I feel so SAD!
Did everyone have to go and buy more memory or RAM to play it? Or is it just me?

Well, my dad said he isnt buying new RAM or a new computer.
But I have money saved up so boo hoo on him!
Tomorrow I'm going to talk to someone in Best Buy and Circuit City.
I have HP and I dont know an HP store around me.

i am addictedi just recently got sims 2 pets and i like it
i need to work on my downloading the stuff i download like crazy but i know my limits now well ithink?
the game takes up too much space on my computer and causes the game to go slow but i still play it.

It does take up memory, but think, there is no other game out there like it..I've seen very many imatations, and I buy them to compare them. It's almost sad.

I dowload now and then, I like the new hairs, because I myself am not the best at Body Shop.. I advise you not to download the things with the small arrow..like the one at the top of my post..They have things that aren't EA and Maxis approved..aka...can have viruses...

Hehe know whats funny?
The first time I bought The Sims 2 I bought the DVD/CD version with my own money. It froze alot so I stopped using it for a long time.
Then I went and bought the normal CD/PC version of the game [Holiday Edition though] and it froze again.
I gave up after that so I realized that I spent almost $100 on it and got mad.
But now I see that you can fix the problem!

I love decorating the houses on the Sims 2.
They look so real and I can decorate the rooms and buy the things that I want. Houses=FUN!

Yes, me too. I am going to be a graphic/home designer. This helps. I've designed the house I'm going to live in when I'm older on there.

I would love to see it.
But have no idea how to.
But decorating the houses is the best.
Characters are ok, houses is much for fun.
Especially when you demolish everything and start from scratch.

Heres how: Post some of your work!

When your playing or building a house, the camera icon in the bottom left, or the 'F' key, will take a picture. When you shut the game down go to, 'My documents' then 'Ea Games' then 'The Sims 2' then 'storytelling' and if you download anything from thesims2.com look under 'downloads' =] Then just upload that picture onto photobucket, or image shack, and post like you would any regular picture. =] I will on this thread first thing tommorow.

I LOVE this game. It's so much fun. But when I want to save a 'lot' it takes FOREVER to save. I have a fast computer so I don't know what's wrong with it. But it's still amazing!

I <3 Sims... Pets and nightlife are the best expansions. For the past couple days it won't load any lots. It jkust sits there with the family picture, and the yellow bar stops going across. It has been doing this on my friend's too. We both just installed Holiday and Open for Buisiness, and I don't know if that has anything to do with it

This is kinda offtopic but yeah..

I'm having trouble with mine too. This one family, there's 2 people living in it. Mom and the son. Well the son has a girlfriend so I invited her over. Well now they're stuck in the hot tub, and when I tell him to go to the bathroom, he won't get up. He just stays there. He's been like that for hours (sims time). The mom is perfectly fine but it's just the boy... he's like frozen or something... do you know what to do when they're like that?

erm... cheat.

Press shift, control, c, all at once, type in "moveObjects on" click enter, and then go into buy mode, and pick him up and move him. If that doesn't work, (aka he flies back to the hiot tub) do shift control c again and type in maxMotives nad enter it so he doesn't die.

It's still freezing on me. I click on the lot, it starts to load normally, but then it stops having that white bar make things turn colorful, but the hourglass still turns and the music still plays

It just goes on... and on... and when I minimize it it won't let me close.
