The single most over-used phrase on the Dis boards:

Passive-Aggressive

OMG, if I hear it one more time. People call everyone they don't like or agree with passive-aggressive.

If they don't get your joke you are passive-aggressive.

If they don't agree with what you did in a particular situation you are passive-aggressive.

I think almost everyone on these boards took the same pop psychology course in college.

Then they go on to start threads to make fun of the person, how is that any different? :confused3

Personally, I miss political correctness :rotfl2:

Well, this is a very passive-aggressive thread! (just kidding!)

Did you notice the :rotfl2: after I said politically correct?

Fred, I like you and think you are very funny. Why did you think I was talking about you and that thread??? I was thinking of another thread where the OP is still taking a beating over a situation. And no, I'm not going to mention it and give it more "publicity". So does that make me PA?

As for that OTHER thread, the basic "beating" is that the OP ASKED for a response, and when the overhelming majority did not agree with her, she continued to insist that she was correct, because that was her OPINION.

Hey snappyd AKA Giffftyd,

Now what you do is take all these answers and make a poll. ::yes::

I never seen that used here.

I read a lot of threads about kids and I've seen it in just about every one.

Examples:

"DD9 wants to dye her hair lime green!"---"Let her..It's her hair. Is that the hill you want to die on"

"DD12 wants to date but I don't think she should"---"Let her...Is that the hill you want to die on?"

"Ladies" hate the term and won't open a thread if it is in the title. Really ? Do you call other women Ladies ?

I do. :goodvibes
I use it often.
I was at field day with DD today and had 6 girls to drive back to school - I know I said "Ok ladies, lets go"
I use it more with DD's age group than with others but I do still use it once in awhile with my group of girlfriends.
