for her.

Ian didn’t want caramel corn so we picked him up some regular popcorn in the America Section. It was so flippin’ cool because they gave me back change in old fashioned dollar coins instead of bills. AWWWWW….even the money matches the theme of the country.

We spent a bunch of time in Japan because Allison loved it so much. Would you believe I actually sat outside of the neat store there that does the Pick a Pearl because I was so tired and didn’t feel like walking anymore?! Well…that and Ian wanted to eat his popcorn and drink sitting outside the store (he hates shopping) so I needed to stay with him. I was sooooo looking forward to seeing the Pick a Pearl thing and was even planning on maybe doing it but and here I was just too dang tired to walk through that store.

Once we got to Morocco, we stalled out there for awhile. That place is cool! Allison went into one of the shops with David and was on the hunt for a hair-stick ornament for her hair. I had finally hit the wall of exhaustion on this trip because my feet were finally tired. I’d been sick of course but never really had tired feet UNTIL THIS NIGHT. I ended up finding a bench in Morocco while Dave and Allison shopped. Ian took my iphone and played on it on another bench. Holy Cow dude, we’re in Morocco and you’re going to play games on my phone!? I guess he had hit the wall of exhaustion too and he’d been a good little trooper so I just sort of let him chill.

IMG_0774.jpg

IMG_0773.jpg

About this time David was needing to refill his tank with an alcoholic beverage so he ran over to get Grey Goose Slushies. I didn’t really have any other alcohol on the trip but I did have one of those! Here’s a pic of the kids waiting for us to get our slushes. Awwwwww, France is so beautiful!

IMG_0778.jpg

IMG_0775.jpg

Well being on Day 6, still fighting the remnants of nasty cold, having walked 4 billion miles in 6 days, and a nice Grey Goose Slush were all the ingredients for the perfect storm. :faint: After downing that drink, I wanted to curl up in a big ball and sleep for days. I had no idea how tired I was until this drink reminded me. :rotfl: I’d say Ian and I were the most tired and were sort of “done”. Allison was a wild-woman and really wanted to do more and see more but I think deep down she was exhausted too. David was just fine. He loved World Showcase and the drinks didn’t appear to make him tired like they did me.

So we eventually got over to Rose and Crown. We spent a good bit of time in China, Morocco, and Japan and skimmed most of the other places on the way to our dinner. Once we got up to the Rose and Crown check-in the first thing we noticed was their accents. David even thought it was cool at this point that all the CMs really are from that country. I told him that earlier in the trip and he didn’t seem impressed but I guess it finally occurred to him at this point because he commented on how cool it was that their nametags said where they were from and how cool their accents were.

We got seated in the most perfect spot ever on the patio right next to the water. I told David that he would have to eat slow (a foreign concept to him) because we needed to still be here for Illuminations. This is a cute place but a little on the small side I thought because once I got up to find the restroom and it was tight getting back to it!

We ordered a cheese tray for an appetizer and it just may have been my single most favorite food experience on the whole trip! I don’t know if I was finally getting my sense of taste back (after the head cold incident) or if it was just that good! Either way, we all nibbled on this cheese tray and it was spectacular! Of course, my Dad is Italian so I grew up eating cheese and salami and love any and all cheese!

IMG_0782.jpg

Oh…our waiter was just the cutest most adorable little guy from Great Britain. Allison had a huge crush on him! I wish I had gotten his photo!

David ordered a steak and I had fish and chips and Allison just had soup. Ian had pizza I think? I could tell the fish and chips was authentic and fresh and the breading was light and good BUT I just felt like the flavor was bland, like it needed some good ol’ salt or seasoning of some type. Maybe I’m just used to processed fake fish fillets loaded with salt? I actually sort of wished I had Dave’s steak instead:laughing: He liked his food but never got overly excited about it. So far on this trip, Sci Fi was the only eating establishment that he really seemed to get somewhat enthusiastic about. He said this place was “pretty good”. We did succeed in eating slow but it still wasn’t time for Illuminations so we ordered dessert. Oddly enough, I felt like the desserts were fairly low priced for Disney. I want to say 7 or 8 dollars apiece, so we ordered 2 to share! We got a little cheesecake piece that was good and fixed up real fancy. We also got the crème brulee which was NICE!

About the time we were eating dessert, Illuminations started. FANTASTIC! David actually did some “wow’ing” during this show which was extremely rare for him. (remember though, the big “magical moment” for David is tomorrow, though Illuminations might have been a second favorite “event”) We were right smack next to the water so it was amazing. There was some sort of cannon firework thing blasting out of an area right by our seat so it was loud and really neat to be up so close. I’d say Illuminations was a big hit! The kids loved it though it was getting a little bit chilly at this point and there was a small to moderate amount of whining going on since nobody had brought a jacket and we were all SOOOO tired since we had been at Epcot for 12 hours total. Yikes!!!

IMG_0788.jpg

IMG_0791.jpg

After we paid up with the hot waiter, it was time to head home. This is the point that I wished I had a scooter since the monorail seemed like it was MILES away. Ian seriously asked me if we came back again, if it would be ok to rent him a wheelchair! He was completely serious and wanted to know if it really would be ok to do that.:lmao:

The sad thing is that we never got to see Canada at all on this trip and I’ve seen photos of how nice it is and I really wish we could have seen it. Then again, at this point on our way walking out, we were discussing that we’ll just come back tomorrow and see World Showcase better and in the light so I wasn’t sad at the time of course.

