I have started playing with Painshop Pro 8 and creating clothes using Body Shop but I pretty much suck at it.

Price going down? Not for a while.

The DVD-ROM edition will have extras like bloopers and outakes and Film Making 101 to get the most out of the Movie Maker. Also, it's just one disc.....instead of 3-5.

I can host the pics for you. I've tried simple stuff. Here's some bright pink lipstick. LOL! To me, it's awfully bright. When compared to some content I've seen, it's pretty tame....

It is the same game. I don't know if it will run any better with either version. I want the extras and to only have one disc.

I am also a total SIMS addict I don't have much time to read all the pages right now, so sorry if this has been answered already, but does anyone know if this game will also be released for PS2 as well as CD Rom? September 17 is the day we leave for WDW... maybe my sister (who is a manager at Best Buy) can get me an advanced copy

I don't know about PS2. I'd read somewhere that Maxis viewed the PS2 version as the Sims 1.5. You never know though. There's always URBZ.....

Olena, I like that lipstick. I think it would reaaly be good for a Teen. The green eyeshadow is cool too.

I have been going to different sites reading the Tutorials but what I really need to do is get a handle on Paintshop Pro.

PhotoShop

I have to make this stuff at the pixel level, so it's very time consuming. I was excited at first and full of motivation. After a while, it wore on me. Then I started seeing custom content that I could just download. I just haven't tried much since. I think that when I play the game, I'll get inspired to make particular items to fit my scenarios.

What I really want to see is the reupholstering tool for the furniture. How cool will that be? I hope you can uee your own textures, too. I've got some neat ones in my collection.....

I dont think the 17th can get here any faster. I have been waiting for this game for SOOO long, and it is finally time for it to come out...

I also am looking forward to Roller Coaster Tycoon 3....due out around the holidays...supposed to be everything people have been asking for...

Absolutely! I can't wait for RCT3 either. LOL! When my countdown timer runs out, it will say 'C'mon, RCT3!'....


I wonder what the Sims 2 Expansion packs will entail. The only rumor I've heard is that there will be a vanity mirror. They have to add pets. That was so popular with TS1.

OMG!!! I LOVE the Sims! DH thinks I'm crazy w/ all my Sims collections! He's a HUGE RCT fan too!

I got back into Body Shop, but I mostly tinkered around with clipart and undies. With all the neat Disney clipart here, I'm that would make some interesting clothing. I hope someone makes Mouse Ears for the Sims to wear. That would be so neat....

Lucy's weekly mail wasn't disappointing...LOL! Screens were released showcasing design bloopers and bugs that came up during the game's development. I especially love the headless baby. Beware of Mom with a knife....
