olena, Like you I have already pre-ordered. I got a $15 coupon from the EA store, so I ordered from them. It basically covers my expediated shipping charge. LOL

What I am looking forward to is the ability to build the multi-leveled houses and being able to create terrain using Simcity4.

I have been playing with the Body Shop and downloading clothes, hair and make-up from a few of the fan sites.

I think the build mode allows for 4 levels to the house, and it allows building against hilly terrain for nice tiers.

Why not share some of your Body Shop creations?

I've found some content on some web sites. After I get the game, I'll be joining the Sims Resource. They have everything there.

I've seen some nice stuff on the Well Dressed Sim site, too.

I can't remember where I found it, but I got this cute Grease shirt and butterfly jeans last week.

I was reading old transcripts and saw that teens could 'run away'. The new family dynamic is going to be such a change.....

The Sims Resource and The Well Dressed Sim is where I am getting most of my downloads. Those were my 2 favorite sites for the Sims and they have great stuff for Body Shop.

It will be pretty cool to play a sim or sims through their lifespan. To see how early events will affect them later in life.

Actually, those clothes aren't mine. That is a teen outfit I downloaded. I never tried making any until I got the Body Shop. I'll post my undies set below. Underwear seemed like a good place to start, since clothes can be a little time-consuming. Unfortunately, I haven't tried making anything else.

I'm not sure I'll ever make more. I tend to be more interested in others' creations. With my eyes, I have to deal with pixels, when making custom content. I do enjoy the opportunities for creative expression that the Body Shop allows.

I know! I wanted to spit nails! UGH!

When I thought it was being released in February, I asked Chris to upgrade my PC. After that was accomplished, the release was delayed. I think September 17th is it though. If they delay again, there may be threats from angry mobs.....LOL

I've been waiting awhile for Sims 2 to be released. I haven't played my Sims games in a while (hooked on my Xbox at the moment), but I think it'll be alot of fun.

just a heads up - Sims2 in dvd rom is available only through pre-order. The advantage is 1 disk to load instead of 4 or 5.

In addition, when you pre-order either format, you get a bonus cd. It's similar to the one with Makin Magic but has some extra stuff in it.

I preordered mine at EB ($49.99 along with DH's Everquest 2) and the manager said he was just told it was likely the game will be in store a day or 2 early.

He said to check in that Tues or Weds. Which makes sense because games are normally released on tues.