On the way out, I noticed a CM that was waving bye to everybody and was so cheerful and it really was neat to see that no matter how late it is or what, the CMs always try to be friendly. I pointed her out to David and was like “you don’t see that at Six Flags!”

I snapped this photo on the way out. Awwwwwww. So beautiful.

IMG_0793.jpg

We got up to the monorail area and then stopped dead in our tracks!!! There were people lined all the way zig zagging up to the monorail and completely down to the park. I was like :scared1: . David freaked a little and suggested we call a cab. I was stubborn though and said I didn’t want to do that though my legs were begging me to! I felt confident that the line would move fast and I was sort of right. I think we got the 3rd monorail train and it wasn’t THAT bad of a wait. It certainly was the longest line we had waited in our entire trip though!

They sure load people on the monorail at closing time though because there was ZERO room for even a skinny waif to fit into our cab by the time they loaded us in. There were plenty of armpits in faces too and once again, I was thrilled that we were here in November and not August because I really never noticed any sweaty people. Thank God.

We got to the TTC and I was at the point that I wanted David to carry me to our room but he’s just too much of a wimp to handle the job so I had to walk. Actually, I don’t think there’s ANY man that can lift me so I guess I’ll let David off the hook:lmao:

Once we got back to the room we all collapsed. The kids were asleep in mere seconds! What a fabulous but exhausting day!:faint:

Ok…..so we still have one full entire day left on our trip tomorrow and the only obligation is Hoop De Doo at 6:15. Whatever will we do?? And this is also an interesting day because after 7 full days, David actually gets pumped up and enthusiastic over something and literally says “ok, I guess I’m feeling some magic finally”!!

Our final day is coming up next!

Hurry, hurry with the next update becaue I can't wait to see what David was finally feeling some magic over!

Ya know, I was reading that report, and it seemed like you must have pretty much "skipped through" all the countries - if you were getting to mexico when it was dark and got to England - that's what 2.5 hours to do all of world showcase? You did an awful impressive amount of Epcot in a day though, I must say. It is also far and away the worst park for walking, especially doing what you did (FW...WS...back to FW...back to WS). The trudge out of the park after Illuminations is the WORST...which is why we generally don't watch it. It really sounds in general like David really liked Epcot - even beyond all the drinks! :lmao: Too bad you missed Mission:Space, I bet your family would've enjoyed it. Oh well, one for next time!

I find of all the parks - Epcot is always the one that we seem to leave the most stuff on the table. This last trip we gave it two pretty full days plus a few hours - and while we did quite a bit of it, we still didn't get to all of it. We basically blew off Morocco, France & England. And America - we always skip that one.

It's funny you mentioned missing Canada - we always skip right by Canada because we live 20 minutes from those crazy Canucks! They all come shopping at our malls - there's Canadians everywhere here this time of year!

I can't believe your almost through with your TR and I am only just today wrapping up day 2! I really can't go faster though - try as I might.

You have left us all dying to find out about David's magic moment!! What an exhausting day at Epcot, but I must say y'all really did get a lot done!

Love having you reading along! Thanks:goodvibes

Hurry, hurry with the next update becaue I can't wait to see what David was finally feeling some magic over!
You got it...hopefully I can bang it out today or tomorrow in between clients:thumbsup2

I know....I think we only spent 1 1/2 hours touring the countries total! That's not counting the dinner time of course. It was a fly-through kind of thing unfortunately. And a lot of that 1 1/2-2 hours was spent in China!! Not spending more time at World Showcase is my single biggest regret. It's not the way we planned it though and things got all screwed up with my sick day and such. Originally I had a whole day planned for FW and a seperate whole day for Showcase but we ended up being forced to roll it into one day:sad2: GOTTA GO BACK!!

Funny about the Canadians!:lmao:

Hey....don't worry about your TR, I'm the abnormal one!! I don't think I've ever seen a TR move as fast as mine. I'm just a nerd that's all. The thing is that I'm self employed with my own business so I don't have a "real" job:lmao: I finally got smart and started typing my updates as documents in between clients at work and then just come home and paste them onto the Dis. Also...I'm dying to get started scrapbooking and I can't be doing two projects at once so I need to get this TR out of the way:laughing:

p.s. I took a peek at your latest update this morning but need to go back through it when I get more time. I did see some yummy food photos!

No worries, the big "reveal" will be out soon.
We did do alot at Epcot. I feel satisfied but we skimped alot on Showcase so that part bugs me some. Gotta go back!!

I can't wait to read more, but I wish you would quit putting yourself down. Hubby could have carried you to your room if he wanted to!

DAY 6-part 3

Anyway….David said this was his favorite WDW ride on the whole trip or maybe tied with ToyStory Mania. Yay!! He really liked it. BUT…THIS IS STILL NOT HIS BIG “WOW” MOMENT for all you that guessed it would be Test Track. It was his favorite ride maybe, but not the “magical” experience that he got enthusiastic about. That’s all coming up very soon, I promise I promise. Hint…It’s a Day 7 thing and not even something that happened on our Epcot day.

I'm thinking I know what it is and if it is, you have my permisson to go on a girls only "magical" trip!:cool1:

Your pictures are amazing and I can't belive you've already hit the big stuff in Epcot on just your first day there.
can't wait for more. :thumbsup2

I can't believe it's almost over either...can't wait to hear about your final day. I'm sorta in agreement on Soarin'...we enjoy it but we are more thrill seekers so we like several other rides much better! :)
